"As nice as I am now I'll just get nicer and nicer." Ciara sarcastically. "I need sleep, or you will end up hating me." Ciara added as a warning, annoyed at the repetition of her surroundings. Surely there had to be something different eventually, or maybe they were supposed to go through the doors, or well the "doors".

Ciara also stopped upon noticing that Van had found that there was actually a real door. She looked at the door for a moment, being sure of the fact that there was most likely a horrible creature or something of the sort behind the door. Her farther wouldn't have made it easy, or at least that's what she had though. However, she was immediately proved wrong when she quickly opened the door.

She stared the room in front of her in shock of what she was seeing. "My room?!" She announced confused. For what she saw was her very own room that was back at her mansion. She knew it was there only by magic, but still what was the point in such a thing. Oh well, at least it was a good place to get rest.

Ciara, still a bit stunned, walked into the room. Her eyes studied all the various things around her as if looking for a mistake, but everything was exactly how she had left it. The room obviously belonged to a wealthy person, for it was incredibly large and was adorned with expensive things. The bed was by far one of the most extravagant ever made, and the decorations were suberp. The only thing that seemed out of place was that there were various weapons scattered about.

"Yea no kidding." Ciara muttered in reply, touching one of the bedpost trying to see if it was real. One thing was for sure. If everything in that room was real she was going to crash on her bed and sleep. Of course she wasn't quite sure what Van would do, but at that moment her thoughts weren't concerning him, they weren't even thinking about the purpose of her room being there.

She yawed, placing her hand over her mouth as she did so. "Maybe I'll just go to bed..."

Van walked around the room, it was so out of place inn this area. "Go ahead, I won't attack you." His eyes moved across the floor examining the weapons scattered about.

The weapons ranged from guns to daggers and each glistened in the light. Van picked one of the glistening daggers up and was amazed by how well balanced and light the weapon was. The metal was familiar though. It was of adamantine, the same material that made up his two main daggers one of which was in Terri's possession.

Van threw the dagger into his hair where the other had once been, he felt more balnced with the thing hidden inside his hair.

Van turned to Ciara after her change, "No I just need to rest my arms a bit and I'll be fine." Van moved across the floor picking up useful daggers and a couple of items that he would pawn later. After he was done he took a chair and leaned against the wall in a corner finding new places to hide the new weapons.

Van watched her fall asleep, They're always cute when they're asleep He chuckled a bit and went back to one of the new dagger testing it's balance trying to find some sort of flaw in it. He twirled it around his fingers and let it rest on his knuckles.

Van stopped for a moment to look at the dagger itself and admired the elaborate designs on it. The engravings weaved into the blade like a piece of art and used the bluish shine in order to make the design even more impressive. He stopped looking and put the dagger in his boot.

A shift caught Van's eye. A shadow seemed to move and then stop when he looked. Then it just started to move with him looking and rose up into some figure. A humanoid form as black as the night rose out of the shadows with one of the short swords off of the floor and began to hover over Ciara. Damn it. Van pulled the daggers from his hair and shifted across the floor noiselessly. Ciara needed her sleep and Van wasn't going to even chance waking her. As soon as he moved his dagger to the creatures back it dissipated and moved behind Van who was stumbling to regain his balance and barely caught the noiseless blade that was swung at his back. Van was in trouble he had to catch it off guard some how.

The two danced across the floor making it difficult for Van to think. Their blades never hitting. Suddenly an idea struck Van that made no sense what so ever but neither did any of this. He stopped his dodge and took out a match lit it and tossed it on the creature while he swung what would have been a lethal blow.

The fire roared to life on the creature and Van struck home killing the beast in a splatter of dark blood that covered Van. The flames died with the creature and all was peaceful.

Van sat back down breathing heavily with the blood soaked dagger still in his hand. He had never fought anything like that before. He wiped the dagger on his jeans and placed it back into his hair.

Ciara was asleep still, which had been Van's goal in the first place. He wouldn't be able to leave her so defenseless as to let himself be indisposed while she slept. He would have to study the creature later one day when he had a chance but that could wait. All that mattered was that the problem was dealt with for now.
