So I've played trumpet for eight years, but last year I did bass for percussion ensemble (winter season, 1st bass), and I LOVE it! Our line rocks! And winter season starts again in three weeks!! I cant wait to get back on bass! No offense to my trumpet, I love it, but im over MB and trumpet playing for the year.

Im co section leader of the pit at my school. Ive got a marimba, 4 and a half octaves, musser, majorly nice. four mallets is fun. thats all ive got to say...

YAY! I'm so happy! Winter Percussion Ensemble started last night, and I get to play bass again! (I love bass, but I play trumpet for marching band). I love bass! And this year, I'm on third, which is awesome. LAst year, I was on first, and that was cool, except Imlike the second tallest 1 on drum line and I looked stupid with the tiny first, and because I like the beefier sounds of third and fourth bass. But it's heavy!!! I have bruises on my hips from the harness rubing in to the bone. But I'll get use to it (Sorry, I'm just rambling).
Hey, I have a problem, can anyone help me? My left wrist always starts to break after one or two hits I try rotating slow and then speading up, but I cant get my left wrist to rotate instead of breaking. Does any one have any suggestions?

I love my drumline. We're really connected and we have the best vibe in the band ^_^
I'm the section leader for the tenor drums. It's only my second year so I'm not very great, but I hope to get better and to learn some really sweet splits. Splits are my favorite things to learn XD

I play cymbals! Actually, today we're performing at U of A Band Day. It'll be my first time and I'm SO excited. I just hope my knee doesn't keep being retarded.

During marching band this year, I was in pit. I played marimba. At my local drum corps, I bass 1. I've been playing drums for about seven years now.

Which school were you? I was second vibes in Cactus High School's marching band. Sadly, we don't march cymbals, but I'd love to march cymbals in winter drumline or drum corps.
