((grr! Gaia ate my post so this might be a little, ok, majorly sub-par due to the fact I'm RPing elsewhere as Tor and don't want to keep the other person waiting tooo long))
*plopped back down on stool*

*glanced at recording device, eyes drifting over her body before looking towards the rest of the bar/darkness*
"I have no answers for you. The last time I remember coming here it was one of those things where fate choses you, and you come and go as you do. There is no reason that I can discern beyond this place wanting or not wanting you here. I have no clue how you would leave, but based on the expansions, I likely missed something."

:::Cora heaved a heavy sigh, the first sign of any emotion since she met this complete stranger. As she feared, nothing he was saying made any sense to her still. She felt tired. And suddenly she felt light headed. She looked at her hands which began to become transparent:::

:::she tried not to sound afriad, but her uncertainty was the last of her emotions that would hang in the air before she disappeared entirely:::

((No problem, always interesting to RP with some fresh meat, er, new people ^_^))
((oh, and normally my character isn;t so horny, in both senses of the word, but he's currently being all feh and having adulterous relations with his secretary.))
*Tac gave little notice to her leaving, only wanting to get back to his office himself. His attempts to quell his lust for the day not exactly helped by the mix of his currently dirty mind and the dress of the 'officer.' He decided to go sit somewhere away from the bar because the smell of his own barf was getting quite strong.*
"Crazy futuristic b***h...where the ******** are my guns...I need to shoot something..."
*He started to pull a chair out to sit down, leaning it back, but he never had the chance to pull it out fully as it fell to the ground. He was gone as well before it hit the floor.*

:::Silence had lingered at the brink for eternity and for not a moment when it was broken for the second time by Officer Cora Serenis. Her form appeared standing in the blackness, momentarily unaware that she was no longer on duty, but the ignorant bliss would wear off very soon:::
:::She looked around, and came to realize that she was in the chasm once again. Tears began to well up behind her blue eyes, but she stopped them right there. She pressed the button on her wrist and began recording:::
I wished that this was just a dream... but here I am again in the hollow realm I spoke of before. My nurological systems are causing dimentia. But I do not understand why this is not being registered as a vital malfunction when I run daily diagnostics. I do not want to be sick.
:::She stopped recording. She felt tears edge closer to the surface again, and the tone in her voice waved in the last few words that had been troubling her for...she wasn't sure. Since the last time she'd been here:::

::Nyx peeked over the bar, which she had been hiding behind for quite some time, just sitting and waiting. She didn't know exactly what she was waiting for of course, but she was waiting anyway...::
::She looked at Cora, taking in a very deep, very weary breath before speaking.:: Don't be afraid of the Brink. It isn't anything to be afraid of. You're perfectly safe, but you can leave if you REALLY don't want to be here.

:::Cora did not show signs of being startled by the sudden presence of another. Instead, she was embarassed that she might have allowed the stranger to sense her fear. She felt tempted to go as soon as this strange new person told her that she could...but was entrigued. The part about being completely safe sparked her attention:::

While you're in The Brink, things are sort of paused. Time doesn't pass at all. You could say time just doesn't exist here.
