Hi I clean my clarinet with a wire brush! Do y'all? I think that it makes the insides so much more less moist. Well, my sister also plays the clarinet. Woop woop for that!

i started playing bass clarinet at the beginning of the school year. i play alto sax and they needed someone to play bass clarinet in the wind ensemble and they asked me and i agreed. it is a great instrument, but when you practice for an extended period of time without stopping, you get kinda winded.

Hi, I'm a junior in the Big Red Marching Band (Penn Hills, PA). Next year I'll be a section leader in the marching band, since I'll be the oldest with the most experience. I've played for 7 years, and I've considered college band, but I'm not sure yet. We don't compete very much, YET anyway. This year we were at the Gateway Judged Exhibition, just in case any of you guys might belong to one of the bands there... sweatdrop

Gosh, you're all making me feel old now hehe... I've been playing Clarinet, Bass Clarinet and Contra Alto Bass Clarinet for the last 7 years... Love the music, love the sound, though the wooden clarinets have a much nicer sound then the cheap plasic, school version clarinets

I do not play clairanet, but I just wanted to tell you all that I found a clalinet reed outside our band hall today and I BURNED it!!! Buahahaha!!! Now, don't take this personally as I am a pyro and will burn anything just for the heck of it. I have nothing against clarinets in fact, my boyfriend plays clarinet, but it sure was fun to burn a reed. Oh, and don't be too mad, the reed was cracked and couldn't have been used anyway. Well, that's all I've got to say. Bye!
