I never was a big fan of the beach... But I love to sit in the shade at a small fishing hole and just listen to the world while I fish. It is so peaceful... God's creation.

I like the country becuase of the wide open spaces... now if I could have a couple hundred acres across the beach with no one trying to mess with my place I might like that...
It is just much simpler living in the woods of the south. I can hunt, I can fish, I can target shoot, I can ride ATV's... I grew up like that so I crave it. Also I can't shake the scene I saw while on a chopper ride with a friend... I never knew sharks were so close to the beach... much less so close to people
I for some reason feel like I just slaughtered my spelling... Maybe I have been at work for far to long. crying

i would luv to go to the beach heart . But, the snow falling outside is a nice thing to wake up to as well. It's like God is romancing my heart each time I wake up and find the ground covered with dusty flakes. It makes me smile and feel undeserving. But, if God is giving it as a gift- what can I refuse?? ^^

I live close to the beach, and it almost never snows here. The only time it snowed here in my lifetime was Christmas 2004 when a freak storm blew in. It was almost like everyone prayed at once for it to snow, it was crazy.

Ha! Now that sounds cool... how long did the snow last is the question. Where I come from snow melt during the day and then freezes at night so the next day everything is covered in weird slick yet powdery ice. Arkansas is worse that TX for weird weather.

You're a REDNECK!! blaugh Welcome to the club-- love the beach as I may, I was born and raised in the middle of nowhere (South Carolina lowcountry) and if I wasn't slightly (though only slightly) more civilized I'd claim it openly myself. I guess it's forgivable if you don't go around hunting possums (like some people around here I know...) cool Just kidding, Paladin-- all in good fun, I promise.

I claim to be a country boy... but I could be called a red neck. I like nothing more than to fish and shoot. To me the sound of a well made shotgun loading a shell is almost paradise. I just haven't found any good places to fish and shoot since I moved to TX... I wanna go home this summer and sit in the shade near my old fishing hole for about a week...

i don't know if i would call that being a red neck, i might call it wanting to have an adventure, or being able to enjoy nature as God intended. Nowadays people are so addicted to their iPods and MySpace accounts, it's like the beauty outside doesn't matter anymore. And now that I type that, I think I'm going to go for a walk tomorrow. 3nodding

Didn't know there was going to be a new game-- shows how much I know about the matter. So... can't honestly say I am, though I am very much looking forward to FF7's "Advent Children" movie release. 3nodding

I thought it had already come out on DVD... I have the Fansub anyway. For me FF is cool but a bit to... lengthy. I would often get bored in the periods of grinding for exp and gil... I like games like Lunar Eternal Blue where level grinding was minimal and the story was always there.
Also everytime I see Barrett I can't help but laugh. His name fits him after all. Barrett Arms makes some of the largest rifles in the world. My sig pic is barrets smallest LR Sharp Shooter, the 95M. It is a .50 cal. with an overall length of just under 35 inches. the weight of the bullets are often up towards 400 gr. on the low end.
