Kibo: Suit yourself. I think I still have some jerky belowdecks, so I'll stay with that.

Kibo: It's just my moral standings on cannibalism. Pillaging? Fine. Murder? Fine. But eating other people? That's a bit too creepy for me. Especially because I'll be having the body's spirit bugging me later about it.

Kibo: It's their choice. Some spirits just find it oh-so-fun to bother the hell out of me, rather than pass on.

Kibo: Trying to "nudge" a spirit means taking it into your own body and pretty much shooting it out, into oblivion. And spirits who have a strong... well, spirit, have a tendency to keep themselves in the host's body. That's how that drunk Antolino earned a stay in my body. I was weaker back then, and couldn't expel his spirit.

"What if said spirit were to be put into another body, such as a doe's. Could it then be sent on?"

Kibo: It's pretty difficult to force a spirit into another person or animal's body. The easiest way, of course, would be runes, but people aren't really fond of having runes carved into their skin. The way I used to tie spirits to things would work, but they have to stay in the rune circle for the entire duration of the spell, and that would be difficult for an unwilling soul.

[Holy cow! I'm sexy! xd ] Ranu gave a quiet laugh, then said "They're going to be spiritually knackered aftered all this life then death then life then dying again. I almost feel sorry for them." Giving a strech that fluttered his long coat, then ran a hand through his now long hair. "Where'd that Portugese ship go?"

"The splinters are now floating somewhere over there, I think."
Storm fluttered her hand towards the north.
((I thought you'd like that. mrgreen And at least you can't be mistaken for a women, like Kibo.))

[If I looked like that, I'd spend half my life looking in the mirror. xd ]
Glancing out, Ranu raised an eyebrow. "And I was looking forward to a good slaughter," he replied, then frowned, "Not to meantion some of the money their captains always carry. Not as much as the Don's [Spanish] But still quite a bit."

Kibo: It's hard enough concentrating on keeping the runes from messing up. I don't need to have to worry about keeping another spirit in existance. If you've noticed, I've never had other spirits summoned when I'm tying spirits like that. Even though it's only a minor nuisance, the slightest thing can distract someone enough to break the spell, and that's usually not good.

"Have you tried it with another set of runes? Or with someone else, say a priest, to hold the runes together?"
Storm turned to Ranu.
"There's some survivors down in the hold. Kill a few if your blood lust calls for it."
