Alex's face turned a darker shade of red and her head nearly hit the desk. "I...I'm not cute! Not at all..." She muttered nervously, brushing her hair back behind her ear. "But...thank you. I appreciate the effort..."

He blushed a little but smiled. "I guess it just my oppenion an besides it was fun." He laughed though not loud enough for the teacher to hear.

Alex looked at him but avoided eye contact. She smiled softly. This boy was truly something, wasn't he? However, she didn't understand him one bit. "I suppose it was kind of funny." She agreed, chuckling.

"Nothing." Alex said coldly, picking her text book up off of the floor and placing it rather roughly on her desk. Normally, she would have laughed at a joke, even if it was a lame one. This time however, she wasn't in the mood to laugh.

whated I say? He leaned forward and started reading his text book. He dident say anythang else for the rest of the the period.

Alex stood at the sound of the bell and gathered her things before walking towards the door. The teacher stopped her and said a few things to her quietly. She merely nodded at the teacher and looked at the ground before heading for the door again.

He stood and walked out of the class. "Well todays turning out great." He sighed and pulled out is pocket watch and started spinning it. "And to thank its only first and Iv alredy met someone and pissed them off must be a new record."

Alex sighed, walking quickly down the hall. She stopped when she heard someone call her name.
Lyra smirked, walking towards her sibling. Casually, she slide and arm around her shy sister's shoulder. "How was class?"
"It was fine." Alex muttered, avoiding her sisters eyes.
"What happened to that boy you bumped into? He didn't hurt you did he?"
"No." Alex said, lifting her head slightly.

He walked out into the courtyard of the school. The day seemed to be going poorly and it was just starting. He sighed. "Mabey i should head home now...mom does need help unpacking."

Lyra paused by the window, smirking slightly. "That him down there?"
"Yes, I suppose. Why?" Alex said dully, looking at the boy Lyra was pointing at.
"I think we should go say hello." Lyra stated, grabbing her sisters hand and quickly pulling her towards the school's exit before Alex had a chance to protest.
