She moved quietly through the tumbled remains of the city, looking for a sheltered place to rest. Sometimes she would stop and stare when something caught her attention - a reflection off a broken window; a crumpled piece of newspaper blowing on the wind....

Hellions King stood in the newly crafted Chapel of Baranar Bremwill's, carrying Ora still over his shoulder. Supers bustled about, the pews having been moved for tables in which guns were being crafted, along with other devices, technopaths carefully manipulating things. There were lights shining from the opened doors down the end. Hellions moved down one of the doors, walking down the steps to a wider room, with more doors. He eventually came to the first door he had seen, and entered. Baranar sat within, staring intently at Feather, who was on a perch. Despite the obvious dillema, there was an open window behind Baranar, which showed the ruins of Phoenix. Baranar was surprised, looking at Hellions, his eyes quickly narrowing as he recognized him.
"I didn't much expect she had died." He said simply, staring at Hellions.
"You were right. She's dead, for now. Might not be the keenest on joining you all once she comes to, but she's here now." He sat her body in a nearby chair. "You need to get her to join your cause again. That's what I've been told. She needs to bring this to an end, and stop this war."
Baranar paused for a moment, then nodded his head. "I will see to it. Now you have no wihs to be here, and I have no wish for you to be here, so leave."
Hellions was gone, vanished, as if he had never been there.

Ora's body was a bloody mess, with the cuts and bruises passed over by Death. She was slumped slightly on the chair, her dark hair falling back over the edge to trail like a black ink curtain down to the floor.

After Hellions left, Baranar stood, walking over to Ora's body. He bent down, peering at her, a thin strand of white light drifting from his finger to her mouth, slipping in. It came back out moments later, returning to Baranar's finger. "Easier ways to feign death." He said, standing.
A time passed, as he sat in his desk, contemplating his next actions carefully.
He stood, light gathering about his hands, forming opaque white orbs. He placed his hands on Ora's head, the orbs' light seeping into her, her pale skin barely hiding the light that now shone from within her. Baranar wrenched his hands free from Ora's head, the light forcing her eyes and mouth open, forcing sight to return, and breath to fill her lungs again. The poison had been purged, and Oralia was restored to life.
"Hello again, Oralia. I would not advise standing."

Ora's mouth opened in a sharp intake of breath, her body jerking slightly as the magic forced it to revive. Her eyes quickly gained focus, and moved to analyze her surroundings. "Are they dead?" She asked after a moment.

Baranar was already moving back to his chair, seating himself before turning to Ora. "The Riders? Yes. Their portal has been sealed as well. You were saved, it seems, by our friend with the bat. He dropped you off, dead, before leaving." Baranar looked up at Feather for a moment, who quickly flew out the window. "You are sitting in my office, below my Chapel, in the remains of Phoenix. I have built a new base of operations for those who are loyal and served in the AOS." He folded his hands together. "You were thought dead, so I took charge." There was no apology or intent to explain his actions, merely a dead-pan summary of the situation.

If that b*****d has killed any of them, then he did his saving in vain, because I will go after him consequences or no." She ground her teeth for a moment, as she tried to swallow her dislike for Hellions. Finall after a moment she gave a slight nod. "I assumed you would take over."

"Indeed. Your parents are nowhere to be found, nor your master, though I'm assuming he had something to do with Hellions being there at the party." Baranar sat back in his chair. "I was told that I was supposed to get you back to the war effort, that you were to retake the helm of this army and crush the Angel. I think that choice foolish."
Baranar placed one hand on his desk, closing his eyes. His face tensed, the color of the desk moving away from his hand, leaving it a dull grey. This began to spread to the air, then to the two of them, ending at the room. Sweat poured down Baranar's face. "I may now speak freely, but briefly. This was is foolish, and will end with at least one of our deaths. If you seek to regain any chance of a life, my advice would be Hellions. Kill him, or see him killed." Baranar tossed a rolled up piece of paper to her, magic erased from the room for now. "Therein you will find a prophecy, involving the Angel and Hellions. Work it right, and see the Devil dead."

Work it right, and see the Devil dead."Ora caught the paper quickly in her hand. A small smile crossed her face. "I will find a way to manage it, if anyone can alter prophecy, it would be me." She said it as a fact, with a surprisingly little amount of pride, especially considering it was coming from Ora.
