"Cranky much," muttered Kaji as he slinked off the back of the couch and sat crosslegged on the cushion. "Feel better?" he said with a smirk.

Ly was favoring one foot, it was set very gingerly on his other paw. "Hm... a few cracked ribs, a sprained ankle, blood loss, broken and shreaded wings, broken tail, the last two having been recently mended... how would you feel?" He snorted a blast of ice onto the floor, and rested his sprained paw on that.

"I feel fine. I was going to fight yawgmoth after you left. But he said something about honor and left," said Kaji as he hopped off the couch and walked over to Ly. "would you like me to heal the rest of you? or do you want to do that yourself?"

"That would be very nice," Ly said, removing his paw from the block of ice and holding it gingerly out to Kaji. "That first... please." His tone had softened. "It sucks only being able to use three feet."

"I'm glad I am only a half dragon," said Kaji as he walked up and his hands covered in ice. He hald his hands up to Ly's foot and started to heal it. He smirked and started to tickle it when it was healed.

Ly jerked his paw back. "Don't do that, Kaji... it feels funny." He started to shake uncontrollably, then his head vanished into the crook of his arms. "I was so scared... I thought he was going to find me... then kill me..." He shuddered violently.

Kaji healed the rest of him pretty quick as he covered those areas with ice. He walked up to Ly's head area and said, "I'm sorry Ly. I forgot." He sat down in front of Ly and started to scratch the back of his head with his tail.

Ly raised his head so that his eyes were peering over his arms. They were shining with hysterical tears. "I thought I was going to die..." The scratching felt good, VERY good... Eventually he fell asleep, each breath seeming like a shuddering sigh.

Kaji stopped scratching the back of Ly's neck and stood up, He looked at the bookcase behind him and he started to look in it. As he looked he saw a book on Dragon Magics. He pulled it out and started to look through it. Even though Kaji was half dragon, he still wanted to feel the feeling of being a full dragon.

Ly didn't dream at all, he was too exhausted to dream... he just lay there. He would've looked dead had his chest not been rising and falling.

As Kaji read the book, he wanted to be half dragon more and more. As he kept searching, he found a spell that would make him a full dragon. He smiled as he looked up and saw a bit of Ly's blood on the ground. Kaji froze it and lifted it up over to him as he cut his hand and mixed his and Ly's blood. Healing his hand after the mixing he read more of the spell and walked over to a section of the room where it was more open. He said the words to the spell and drank the blood mixture.
Almost instantly Kaji felt great beams of pain shooting from everywhere in his body. He fell to the ground and his wings and tail wrapped around him like a protective cocoon. The air around him started to grow opaque and Kaji could stop himself from screaming.

Ly woke up... someone had been screaming. "Kaji?" he looked around, then saw his fallen brother... his caccoon. "KAJI!" He rushed over, not noticing that he had gone hybrid. "Kaji... say something... KAJI!"

Kaji couldn't hear his borhter calling his name over his own screams. The pain was seemed endless and was excrutiating. His fists were balled up so tight that blood streamed from them. his voice was going coarse as he kept on screaming in agony. The air around him solidified into ice and obscured anoyone's sight of him, but his screams could still be heard.

"KAJI!" Ly roared, pounding on the ice with his fists. "KAJI!" He turned, trying to find something... and he saw the spellbook. What... he snatched it up, staring at the spell. "Why... Kaji, why?" He threw the book across the room, and turned to pound on the ice again. His Dragon Guardian weapons were glowing eerilly, telling all what they probably already knew... Kaji was in pain... MUCH pain.

Kaji's voice died out as his body fell limp on the ground his wings unfurled from hiim and laid behind him as the ice shattered into a thick mist. Under the mist a white light flashed and Kaji's body was different. The spell was over and Kaji had gained his full dragon nature. What was laying there was Kaji's full dragon form. His eyes were closed and his chest was rising and falling slowly.
