I wasn't a fan of anime when I joined. I'm still not. There are some really great ones I love to death, but I don't generally watch/read much anime.

Hey Guys!
I know it's been awile since I've been on. Sorry stressed I've been dealing with a lot of stuff lately. One of my best friends just got out of a potentially dangerous relationship. And I am so relieved xd I was so worried about her. Now she's back home and I'm helping her rebuild her life. All that matters to me is that she's safe. Thank God. biggrin I've also been stressing because I just told my friend whom I've known for 10 years that I like him and he responded that We should get together soon and talk. I have yet to call him but I've been sick. xp Too much stress. sweatdrop I hope it goes well.

I joined cuz a friend of mine said it was fun...I didn't see what the big deal was but here I am a year or so later still coming, I guess I just met a lot of cool people here but the point is that I don't care for anime really I prefer animation styles like the simpsons better (plus it's just funny as hell).
To purple rose: I only have one thing to say...actually I have several things i could say but I choose to say just this one. I once dated one of my close friends and it was great and all but when she dumped me my life became a living hell for several months. Basically she hurt me so bad during and after the break up that now that she wants to be friends again I can't really forgive her for trampling on my feelings so badly. So I don't mean to make this sound like a bad situation but I mean the out come can really suck.

Dating your best friend or lifelong friend has been a romanticized idea for a while - it's quite popular in fiction. Sometimes, as Hendrix says, it can have a shaky relationship. If it turns out that your relationship takes a turn for the worst, whoever is making the break-up speech should say it very gently. I know it sounds stupid and obvious coming from some dude outside the relationship who knows nothing about your relationship, but you know it's true. As I've always said: the key to every relationship, be among friends, spouses, coworkers, etc. lies within one simple word: Communication. Let her know, man. Let her know how you feel. Don't be an a** about it, but tell her how you feel. Chances are... one of you will apologize.
