This game a little too much for you to handle? she taunted, sending a glance to Hedon as she bounced to the last little combination before the song ended. She let herself rest against the bar behind her a moment, eyeing the boy. Would you like to pick the next one, then? she asked, her eyes still examining him in a competitive, 'Let me eat your heart' manner.

Hedon rolled his eyes some, choosing a song he enjoyed very much. "Paranoia?", he asked her in both a taunting and suggestive manner before shuffling over to it and selecting the song. Hedon blew a kiss to the girl before grinning a menacing smile and turning his attention to the screen.

Hotari nodded, pleased with the selection but waited until the screens changed to starting before positioning herself on the platform. Back home, her brother owned so many of these that she'd become quite skilled with all of them - this was going to be a piece of cake. You know, you're really quite appealing...she giggled, sending Hedon a glance as she bounced and turned with the arrows, her boots dropping quick on the pads, her bracelets jingling with her movements.

"Appealing?", he asked hopping around his own pad as the arrows rolled up the screen. "What do you mean?", he asked her. Hedon grinned, knowing he'd win this round. He liked Hotari, and though she could probably beat him without his help, he thought he'd step off his pad during the 3rd round, only momentarily of course.

Exactly what I said of course! Hotari laughed, shaking her head as she sensed his silly little plan. She was almost urged to stick his feet in place via a simple charm, but decided rather to let him do as he wished, be it let her win or distract her so he himself could prove victorious. You're easy on the eyes, and I think that you and I should be seen together. Her grin grew, but she kept her eyes on the screen rather than looked to him, for fear her cheeks might match her dresses shortly.

"Is that so?", he asked as he moved his feet to the last bit of the second round. "Here I was thinking I'd be better off unseen", he said grinning some. "Though, I've learned never to argue with a lady", he said. "Will you do the honors this time?", he asked her his wings fluttering some.

Nobody is better off 'unseen'. Hotari told Hedon, almost in a scolding manner. But yes, I'll do the honors of picking a song to whoop you with! she laughed, shaking her head as she tried not to admire the boy too obviously.

Hedon chuckled waiting for the woman's selection. "Oh hush you", he insisted, watching his reflection in her granny-apple colored eyes.

Hotari giggled lightly as Hedon watched himself in her eyes, and she felt her heart melt a little. She shook her head to keep the feeling from pushing at her, and selected the most difficult song she could find on the system. She grinned to Hedon some and pressed start, poising herself on the paddles again. Here we go!

Hedon danced along with the beginning of the song with ease, chuckling some to himself before stepping off the pad for a brief couple moments, in hopes Hotari wouldn't notice. Before long he trodding back onto the pad, keeping up with it once more, grinning to himself.

Hotari didn't notice, luckily enough for Hedon, as her eyes were glued to the screen since she'd slighlty overestimated her memory for this selection.

Hedon chuckled as the game ended and the music stopped. Breathing heavily for a moment he caught his breath and turned to Hotari.

Nayomi-chan Xinian only smile when she took another fish stick and crossed his arms on the table, leaning his head down on them. His tail twitched behind him, keeping in time to the music coming off the nearby DDR machine.
"She didn't know how to cook at all? What did she do then? Microwave dinners?" Shaking her head, she laughed. "No, she tried to make a casserole of some type in the oven and it exploded. Papa did all the cooking after that..." Foot tapping along with the music coming from the dance machine as well, Gissy looked in that direction with a faint hint of longing. "Well, he did all the cooking until I was old enough to help."

Xinian tried not to pay too much attention to the music, knowing full well that he wasn't a good dancer. "That's kind of a shame. I had a bowl of soup explode on me once but it was because the pot I was cooking it in wasn't of good quality. Kinda messy and it shook me up but I didn't stop cooking totally after that..."
He grinned at her. "But hey, if it helped you to be a better cook for helping then it can't be all that bad can it?"
((And as a side note, yes that did happen to me))

Hotari glanced to Hedon and smiled, tilting her head to the boy as she placed her hands on her hips. Winded, so soon? What good are you going to be to me? she giggled, shaking her head as she pulled herself up to sit on the support bar behind her, the toe of her boot propped against the platform to keep her in place while she waited for their scores to tally up.
