wow, you guys already chose pieces for 06? We've yet to get another drum major or do section leader hearings. Those don't happen until April for us, so marching band kinda stays low for a few months until April.
Heh heh, Key Poulan. Have fun with that. The guy is biased against woodwinds, all we ever get is runs and hard sixteenth rhythms mixed with fast tempos and high notes.

our show for the 2005-06 school year was called "marching band for dummies," which you *MAY* have heard of... o, and unlike what *SOME* xp other schools thought stressed , our director came up with the show idea on his own - he did NOT buy it. it was a pretty awesome biggrin show. I think I have a link for it (I HOPE) if ya'll wanna watch or hear it

Our band did "Visions of Frank Lloyd Wright," to Arron Copeland's 3rd. Our worst year ever, 3rd in BOA Regionals. It needed to be first.
FROSTPROOF!

Our '05 Show was Perspectives: Looking at life from a different direction. It consisted of music from Wicked: What is this Feeling?, No Good Deed, For Good, and Defying Gravity (in order). We placed 1st in ACCs Group III Invitational, and won all the special awards except Best Music.
Next Year is The Divine Comedy, in which I hope to be DM. <3
