(( Teehee~! Thoth it is! I've yet to use him ^^ ))
Despite the weather outside that anyone would find most unpleasent, it was cold.. raining and most miserable; perfection. Through the hot summers and mild springs the many odd cold blooded anthro had to hide inside, the winters and falls were their oly escape from the inside to the outside world. However it had been such a long and terrible summer that most anthro dared to brave the outside anyways. The ones that could anyway. A crack in the door and creak of the old wood lurked out around the hollowed wooded area about a run down house. Walls tarnished with moss and roof covered in small plants living from the slight dampness of the shaded trees around, a classic woodland home for a hermet. A pair of soft almost pastel light green eyes peered out into the dark weathered woods around orm the dimly lit inside. He'd not ventured out since he was a boy, and even then his overly protective father kept him close by. These woods were still a mystery to him. Forcing the door inwards even more to slip his upper body out in a leaning peek, bare and pale against long black locks that clung so gently to his lower back and ribs. Even the gentle long bangs of crimson did well to accent the navy blue demonic wings perched against his head and bring about the many odd colors of the male in a simple melody. A smile slowly creeping over his amazingly lush lips, a bold move presented itself to expose the male's true form. A long lower half of crimson and black in a wonderous slick and silky like scale melody that was snake and large black dragon wings that were far from small. Not an average being like the others, he stood out far too much. Maybe why his father kept him away from the others. The rain was too blissful, to wonderful. It made the serpent blood in him boil with excitement. Forcing his body out with a gentle slither of his long body, he joined with the earth's floor and stopped to soak it all in. Eyes hidden by his lids as he drew in a deep breath and tilted his head back, letting the bits of rain that escaped the tree tops trickle over his face and bare body. Intoxicating, just pure lust between his heart and the cold bitter bite of nature. Lowering his head slightly, those soft green hues came to be again as he glanced into the woods slightly to see something move past in the distance. Pure curiosity got the best of im seeing as how it looked human.. but somthing was off. Pushing past his safety of the clearing and venturing into the woods slowly, he moved silently and swiftly after the figure in the distance. Before long he found himself completely lost as well, and only getting more nervous by the moment by the endless track of this being. But when words slipped out along the trees and a femanine voice rang gently through his pointed ears, the thin brow perked on his pale face. She was cold? Did he hear that right? Perched slightly a few yards back into the tree line away from this being, who he couldn't quite make out completely... he watched in a state fo stilness and curiosity.

Long sun kissed equine like ears shot up, removing them selves from their previous place upon their beholder's head, they swiveled and twitched, listening to all the mysterious sounds around them, the sound of the wind as it weaved in and out of the trees, leaves and branches scratching together from the force of the wind, the sound of the rain as it hit against the earth, so loud it was to the women that rested against the old and battered trunk of the aged willow tree, well if you could call her a women though, she wasn't exactly human, not quite, to many she'd be called a centaur, yes that's right a centaur. upper body of a human and a lower half of a horse, quite beautiful creatures really. The reason it seemed so loud was the amount of time she had been out in this weather, it was enough to make you mad, but luckily she was still going strong, though probably not for much longer, who knows if she would collapse from the cold? Though she was a strong one and would try her best at keeping on her four feet, she wasn't about to give up, heck no, she'd put up a fight.
Orchid orbs scanned the area around her once more, squinting to try and pint point as much detail as possible, trying to look for any abnormal disturbances in the scenery. Though to be honest she couldn't really tell, what with the rain making most things seem like a blur, but things seemed pretty much normal, she hoped they were normal at least, they probably were, but who knows.
Taking a deep breath, she winced, it stung her lungs like burning your finger while cooking, she knew that the air was cold, but she didn't realize that is was that cold, she'd make sure to keep her breathing to short breaths, that way it wouldn't hurt as much, well she hoped. She pushed herself up from the ground, first forelegs and then her hind-legs, her long golden tail whipping and thrashing, a normal reaction it had when something touched her rump, even though it was only rain, and she knew that but somehow it was as if her tail had a mind of it's own and seemed to just react as if a fly had landed upon her, stupid tail. Pushing herself forward she began to walk again, lifting her, slender things up delicately to push the long branches out of her way in order for her to walk through and back out to the worst of the weather, the reason for returning from the 'safety' of the willow was that, it wasn't actually really safe and wasn't that good for shelter either, in fact it pretty much sucked, a lot, so she had decided that searching for a real shelter would be best, rather than catching her death, which most likely she had caught a while ago.
Turning her upper half to the side, she gazed behind her, squinting her eyes once more as she gazed at the dense forest behind her, was something there? Or was it just her eyes playing tricks on her? It wouldn't matter if she had a look would it now? Well not really anyway. So that's what she did, slowly and steady she turned herself around, her tail trying to whip and trash at anything that hit her rump, though failing quite miserably, the weight of the water holding it down, her long, once wavy locks were quite straight, sticking to her face, back and arms, a rather miserable sight indeed. No matter that wasn't a problem at the moment, in fact it was the last thing on her mind, right now she was set on checking if there was anything in the foliage, but what would she do if there was, would she run? Or confront? She'd most likely confront, she wasn't one who ran away from things, though running away was what she probably should do most of the times, oh well.
A she came closer to the bushes she stopped, about four feet away, she pushed her bangs from her eyes, clearing her vision some more in order to scan the area in front of her, at first she couldn't quite make much out until she began to define a few things, a silhouette like shape of what seemed to be a man, but not fully a man, half creature like her, at first she could only make out his large wings that stood proudly behind him, but as she began to pay more attention she noticed the long, almost silky looking snake like tail that began a few inches below his belly button, but what Alexandra was drawn to most was his beautiful milky jade green eyes, so pure, so enchanting they were, like pools of pastel green that you could swim in. Quickly she shook her head, returning to reality, her ears pointed forwards, toward the male, along with Alexandra's hand, this act was more in impulse than anything ells, she didn't really know what she was doing, but she did it anyway. Reaching out her hand towards him she tilted her head slightly to the side, her lips parting as she spoke softly ''Are you ok? You must be cold, I wont hurt you, do you need help?'' Her words were like soft, sweet honey, rather odd for Alexandra, she was usually a moody mare, but something about this male seemed to bring out a little of the best in her, plus she wanted to help him, if he was lost, though not much that she could do seeing as she was lost herself, which wasn't that good for helping people, stupid impulse.

Sooner then the serpent dragon hybrid suspected, the female began to move. She moved like water though a stream, smooth and calm. What truely caught the male by suprise was the sheer fact that she was a half bodied anthro much like himself... but the far more unique thing about her wasn't that she was part snake, which generally was the case, but part horse. Her sweet features so dunny in the dullness of the weather. Rain staining suck beautiful hair and flesh in a shameful manner. It nearly broke his heart to see such a warm weathered creature in this rain and cold. Her extended hand and slender digits directed to him just as that angelic voice was, it made his pale flesh tighten into goosebumps as he moved slowly from the tree to face her more properly. He didn't feel shy oddly enough around this four legged being with his, well, one leg? If that. His warm lgiht green orbs focused deeply in her own, he almost felt too choked to talk. Large wings dropped form their stong pose into a limp rest against the wet woodland floors. Such a proud being so left in awe, like a kid watching fireworks in silence. His lips parting slightly as he finally dropped his eyes from her's in haste. It wasn't polite to gawk. "I'm not the kind of thing you should ask that to. I'm wondering the same however for you." His gentle voice was still youthful and yet had the hint of wisdom in the amount of base that rolled with his tone. "Normally us cold blooded are accustomed to such weather, however... you seem not to fit in this scenery." He muttered on nervously. It was bad enough she was the first female he'd talked to, but why did she have to be so perfectly flawed like him? Two perfectly different beings, completely unlike others... it was an odd twist of fate it seemed, but he wouldn't read into anything. Sure she was beautiful and all... but he was a slimy looking winged cold blooded creature to her sunny and very warm... beautiful warm blooded, gah! he was ranting in his head and letting his manners get away from him. "I know it's sudden, but you'll get sick and I don't think you know this area very well." Same went for him sadly enough. He had no idea where he'd tracked off to. "Would you like to come back to my home? It's not much, but it's warm." Such kindness lined his offer. He couldn't imagine how it felt for her out here.

She stared in awe as he came closer, his movement without flaw, so smooth, as if he were gliding across the ground, which technically he was in a way. His long raven black hair, so smooth and perfect, his long crimson red bangs complimented it well. His skin looked so smooth, a beautiful milky cream, his scales like a thousand, maybe more, ruby and onyx shining gems. But what seemed to take her breath away the most was his eyes, so pure, so brilliant, so soft and kind, wait what? What was she thinking? Shaking her head she quickly returned to reality, hoping that she hadn't day dreamed off for more than a few seconds. Her ears swiveled about once more, one pointing towards the male and the other pointed behind. She was rather taken aback as he replied to her, she didn't really expected him to reply, so this was a plus, right? But what really caught her off guard was his voice, such a kind and gentle voice he was graced, along with many other things, but his voice was so heart warming to Alexandra, it sent the odd tingle cascading down her spine. She quickly pulled her hand back, gripping it with her other hand as she continued to listen to him, once finished she ponder on what he had said, an answer quickly coming to her lips ''Your not a thing, and well I'm not in the best predicament at the moment, as you can see, rather wet, and cold.'' She sighed, looking down at herself, gliding her hands across the shoulders of her lower horse half, water droplets flinging off and onto the ground, only for more rain to soak up that same part once more.
A slow irritated sigh escaped her thin lips, but she shook it off, no matter it was only a bit of water, well a lot of water really, a heck load of water ''No not really, I don't fit well with this sort of weather, mainly summer or dry winter days, I don't mind the cold then, it's just the rain, coming down on you like knives, but oh well.'' She chuckled at herself, brushing her hand down her other arm, flicking the water from it, but as you could guess that act had no point, more water would just soak that same spot. Her eyes shifted from the ground to him, from him to behind him, only briefly would she look at time, that was the odd thing about her, she found it hard to look at people she had just met, and therefore put up a moody guard, but somehow the guard had melted away, and just left her not being able to look at him, sadly.
Both ears pointed towards him as he began to speak once more, she slowly nodded as she listened to each word, a feeling of heat running to her cheeks, dammit, there was no way she was going to let herself blush, I mean he was just being nice, going to help her get dry and provide shelter was all, yeah that was it, nothing ells, of course! Biting her lip the feeling of heat disappeared almost instantly from her cheeks, releasing a sigh of relief, a small smile creeping upon her features as she nodded once more ''Really? You don't mind? Well no not really, I'm rather new here, so this area is pretty alien to me, you are to kind to a stranger, but to get better acquainted, my name is Alexandra, and you? Oh also, feel free to lead the way, but I have to ask again, are you sure this is ok?'' She said, moving her hand out towards him, offering a handshake, she hesitated a few times, wondering it he'd mind a hand shake or not, because not all people liked them, for some odd reason. Her hand shook in a shiver as she awaited the handshake, though not just her hand shivered, her whole body was, slowly the cold was getting to her, but she wouldn't show it, she was trained to be strong, a fighter in fact, so no rain was going to conquer her, no matter how much she felt like falling down and just laying there, peaceful and resting.

It was almost as if He'd once again forgotten all about the cold sitnging pitter rain droplettes that stained his flesh and scales. Eyes locked still so powerfully to this amazing creature of light, following each twist and movement of her lush lips as if they themselves were hypnotizing. Such a melody of her almost shivering voice and the rain itself was completely overwhelming to the demonic serpent. However, his well expression of comfort shifted as the words she spoke finally sunk into his think head. "Excuse me miss? I'm sorry... I just.." Well now he felt like an idiot. The whole time she'd been confiding in him with simple words and he was just silent, still and dumb as a log. "I couldn't help but just... stare. It's nothing of the offending type, as you can tell I have no room to do so." He chuckled. Turning his body sideways slightly, the base of his serpent being remaining planted as he contorted his figure. Large black wings giving one small flick to shift the water drops from the thick leather like flesh that clung so tight to the bone. There was almost no telling what the hell type of creature he truely was, horns, two different sets and colored wings, long serpent body but the figure of a man. One thing was apparent, at least he was gentle. Slender paper white hand reached out coaxingly towards her own to take a soft grasp to it for a brief moment before he pulled the equestrine towards him smoothly with the lead of her own hand to place a small kiss atop the warm and almost dizzy inducing flesh of the back of her tan hand. Almost as if he kissed the sun itself wih that fragile hand, he was amazingly not all that cold or rough, but smooth. "Thoth. A pleasure to meet you Alexandra" He smiled and let her hand slip smoothly from his own before he guestured off towards the last known area he'd recalled coming from. "Sorry if I'm not too familiar either... cold blooded creatures dont' tend to wander out too often around these times." He snickered gently. "But I would hate for your health to fail because your beauty has me so dumb-founded that I forgot to protect it" Such bold honesty. Things he learned from his father no doubt.

She quickly silenced herself, only the sound of the beating rain filled the air, the reason she hushed herself was to gaze at the snake like male in front of her, just watching his expression as he stood quietly looking at her, was something wrong? Did she look odd? Or was it something completely different? She didn't know, but hoped it was the latter. Yet she still couldn't help but wonder what it was, once the silence was broken she got her answer, a soft chuckle escaping her slender, mocha hued lips, a smile overcoming her features ''It's perfectly fine, I often stare at times also, but I try not to, but sometimes you can't help but stare, oh no need to call me miss, Alexandra's fine really.'' She said with a reassuring nod, her eyes trailing down to her ivory like hooves, watching as she slowly tore at the ground with her left hoof, she wasn't really aware at what she was doing, it was like her lower half had a mind of it's own, rather odd really, but she was sure others like her had problems like that, right?
As the male began to move, she couldn't help but stare at him herself, watching each elegant, twisting movement. Her eyes trailed up and down his figure, from his long ruby and onyx scaled tail, to his pale, almost fragile looking skin, up to his gentle face, enchanting pure eyes, long silky locks of crimson and jet, such a pity to see it so drenched, yet it still held it's beautiful gleam. What took her attention away from, well him was when he reached out and took her hand within his own, soft and gentle hand, not as cold as she thought it would be, rather warm in fact, yet probably it might have been her own body heat that heated his hand, but whatever, she currently didn't care about that, her mind had been taking over by his action, a sudden warmth filling her cheeks, watching as his lips began to get closer and closer to the top of her hand, then finally they touched, such an odd feeling she felt at that moment, quite like a heck load of butterflies fluttering about within her stomach, as well as a lump forming within her throat, very odd, well for her anyway it was, not a feeling she normally felt with anyone, so odd to her how this action by this particular, well stranger did this to her, but she liked it. It was only when he began to talk again she was able to speak once more ''Oh my, Thoth? Egyptian origin if I'm correct? Maybe a god from what I've heard, but if not correct me if I'm wrong, quite a different name, it suits you very well, the pleasures all mine, really, your currently my hero.'' She said smiling, with a small nod, her eyes slowly lifting from her hand, that was still within his hold, back up to him.
She watched as he began to move towards the direction he, most likely had came from, ready to go she began to follow, ears swerving forward to take note of what he began to say ''It's perfectly fine, I bet we'll find your home.'' Giving another reassuring not, so out of character she was acting, normally she wouldn't be so open around people she had just met. but Thoth was different, she could tell, woman's intuition and all ''My health? My you are looking after me Sir.'' She grinned, up to him, such a nice man he was indeed, someone Alexandra would gladly befriend. Once again she was caught off guard by his next few words, beauty? Did he really think she was beautiful? Of course she wasn't, he was probably just being nice, after all, who likes half equine beings anyway? ''Beauty, oh my, not really, I'm far from it, I mean you are rather enchanting, well enchanting is a rather girlie word for a man, how about wonderfully handsome? Sounds alright to me.'' She said nervously, pondering on whether she wasn't being so bold as to have said that, oh well, all she could do was wait and see.

Walking around frantically, she searched for somewhere that'd possibly look familiar to her, 'darned that chi, flinging me into this place, now if I could just-' her thoughts were interrupted as she tripped over her own feet. Getting up, she then brushed her dress down so that it'd look just as it was before she had hit the floor. After the last time she had been out, she'd become a lot better and more accepting of herself, however, her clumsy habits were still there. Grumbling a bit at how that certain habit just wouldn't fade, Ishtar then continued her walk around this strange and mysterious place. Hopefully, she'd find someone that could keep her company, or perhaps entertain her, in fact the last time that she went out was such a while ago, that she had practically forgotten how to socialize.

(( woot! I feel popular! <3 Kasuka's posting is in red and Thoth will be purple. 3nodding ))
So poised and calm, her small ticks didn't even register to him as she made actions she couldn't control. If anything he was amazed he didn't pay any mind to his own, the twitch of his long tail, wings and the small blue ones atop his head. All things they both could understand were just unhelpable. turning his body slowly, he finally let his eyes fall from her own, not making any mention to her genuine reaction to the soft kiss he bestowed upon that warm hand. But being spoken of as a hero, made him chuckle lightly. "A serpent Demon hybrid in shinin armor, eh?" He laughed more at the idea. Not something he could very well imagine, walking around in glorious armor and all.. well, walking at all if that. A smile almost permanently placed on his lips, he couldn't help but draw one in to hide under his right sharp fang. He was so amused with the idea it almost passed over those long pointed ears what other almost haunting comments she'd make about him. "Beautiful? Me? Hah." He cackled more and stopped mid-slither in the direction towards the house. Hand planted firmly against a moist moss covered trunk of a tree, he turned those almost glowing hues back to glance at her from under the crimson sheets of wet bangs that hid his face. "Lies can be told easily, but take from a stranger that a simple one as a compliment towards beauty should never be taken lightly. Though we're both different and see ourselves as anything but, at least let us agree that I think you're beautiful and amazingly unique, where as I am a devil in man and serpent's flesh." He took a deep breath and pressed onwards, his hands lightly planting on any tree to graze near them. Suddenly he drew back a bit to let her beside him as his large black wing casted out over head to block the cold rain from further damaging her warmth. "You're like a fragile flame from the very sun itself, you know... you should be so lucky Alesandra." He spoke softly as he persued onwards, making an even pace with her as to keep her as dry as possible, however, not returning his gaze after his last statement. He insulted himself after telling her that she shouldn't.. but a creature as lovely as her compaired to a cold blooded thing like him was worth praise in his eyes. He was envious already.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
A most fitting setting for the black raven being, a limp figure of crimson and black hanging in a tree, legs sprawled weakly amongst the limbs like he was the very tree itself, cold crimson eyes focused up into the deepened green leaves with cold content through the thick white spiked bangs that hid the rest of his face that his large crimson scarf didn't. Hands resting gently and folded against the center of his bare bosom, a deep sigh pressing the ahrd metal armoring into his flesh harder and harder with each breath. The suffocating feeling didn't matter, he already felt dead inside from all the mental punnishment he'd endured from such a long time of being without anyone. His sister, his only love... they both left him. A miserable mess and excuse for an assassin at best in this state, he didn't even realize the feline he'd once befriended walking so close by benteath him. Head falling limply to the side and wings shedding their midnigh kissed feathers to the floor like leaves beneath, he made no attempt to even adjust his nearly slipping weapons from their straps. He truely felt himself slipping for the worst causes. However, should it really bother him? Should the loss of love and family kill him this badly? Ouka didn't care for him like that in the end and it was so long ago... was it worth holding onto when he was stronger then that? All thoughts that played hard in his head as he remained still and silent, a dead bird to the world.

((Tee hee *luffles Eli* ->v<-))
Having feathers fall upon her head as well as all around her, Ishtar looked up and blinked in confusion as to why feathers would fall upon her head. Looking past a few branches through the tree, however, would serve it's purpose as behind them lay seemingly depressed Kasuka. A little worried about the current state that he was in, Ishtar carefully climbed up, hands reaching for sturdy enough branches to support her weight. She got as high as she could, just a few branches down, she didn't wanna get too high where her clumsy self would allow her to fall so she hugged the tree for support as she looked up at her old friend while calling out to him and saying "Hey~ Kasuka~ How're you doin' up there?"

((x3.))
A thin brow perked as the serpent like man chuckled, what was so funny? She was being perfectly serious, oh well, she couldn't help but smile at his cheerfulness on such a dreary day, it helped her forget about the cold and the rain, amazing really ''It could happen, all you really need is this.'' She grinned, lightly tapping upon the teal and silver armor that hugged her right shoulder, breast and around her waist ''And maybe a few other things but eh.'' She said with a light shrug, the sudden image of Thoth in battle armor causing the female to smile more, such a nice image it was indeed, a tall proud serpent demon hybrid adorned with glorious armor, protecting people from harm, a very very nice image indeed. Soon the equine female realized she had begun to daydream, shaking her head, she chuckled nervously, how odd she must have looked at that moment, completely out of it.
She blinked at what he had to say next, rather surprised at his reaction ''But you are, why can't you see that? That's what confuses me sometimes with others, at how they can't see the beauty they behold, such an enchanting person you are Thoth, please take my word for it, for I say every word I mean.'' As she finished her words she let out a soft sigh, rather confused at why he thought himself to be anything but beautiful, for he was beautiful, well to Alexandra anyway he was, so different, so unique to her, and so kind, how could he not be beautiful? She didn't see it, she could only see the best in him ''A devil in man and serpent's flesh? Hardly.'' She shook her head, he may be of demon blood but he acted nothing of the such! ''Would a devil have helped me through this predicament I currently am in? No I doubt it, so there it's settled, you are of nothing of the kind.'' She grumbled, an irritated frown overcoming her features, arms folding across her chest, yet that irritated look only lasted for a minute or two, for she couldn't hold it, not with him at least ''Please just take my word for it, please?'' She spoke softly and quietly, just hoping that he'd understand the way that she saw him, rather than what he thought he was.
Her eyes slowly shifted towards the ground as she followed him on, only to have him slow himself down to glide next to her, looking up she blinked, why could she no longer feel the rain upon her body? Shifting her eyes above herself, they fell upon a large leather like midnight wing, that seemed to be sheltering her from the harsh element ''Oh my, Thoth you really don't need to do this, it wouldn't be fare, I mean your getting all wet while I'm dry.'' She sighed, shifting her upper half slightly to the side to face him, concern overcoming her features, why was he doing this? Was the question that filled Alexandra's mind, yet also she wondered if his wings felt of how they looked, like leather. Slowly and hesitantly she reached up towards the wing that sheltered her, stopping midway a few time yet continuing, then placing one by one long mocha finger upon the wing, then at last the palm of her hand, so different it felt against her skin, rather like leather, but softer, such a lovely sensation it was against her hand. Not wanting to offend she quickly drew her hand back to her chest, turning her head to look away towards the vast, green, almost alien forest.
Long ears perked and swerved towards the male as he began to speak once more, taking in each and every word he spoke, a flame? From the sun? Hardly, maybe her fur or hair was the only thing that reminded anyone of the sun, but that was it, anything ells, nothing special, as to why he described her of such was a mystery to the female. She slowly shook her head as she continued onwards next to him, eyes plastered upon the earth they walked on ''A fragile flame huh? Thanks but really I'm not..'' She sighed, another sigh escaping her lips. After that she thought it'd be best to keep her mouth shut, after all she thought she had probably outspoken enough.

He remained silent and worked his way through the trees with confidence now. He could still smell his trail through the rain, which was very helpful. How embarassing would it be to get them both lost more so then they originally were? She'd get sick and he'd eventually perish from overly cold cliamtes. Wonderful way to die he supposed, but not in a light humor which suprised even him. He'd at least pass with a smile on his lips for he knew there was another like him, only blessed with sun not night. "Alright Alex." He smiled and passed a happy glance towards her through those bangs once more out of the corner of his eye. He loved to see the smile playing so well on those olive tinted lips... so beautiful and lush, despite the small rain drops tat played upon them like pests... but even then, she ahd the power to take them and make them like diamonds against her velvet warm skin... amazing. Taking a moment to notice he'd shortened her name so rudely, he blinked and turned slowly towards her to see if it would cause any sour reaction. Goddess, where were his manners in this situation? "I mean, Yes Alexandra." He excused himself quickly and quickly silenced himself with that. "A demon could forever be plotting... I mean, don't take this wrong... but if I hadn't noticed how similar we were and just how amazing the physical difference and yet.. similarities, I'd have just moved on." A blunt truth. Despite her fuss about him sheltering and being so kind, he just passed it off with a kind shrug of his tattooed shoulder. She could fuss all she'd want, but the only difference it would make is... he'd just laugh and find her cuter then he already did. However, her concern gaze and shifted glances made him worry. Had he done something wrong? Was he being overbaring to her? Oh goodness, sometimes you could kill the best of things with too much kindness, had he managed to do just that? She already had a slightly lifted tone in irritation it seemed with each time he'd make mention of her beauty and how he reffered to her as a sun creature.. but in fact, she was. "Please, do understand I don't feel any offence from you and you shoudln't from me. I just simply can't help but adore you. I'm envious." He muttered lightly as a mossy covered brick cottage came in through the distance. "You get to enjoy all the pleasures of the world, where as I have to hide from the most enjoyable ones. This rian could very well kill me too if it gets cold enough, and so could the sun if it's too hot. You... you can be out and enjoy every moment of the day where I have select moments." He sighed in return to her own. "I don't mean you're weak, but fragile in the beautiful sense... I'd hate to see anything ahrm a beauty as you." He hated his honesty, but it just needed to be thrown out there.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ A shift through the tree as the weight shifted and the leaves gave silent warning to someone's approach, his crimson hues shot open and locked to the approaching feline. Her figure hugging to the tree made him smile slightly beneath the silk fabric of his scarf. A feline clinging for dear life to a tree? Cute. Turning slowly, his body forced up to an upright sit inbetween the branches as he lowered his head a bit to talk to her. "Ishtar? What are you doing here?" His tone soft despite his obvious depression. Though it was nice to have an old face near him, it still didn't completely patch the pain inside. He was only a man, but it still was all the same how he felt, all this depression and pain. Maybe this is what he needed. "Are you alright? You look as if you're about to pass out you're hugging to that trunk so hard." He poked fun at her lightly with a small snicker. This did make him feel a tad better, she'd always been clumsy, which is one thing he adored about the feline when they'd met. She was falling all over herself and being so helpless. Being around her gave him a purpose, made him feel like the hero he was supposta be.

Smiling brightly at Kasuka she then let out a slight giggle realizing how long it'd been since she'd ever seen anyone outside of her home, responding to his question she made sure to keep her grasp on the tree tight for she didn't want any accidents happening, especially not when she was a cat, the ironic saying went through her head over and over again 'cat stuck in tree' Giggling it away though she then responded "Chi threw me in here to get more socialized, however, it was basically her fault in the beginning that I was even stuck there." A pout could be seen upon her face but she quickly put it away as she then said "Say... how come you never came to visit me~? It was so- boring in there all by myself... well I wasn't all by myself, Jacey and Dior just had babies, so their room's pretty loud, but everyone else is either too busy or don't know me well enough yet to come by my room to visit me~ ... Oh yes, which brings on my next question, how've you been these past few... months?... that I haven't see you~?"

(( Kuku he finds her cute x3.))
Alexandra couldn't help but let out a chuckle, for she found it rather funny that the male beside her had called her by her nickname, it was a nice thing to hear again, her nickname for she hadn't heard anyone use it in so long, so Thoth even mistakenly saying it was a joy for her ''Oh my it's fine Thoth, feel free to call me Alex, it made me smile really.'' She beamed, her ears perking up happily and her long, rather darkened sun kissed tail swishing also in a happy manner ''Though I'm not sure I can really think of a nickname for you, I'd have to think about coming up with one.'' This indeed set the female off in coming up with a nickname for him, a few crossed her mind but didn't quite really go with him, she could tell that coming up with a nickname for him would be rather hard ''It's nice that you called me Alex, my sister's used to do it, but that was many years ago of course.'' She said with a slow nod, still half in thought about the name.
She soon took note in what he had to say next, leaving her be if she wasn't as similar, yet unique to him. She perfectly understood, after all she wasn't one to always go out her way for someone, let alone for a stranger, so she took it to be a blessing what Thoth had done, or well was doing for her ''No, no I get it.'' She answered, her orchid eye's shifting back up towards the serpent hybrid. Her attention soon returned up towards the leathery like wing that protected her from the almost jagged blade like rain, maybe there was someway she could do something like that for him? Then it clicked, looking down to her side she remembered the pouch that hung loosely by her side, opening it she removed a sort of small blanket, not that big really but enough to cover your head, it was in fact rather damp but still had some use in it. Pulling it out of the pouch she lifted her hands towards the male's head, holding the blanket over it, in hopes to at least stop a bit of rain ''Your an idiot protecting me like that, I'm not the only one who will catch my death in this weather.'' She said softly, this in fact was Alexandra not at all being mean but trying to help him, and well this was the only way she could help Thoth at the moment ''It's only fair that I try to keep you even remotely a drop dry, just as your doing with me.'' She added, her brows frowning for a moment yet that small smile returning to her lips.
Once more she returned her orchid gaze back to him, her ears also swerving towards Thoth, she took in all of his words, adding one or two nods in the process, once he finished she pondered on what to answer, envious? That word stuck there in her mind, why is the world was he envious? Shaking her head, her lips parted yet shut otomaticly once more as he continued on with his words. Such a hard life he seemed to have, not being to enjoy all of the seasons, in fear of his life, not that Alexandra did enjoy all of the seasons but that was beside the point, she couldn't help but feel sad for him, how horrible it must be being rather deprived of staying out as long as you wanted, dancing in the rain, oh god the rain, playing in the snow, basking in the heat of summer, Alexandra couldn't imagine not having that '' I'm sorry, you must hate not being able to stay out as long as you want in the sun of even days like this, but to be honest I'd rather not stay out on days like this, anyway I think we should get you home, I mean again you could just as much as me catch your death in this cold, as you already said.'' She smiled softly once more, speeding her pace up in order to get to their destination faster, for she didn't want Thoth to fall ill, that'd be truly horrible, and after him helping her.
A soft sigh of defeat escaped the woman's slender lips as she listened to Thoth's compliment again, waves and waves of wonderful sensations his compliments gave her, so really she couldn't help but admit defeat ''Alright alright, thank you for the compliments, they make me smile and feel rather special in a way.'' She said nervously, her eyes looking to the ground ''But you really need to let me compliment you more.'' She grumbled, her eyes returning back up to the serpent man, then towards what seemed to be an old cottage, moss growing in various places around it.

(( Excuse the pause in posting. Babies are life drainers before they're born. -grumbles- ))
A quick jolt of reliefe shot through the hybrid as she laughed off his rudeness so thoughtlessly. The fact that it made her joyful in some small measure made it all the better for him. He wanted to make a smile cares those full lips, to have her shine so bright from his words. It brought light to the darkness in his body, made his skin tense and tingle with an odd sensation each time that light pitch of happiness tickled her tone. Dropping his gaze slightly to the flooring beneath his serpent body as thye moved at a safer pace now that the cottage was in sight, he bit to his lip gently from the inside before being pulled from the sweet daydream of the reality happening beside him: her smile. "A nicname for me?" He goffed softly, perking the small blue wings atop his horned head. "I'd never been given one.. not even by my parents." He paused to the thought. "I mean, As you asked earlier, it is Egyptian, yes... so coming up wih a shorter version of 'Thoth' would be a task in it's own." A small giggle pressed his lips from the idea. Whould she call him something silly like 'T.T.' or something a bit less girly. He was slender and female like in some manners, but to be called such a soft and cuddly name with his physical condition wasn't somehting he'd stand for from anyone... except her. Putting pass every small confronting conversation previous to this moment, his brain was just filled with an overflowing joy of her even wanting to call him anything short of his own name. Even better, being invited to call her 'Alex'. A sigh of such unexplainable happiness passed almost through hsi whole body as his entire being almost sank in with the ideas that plagued him so wonderfully. Wings drooping slightly behind and voer her head as he melted in his own. Was he over reacting? Would she notice how such a simple thing would make him so happy? Taking this too far and making her uncomfortable? This shot him quickly upright to hide it like he was just shivvering or something... yeah, a snake shivvering... funny. through his deep cascade of ideas, they came to be within mere feet of the stone cottage of moss and greenery. His deep pooled lighter hues danced over her face, wondering what her reaction to the run down fary tale like home would be. "Well, this is it. I do have a small fire rolling inside, plenty of towels and warm things if you'd like. I can also heat up tea." He poored over her all the small favors he'd be willing to do for her. "Even a shower if you'd like... I don't take baths or anything, but have one hell of a foutian shower if you'd like ot wash the cold away while I make something for us to eat or drink." All these things, he could make a huge list, he'd even go as far as offer to go out and hunt for anything particular she'd want to eat... All to entertain his most special guest. Despite all his talking and rambling in his head, he'd completely missed the drooped expression that still lingered her face from him requesting her not to compliment him. This drew a shock of doubt in his head, he felt wrong, as if he'd done somthing so wrong to rob her of any happy feelings. "Did I say something wrong? Am I being to overwhelming? I can shut up if you want me to!" He whimpered almost, his wings dropping even more defeated around him. Oblivious to the true reasons of her frown, but still worried beyond normal actions would take it.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
All this explosion from the feline drew his head to almost spin! He knew he'd be docile for a long time, but sheesh! She was just as cooped up as him, only more willing to spout on about it. Bah, he felt like a jerk for thinking such things, but it had been a while since the trained killer had made a social run in with someone. "Wow.. you poor thing, I'm sorry you had to deal with all of this happening to you." His tone wasn't a dull and tasteless one amazingly like he'd wanted it to be, he did miss the chatty clumsy kitty. Reaching down with a free hand to offer her help up to his branch, his deep crimson eyes stayed upon her, recalling everything they'd been through. The first time he saw her from above in the rafters as she fell helplessly all over herself, how she blushed so easily when he'd poke fun of her. Then the more painful things of her admitting to having some feelings for him and him turning her away in fear of stupid things. How could she sit there and be so nice to him after all he'd done to her? Made her comfortable with him and herself, made her feel like he felt. Then to say 'sorry, I just can't' to her and walk away for months on end. Still rather speechless, he forced his tongue and lips to work to start answering questions befor she realized what he was staring at her for and made the silence strange. "I haven't exactly been myself Ishtar. After all that's happened I kinda lost myself. I don't quite want to go into details, but just know I think I deserved all of this." He chuckled softly under his scarf. "What about you? I'm sure you've met someone by now and have babies of your own as well." He didn't want to hide that the idea kinda was hopeful for her.. but at the same time.. he did still have feelings for her in a manner, which brought a small p***k of pain to his throat when he made mention.

((*huggles Eli* Don't worries about, just remembers to get lots of sleep and lots of nutritious foods, like salad ->v<- Caeser salad's are really delicious ->v<- Good luck wif baby, let us know all about both of your statuses, we waffle Eli and hopes that everyone's all healthy and stuffs<3 ->v<- Eli comes first and rp comes second for me n' Ishtar, even though she's enjoying her time out of the house... XD))
Giggling a bit, Ishtar then just said "Nah... it's alright, at least it's over now, I get to talk to you, and you can keep me company, so it's all good now~" Ishtar was really hyped up since getting out of her boring home was actually quite exciting to put it in words. Reaching out to grab his hand at first, she then pulled it back slightly and smiled awkwardly as she then explained herself "Umm... I'm really sorry I hope that you're not angry because I didn't take your hand, but actually, I have a really good reason... hehehe... I think that if I get any higher than this, I have a basic... well... 100% chance of falling... I mean, you know me, I'm just so clutzy, something I'd really like to get rid of... I don't think it's very appealing at all..." Laughing a bit she then continued "Yups... cats are always supposed to land on their feet, I find that so elegant, but falling everywhere and not always landing on your feet actually gets tiring after awhile... It's really... umm... I guess you could say difficult because you tend to get lots of bruises, and me and my clutzy self have been seeing that quite often now... so I'd rather not go up too high, I hope it's not offending, if so... I'm really really sorry..." Ishtar really enjoyed Kasuka's company, she used to think of him as someone like a knight in shining armor, but even when he turned her down, some of it still remained. He was still very kind and sincere, but he seemed as if he had gone through a lot as well, and that worried her a bit since she was a bit afraid that he may get upset at something that she thought was okay. Smiling though, she then listened to what he had to say and almost fell off of the tree thinking about it. "Really!? Oh my god, why didn't you tell me? or visit me, if I knew that you felt... lost, I coulda at least kept you company? Maybe I'm being too much of a girl right now, but, I thought that friends tell each other stuff... I really don't want for you to be sad... I've met a few others but outside of my family, you're still my only friend, I wouldn't want my one and only friend to be sad, if you were in my position, you wouldn't either right???" Getting a bit caught up in the moment, she had kinda exploded with all the thoughts that she could come up with, but hearing his next question, she then quieted down to hear him as he then asked about her. Giggling for a short while, Ishtar then put a hand up to her mouth to try and quiet down her giggles, as they finally subsided, she replied "Kasuka, you're so funny, me? have kids and... a mate??? Wow, those are some pretty high up there goals... Well to answer... no I don't... It's not as if I don't want to but... I dunno... it's just... it's hard to explain... The whole house is so overjoyed that the twins were born, I'd be one of the happiest little kitties in the world to have some of my own but... well... hmm... a mate... I have no clue where I'd find one... Everyone seems to have someone and if not, then I'm just too shy too approach anyone, I mean hmmm... I'll tell you a secret, just girl to gir- I mean... friend to friend, I think that men should ask women to date them and not the other way around... I mean... I'm not saying that women shouldn't say anything at all, but ummm... well... it's just my preferance I guess for men to ask women, kinda dumb, but oh well... and for babies, I don't think I can just as well make them by myself... could I?" Giggling, she then said "Probably not... but anyways, how about you? no babies? If you've got them, know that I'd love to baby-sit~ Jacey and Dior never let their eyes off of the twins so we don't really get to baby-sit them... I feel so- old, otherwise... I mean... I think you would too... I was stuck in a house and then Jacey and Dior, who're pretty young, just had babies, and here I am, the ol' maid as you'd call it and I still don't have a mate or kids, that's pretty sad... excuse my ranting a raving but ever since I got stuck in that house, all I tend to do is rant and rave, sorry if it bothers you, half the house-the girl half of the house does this too... it's kinda... well... influencing I guess you could say hehe..."
