"I'll--" Tsuzuki broke off, only half registering Hisoka's expression and interpreting it as a realization that he, too, was hungry, "have what he's having!" he declared cheerily, perching easily on one of the stools and grinning widely at his partner.

Hao laughed quietly. "Well, Hisoka-kun?" he asked, smiling.
Hisoka swallowed hard and ordered gyoza and ramen, mentally wondering who was out to get him. Once Hao had disappeared into the kitchen, he turned to his partner. "...that's Hao. One of the Circle members," he muttered.

Tsuzuki blinked. The information beat its way into his brain slowly and painfully. When it'd finally managed to nestle itself firmly between his common sense and caution (or what little was left of either), he blinked again. "We're... not actually... going to eat anything he gives us... are we?..." he asked the kitten a bit dully.

Hisoka sighed. "Actually, when they're here, they're under raven's rules-- they have to do as they're told, or else she'll jump down their backs. And they all respect her to an extent, for one reason or another."

Considering exactly how hungry he was, that revelation came with a deep, welcoming relief. It also raised even more questions about raven. For the moment, Tsuzuki rather liked her.
"So what other kinds of shops did raven magically cart over from her Mall?" he asked in an attempt for further light-hearted conversation.

Hisoka shrugged eloquently. "raven does as she pleases. And when it's not a forest... we've seen a moat, a wildfire-- that one kept people inside until Karasu realized the fire doesn't burn you-- a tornado, a mountain... a wall of shadow, a wall of blinding light..."

Tsuzuki nodded cautiously, something setting off warning bells in his head but... he wasn't quite sure what, exactly...
Then it hit him. Back at the Nest, they'd been told Lucius Malfoy, Muraki and Karasu had left nearly an hour before. At least an hour after that, they'd seen Lucius Malfoy, Muraki and Tatsumi leaving the candy shop...
Which left one Circle member unaccounted for.
But a lot could happen in two hours, right? ...Well, yeah. He knew that, knew it well. Still... "She's really sort of eccentric when you get right down to it, isn't she?" he asked brightly, quashing all negative thoughts in one fell swoop.

Hisoka smiled slightly. "She is. But she's not a bad eccentric-- just... a little blind when it comes to her 'Nestlings' and their doings. She's rather determined to save everyone, I think."

Tsuzuki looked at Hisoka with a mock hurt look, "You think I'd call someone eccentric bad?" he demanded jokingly, knowing full well that he himself was quite prone to freaking out over the weird people in life. But, you know, bland was worse a lot of the time.
But... at this point, even without having met her, he was determined to like raven, whether she kept psychopaths in her home or not. Besides, if she could alter her home like she did, it didn't seem a very wise choice not to like her.

"If you want to meet her, you''re welcome to. She''s got a room at the Nest-- which she mainly uses as an office, I think," Hisoka considered.
Hao came back bearing two trays laden with lovely smelling ramen and gyoza, placing them in front of the pair. "Please enjoy~-- call out if you need anything!" he smiled before slipping back to the kitchen.

Tsuzuki thought about it for a moment, somehow managing to stave off hunger as he did so. "Itadakimasu~" he announced after that moment, though still not indulging in the delicious smelling food before them.
"I think I'd like that," he decided finally, few thoughts rumbling into a deep rest. "Then you can meet Jan. She's weird," he added at an after thought, finally picking up the chopsticks and reaching over to steal one of Hisoka's gyoza without even looking at his own.
