"GENNO!" She was screaming at the top of her lungs this time.
Hediki was charging at Genno.
She wouldn't have time to save him.

Kabuto gets in front of Genno and takes Hideki's blow. He is knocked unconscious from the force.

Genno's soul tears through Hideki, ripping it out of his form. A portion of Genno's soul stays, a cloud in comparison to the liquid that remained, and obliterates Hideki's. The physical change in Genno was obvious ((see page 20 for pics))
Genno stood, holding himself together, and walked to his companions. "One quest... over. Now to find your relatives... Sam..." Genno sputtered as he dropped to his knees.

Sam ran as fast as she could over to Genno and Kabuto.
"Great job!" She almost started to cry.
"This is unbeleivable! This whole time, we were trying to find Hediki, and now, it's over!"

Genno stood up, shaking from the strain. "Let's head to the wagon, you two are invited..." he started, but couldn't finish talking. He walked over to the door, leaning heavily on his sword.

Sam gave Genno a bottle.
"Here, drink this, it will help you walk."
Sam closed the doors behind her and Genno.

Genno drank the liquid as best as he could, eventually making it down to where Kakashi was "standing guard" with little difficulty. "Yo, Hideki's gone now. Time to repay Amber by helping her with her quest." He said to Kakashi.

Genno apologized profusely and sat on a cushion on the wagon. "Just the whole... soul being gone thing..." He said, hoping that would excuse himself.
