Takara467 Daishi gave him a hard look, the air about him stern and the wind sharply rustled the trees, making a few mini whirlwinds. His voice was calm, and no enemity existed in it. "No one thought you were a weakling who had to rely on others. That was all in your mind, it was your fear of being seen as weak, and you believed that fear, making it real in your head. Though I didn't know you, I know Takara had trusted you, and never saw you as weak, and I'm sure at least some of the others thought the same. However, through leading yourself on and doing all this, you show that you're weak, for you've succumbed to your fears and allowed them to control your actions. Is this truly what you want? And afterwards, what is the point? Why does the opinions of others matter as long as you're doing what you think is right?..."::The reflection of the Red Moon burned deeply in my eyes as I replied:: Vain: PFt, You can say what you want, but you know nothing. You don't even know the full story, just little chunks. Now, who else would like to try their luck? I still could use a little more practice till Cyrus and Catalyxe show their faces.

Travis stuck is quarerstaff in the ground and leaned against it as others entered the fight. His attention was taken as he felt something very powerful draw near. He pulled Jiba out from the ground and walked toward the disturbance. He compleately ignoed Vain.

Koori regain conscienceness. She opened her eyes slightly as a Vain and Daishi conversed.
"I expected to wake up in hell... So you didnt finish the job?... My whole body aches... with hatred... for not being able to beat someone like you..."
She slowly pulled a canteen off of her belt and drank its contents. It raised her energy back to full as she drank. She cringed at the taste.
"GAH! Ill never get used to that stuff..."
She put the empty canteen back on her belt.
"So the story is, you have an inferiority complex? So your gonna kill your friends to deal with it? Not to mention your drawing off of an external power source. If you want to give proof of your strenght fight them without this red moon bull s**t. If you cant do that, then you are truely weak. You wont win against them. You can tell by the look in their eyes, that they are warriors. All I can see in you is a coward. A pathetic whimpering coward, hiding behind a power that doesnt even belong to you."
She turned her head and spit. When the spit hit the ground the grass around it withered and died.

::The Red Moon burned its reflection in my eyes, Just like when Medusa burnt her face into that shield in that greek myth that I forgot what it was....::
Vain: Fool. I know their warriors, but so am I. And the Red Moons power IS my own, just enhanced. Now, to start hacking away at that barrier again. SHADOW FLARE!!!!!!!!!!!
::Shadow Flare was now 43% stronger then normal. It struck the barrier with much might, but still didnt break it::
Vain: Gve it time, I will take you all out.

Daishi rolled his eyes, giving up talking to the fool, and coolly regarded Vain, remaining quite unperturbed.
"You mean the Red Moon enhances your powers, the Red Moon doesn't belong to you...And you say I know nothing? What of yourself? You seem rather overconfident for one who's outnumbered, has little skill of his own, and is depending on an external source as a crutch..."

Vain: I have skills, just not used to this body... And I don't rely on the Red Moon, its just there. I didnt make it for the soul purpose of powering me up, its always been there, its not my fualt I can absorb its power.

"No, you didnt make it, but that still doesnt account for the fact that your using it to prove your the strongest. Not to menton the well planned timing of coming after the big guy and teach. As far as I can see your nothing without this red moon. Even with this red moon, they could still kick your a**."
A psychotic grin seized Koori's lips as she readied for an attack.

By the time Cyrus had regained his composure and prepared for his rendezvous with Vain, he coudl already sense Vain's growing power as the auras of Daishi, Koori, and Travis fluctuated near him They are idiots if they think to take him on in his state of being.....he is not one to be taken lightly at the moment He turned and bowed to Kasumi, then winked at Ral in a very provocative manner "I must be going now, I need to settle things with Vain for my Dear Tallie.....please do not follow after me, or try to interfere......if I win, we will be rid of the fool, and if I lose, then I suppose I will be condemned to the Soulnado for all eternity......oh, and please, do not tell Tallie" He smiled, then left the cave, and headed off to where Vain was located. As he approached, he summoned a flash mist that enveloped the area in a bright blinding light, then quickly maneuvered himself between Vain and the others as the light subsided "Well, I am a man of my word, you should know.......I am here, Vain Ziler, and your opponent shall be me, as I fight for me Dear Tallie" He turned to the Koori and the others "Stay out of our way, and do not interfere, this is an exclusive one-on one fight!" He approached Vain, facing him with an unfeeling expression. He lifted his arms and flipped off Mokushiroku, which was positioned as his bracers, and they fell to the ground with a thud. "Just as we agreed, no weapons, this is an all-out duel to the death!" He took position, focusing his chi into his fists and feet

As Megami prepared to retire to her chamber for the night, she recieved one last report on Vain Ziler's progress. As the subordinate read off the report, her eyes widened in anger
"How dare he toruture one ofParleur's most Noble Soldiers! That and ruthlessly murdering a young woman for the hell of it? We are Noble's trying to take revenge on those who stole our light, not some ruthless cold-blooded beasts! This is unacceptable! I want a send for him first thing in the the morning! He will give reason for his behavior in a hearing before of the Council and I!" The subordinate nodded and bowed nervously, then proceeded to head off to file the report and the send for Vain Ziller for the hearing

Daishi sighed, having planned to fight him but nodded, respecting Cyrus' wish.
"Very well..."
He walked back into the cave, knowing he could easily step out should he be needed. He sat up against the wall near Taki and closed his eyes in meditation.

I also laid down all 8 of my swords and face him:: Vain: I tokk off most of my weighted clothes, this way the impact will be less painfull and more fair. But, I draw the line on taking off my pants, those stay on. Anyways, before we begin, I just want you to know one thing. You are the first to fight me at near full power, so that is why i am showing more respect. I may be compltetly crazy, but there is still a sense of honor in me. ::I stood in Dragon fighting style:: Vain: Let us begin.

Ral stood by the entrance to the cave. He hadnt move since he came back in. As Cyrus left the cave, an expression of confusion crossed his face.
"What is a... Tallie?..."
Outside.
"Gotcha big guy."
She dropped her stance and while she walked past she patted him on the back.
"Kick his a** for me too, kay? Besides, I dont want to have to explain why your dead to Sensei on Monday morning. That would ruin the whole vibe of the class. Not to mention take out all of the fun from school."
She walked back into the cave moving quickly past Ral and upto Daishi.
"Daishi, right? I want you to take me to Parleur, I need to do some recon."

Travis was gone befor the mist was there. He was creaping along a stony path. He heard voices."She could Destroy us all! you've all heard the tales! She will gain power and destroy us all!" A host of voices joined in then. Suddenly Travis heard a voice that he had not expected.
"Sit down, you fool! Yes, she may posess the power, but she does not yet realize it. We must stop the union. But we must be careful. We must first eliminate that which might cause this... problem. I will send a Quad to kill this Tachi boy."
Travis reeled in shock. Why would He want Tachi dead? Tachi. Travis had to warn him. But where was he? Earth. He was somewhere on earth. He had to warn him. He was so distracted by his thoughts he didn't notice the band of demons circling him until they had hold of him."Lookie here, we caught a Terren." One of them sneered. "Take him to the boss."
THey had him by the arms. He thought of trying to break free, but his curiosity got the better of him. His eyes widened though, when he was plopped on the ground infront the one person he thought would never be in such company. Scott.
