Hey... I used to have to take my sibblings out trick or treating up till I was 19.... I'd rather have sat at home and watched movies while handing out candy...

Prowling around for candy in the night is fun, though. I'll certainly miss my trick-or-treating years. I remember one year my sister got sick & couldn't trick-or-treat, so I collected as much candy as I possibly could & divided it between us. It's a good thing my neighbors knew I had a sister, otherwise they'd probably think I was scamming free candy. I didn't get much extra candy, but it didn't matter because we got a lot of candy anyway. One year, we got so much we filled our pillowcases half full. Not bad for one neighborhood.

I remember a year where my brother got scared... and he jumped 3 feet into the air....
but anyhow.... It's not so much fun when you go trick-or-treating in the snow.... sweatdrop

Ooh, that would suck, unless you went as a polar bear or an eskimo. It's gotten chilly at Halloween, but snow is hardly ever a problem below the Mason Dixon. Of course, there is the matter of those Heaven Houses in the Bible Belt. A person can pass 7 or 8 on one road. I believe Strong Sad from Homestarrunner.com can best summarize it:
"Did any of you go to that house full of people in black robes who ask you questions about life & existance & if you get it wrong, you get eternal damnation, but if you get it right, you get a Twizzler?"

Most likely your nearest Protestant church, possibly of the Southern Baptist persuasion.
