Duskfeather's heather eyes lit with fear. She sniffed Lazyeye's flank. She could hardly see, but she could smell. She nudged the elder gently. "Lazyeye..." She whispered softly in his ear.
Showerstar clamped his teeth in the badger on top of him's leg. The badger cried in surprise, and another joined. The Two Badger's covered the clan leader. Showerstar was overwhelmed by the reek, he couldn't see anything. He felt something rake deeply in his side, and he went numb. Everything was silent....

Lazyeye flinches a little, and is only able to let out a tiny mew. His head reels painfully, and the area around him is soaked in blood.

"Lazyeye, oh please Lazyeye. It's me, Duskfeather." The soft gray warrior mewed. She couldn't stand the sight of the Elder. Her heart pounded. There's blood everywhere...
Stars surrounded The leader as he tried to move. Sitting up, Starclan gazed right at him. "You've Lost a Life." Echoestar's voice sliced through the silence. Showerstar looked down on his body, which the Badgers now left. Showerstar felt angry. "How could I have been so weak..." He mumured under his breath. "You gave your life for your Clan. That's what Leaders do. Now go." Echoestar Ordered. Showerstar opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out...

The brown furred elder twitches the tip of his tail, aknowledging her presence and to show that he was still fighting. Trying.

Tears flooded through Duskfeather's eyes. She felt so helpless. There was nothing...nothing she could do...she was usesless... Think...Think...cob webs. She had to stop the bleeding. "I'll be back" She meowed. She turned and raced through camp, avoiding Badgers. Suddenly Showerstar caught her eye.... the leader was dead. She had no time for him, though.... Grabbing cob webs, she raced back to Lazyeye.. "I'm back." She whispered. She placed cobwebs on his deep, bleeding wounds, trying not to hurt him.
Showerstar woke to find the horrible reek of Badger in his nostrils, and mouth. Along with the scent of death. The Leader struggled to his feet, dazed, he tried to clear his head.

Lazyeye involuntarialy flinches as the warrior touches his wounds, but does nothing more. Concentrating on his breathing, concentrating on trying to stay alive. 'I dont want to join Starclan......Not yet.'

Duskfeather could do nothing more, she knew nothing of Medicine. She stood near Lazyeye, she wouldn't let anything hurt him more than he already was.
Showerstar rose and limped forward, and suddenly a Badger lumbered before him. Showerstar growled, and with his all his strength, lunged at the badger and clamped his teeth right in the badger's muzzle, full jaw force.

Dapplestream slowly began to dab cobwebs onto her wound, since it wasn't too serious.

The badger under the clan leader lets out a pain filled yowl and, after giving its self a helpless shake, rockets into the forest, the last of the badgers to leave, the camp behind them damaged and reaking of the stinking animals.

Dapplestream had just finished cleaning her wound, when she returned w/ the rest of her clanmates to the camp, she realized how much damage was done. I can't believe this happened.

Showerstar spat blood out of his mouth, the foul taste of badger wouldn't leave. He limped forward, tired. But he had to be strong, for his clan. "I want everyone that is fit to walk, to gather here, if they can." He meowed, he felt his legs become weak beneath him, as if they were to give way.
Duskfeather looked down on Lazyeye, she didn't know what to do. She couldn't leave him...He needed help...fast...
Showerstar struggled to lift his head. "Where is Lotusleaf, Whitewind, and Silentcloud?" The Leader questioned.

Dapplestream limbed over to where her leader was and looked for whitewind. A look of concern came across her face. Whitewind. Please be alright.

There is a rustle in the bushes near the camp entrance, loud enough for even Lazyeye to hear. 'Not more badgers' he thought helplessly, straining to get his body to cooperate and move. He fails and just lays silently, listening as well as he can. There is another rustle, this time louder than before and three figures take form from the gloom. One of them is Lotusleaf, lead low and limping badly on his left side. Beside him, the dark figure of his deaputy also limps a little, a nasty cut above his eye, making it almost swell shut. Between them, dirty and dusty is a limp white body, fur turned brown and red and paws dragging on the ground lifelessly. The two moving warriors pad slowly into camp sorrowfully and gently lay the senoir cat down.

Dapplestream's eyes went blank as she saw the limb white body belonged to Whitewind "w....what happened? w....whitwind.....whitewind.....no....." She felt tears well up in her eyes as she nudged her nose into the tom's cold, limb body. She looked up at the two warriors. "are you both alright?" She looked at them with concern.
