Nappy Tips for vibrato, eh? The way I learned was to push your bottom lip further up the reed then bring it back, repeatedly. Try it. Make a face like you're pouting, then bring it back to normal. Do that over and over again. Yeah, we usually aren't allowed to do vibratos in our music. sweatdrop

XD So my flute's in the shop this week, and I'm playing tenor for concert band. Yesterday we got a new song, "Wedding of Figaro," and apparently the original tenor part had been lost because it was done out on Finale... and it was ten pages long. xp So the other tenor player and I had to sit there and move pages from his stand to my stand while we played, which was... not easy, especially considering that the most rest we had at any point during the song was 6 bars of cut time rest. >> And then, when we finally reached the end... we were missing the last two pages. sweatdrop So we had to kind of sit there and look dumb until the end of the song. XP It was a good song, but it's not easy to play when you don't have two pages of it.

My friend has a band commandments comic, and she calls our BD the God Frog.

Ya, i play the tenor, which is pretty sweet since there are like only 5 tenors, all guys, so i get like free food and rides all the time. It's ridiculous, we have 120 people overall in band, and 40 are freshman, 39 of which suk (ok so its more like 30, but im working on my modesty). and right now in lessons im learning overtones. fun 3nodding wait is it supposed to be fun eek

Okay, I am going to be a b***h.
It is not 'berry' sax; it is 'bari' sax. Short for baritone.
