::Motoko glared at Shiko, but did not let the young girl see or feel her anger, and with a voice that was still calm and comforting she answered Shiko.::
"Now Shiko, this isn't the time for smart remarks. If you want to make fun of me, do it later because right now, we have a job to do. I would be more than happy to finish this some other time."

*Says to himself:* hehehe...Shiko's changing...i can sense she's much more comfortable around us now...and, despite hostilities against Tomasu's remark, she's becoming less violent towards her friends...I'd be surprised if she actually carries through with that punishment she promised Tomasu...*

::as th group traveled through the burnt city, they found little in the way of people besides burned remains of bodies. The girl remained close to Motoko, keeping her eyes mostly trained on the other woman's arm. The kitty seemed to be snoozing on Shunketsu's head::
::while they searched another building that looked more promising than the other, an arrow whizzed into the ground and exploded next to shiko::

::Shiko turned around quickly towards the direction the arrow came::
"Let's go!"
::Shiko started to run towrds the direction, she did not care what happens to her, she just wanted to finish this mission, she hated watching a dead Village. It is the only pride she has towrds, that and fighting::

phew... sweatdrop thank goodness Shiko wasn't hurt by that explosion...(apparently)...
Shiko! wait up!! It's dangerous running off on your own...!!
*thinks:*stupid clones...they search the area and still couldn't find and tell us about this arrow person....argh...
*runs after Shiko, keeping an eye out for who shot that arrow...*
*meanwhile...one of Shunketsu's clone had spotted Kurai, who was trying to be stealthy...*
clone: Hey! Kurai! the others are up ahead...

::Motoko ran with the girl to a safer place. She did not want her screaming again. Then she tried to keep her calm.::
"You guys go ahead, i will stay here with her unless you need help."

::Shiko continued to run towards the direction when she felt a strong presence. Stopping, she looked back at Shunketsu who was running after her::
"Shunketsu,I can take care of myself, I have for such a long time, but I think I know where they are now and I want to fight to pay them back for trying to hit me with an arrow"

I know you can take care of yourself, but it might be an ambush...we need to stick together to make sure our chances of staying alive are as high as possible...I mean think about it...we're a group of three with Tomasu running off and all and Kurai going solo...and someone shoots ONE arrow at us and misses...and we can perfectly tell where it came from...someone obviously wants us to go after them...
