She barried her face into his chest, forgetting and not even caring about the blood. His voice was so soothing, she immediately stopped shaking as soon as he spoke. ' Lucifer... Don't let go...' She said this because she knew her knees were about to give out. It could have been from the pain, but also from him. She moved her hands on his back, gently placing one higher than the other.
No matter what he said, she knew she was somewhat of a burden to him. She didn't listen to him at all and argued whenever she could. She sighed and opened her eyes. ' I'm sorry...' She wasn't apologizing for this situation, but for all the stress she had put him through.

"Hey, you two." said Rathios over the pile of rubble. "You might want to move away for a moment."
Durithill stepped through his newly opened portal outside the main building and turned to wait for Robin to come through.

As Rathios requested for the both of them to step aside, Lucifer pulled the frail woman aside, keeping his arms around her the entire time. She was sobbing and in pain, there was no way that in a time like this he would simply push her aside. No, not now. "It's alright.." He mumbled soothingly, pulling her aside.

As soon as Rathios thought they were out of the way, he braced himself and aimed one of his arms at the pile of rubbled. There was a blinding flash of light, the sound of a large explosion, and the light faded to reveal the hole where the pile of rubble had once been. The hole and Rathios's hand still glowed faintly from the massive amount of angelic energy unleashed, but the glow slowly faded. "You both alright?" he asked, stepping through.

Elizabeth's eyes shut tightly as she heard the blast. " Lucifer!' She squeaked, her voice frantic. Her grasp grew even tighter around his body. She began to shake again. The noises scared her, and she just wanted to leave... To be alone with Lucifer. She wanted to let out her feelings or anger and sorriness to him, and was unable to do it while their were others around.

Rathios looked around the damaged hallway as if trying to see the damage before turning back to Elizabeth and Lucifer. "You must be the Sikaron then." he said to Elizabeth, walked over to them slowly.

"We're fine.. thanks." The mercenary replied, turning to Rathios as Elizabeth clung him nearly shaking. "Yeah.. that's her.." Lucifer mumbled a bit before averting his gaze back to her, a mess of blonde locks falling over her shoulders and down her back.

" Stop calling me that! I have a first name...' She may be shaken up, but she could defend herself from that. She didn't move from her position against Lucifer, but simply yelled into his chest. Her open hands curled into fists behind Lucifer's back.

"Well I'm technically not alloud to take you into custudy without lady Raine's approval, so you're safe for now." Rathios said, addressing Lucifer. "In the future, don't try to assassinate the only people keeping these realms together."

"You wouldn't understand..." His chest rumbled like thunder from growl, remembering what he came here to do originally. "Is she the only person you people can place your faith in? To keep these worlds together, you need people to co-operate, not a single force conreolling matters.." The mercenary mumbled, feeling Elizabeth's hands curl into fists through anger from being called by her last name..

She still didn't know the reason why Lucifer had attempted to kill Raine, and she wouldn't ask him. It was his business, and if he didn't tell her she took it as though he didn't wnat her to know, so it wasn't her place to ask. Very descreatly she nuzzled her cheek against the mercenary's chest. She hoped to comfort him a little by doing this.

"Everyone co-operates well enough except for the demons and the angels, that is why we were created. We regulate interactions between the demons and angels and we arbitrate, but we do not controll." Rathios said, shaking his head slightly. "Trying to take us down will do nothing but destroy the worlds. It's really too bad. You were one of the people I was considering for a position with us." he said before turning to walk away.

"I'd never want to join something like this!" The mercenary hissed as Rathios spun around. "This is just some.. fake kind of hope that everyone is hanging onto for dear life. "Is that all that you think we have? Hope? Why not actually trying to do something instead of sitting around here.. commanding people does nothing.."

"Even as we speak, our numbers are dwindling. More and more work is coming to us, and we can do less and less. Put if you think we do nothing, then you are sadly mistaken." Rathios said over his shoulder. "Did you think it was coincidence that we met? Do you think Durithill asked the Sikaron those questions for no reason? I'd beware, mercenary. We're doing everything we can to prevent it, but you two alone could start a war between the angelic and demonic realms."

Hearing her sister's cold response, a frown pressed to Elva's lips as her eyes darted away. She was fine; she really was. Yes, a little shaky, but nothing serious. "Really Shiero, I'm fine... you don't have to worry about me." Elva's words formed on the top of her tongue, fluently rolling out of her mouth and into the air. She sighed silently. "--Really Shiero, I don't want to be a burden. So after him." Elva's voice faded away as she kept her attention span on the blank, wall wall in front of her, biting down upon her lip. Knowing how persistent and motherly and stubborn her sister was, Elva wondered if Shiero had even listened to a wink of Elva's advice.
