I play trombone and baritone, well since we had a shortage my freshman year which was last year i had to switch from alto clarinet to baritone for marching but for concert my dad bought me a value trombone it was awesome!!! but now i have to play regular trombone. Know whats funny though I one of the played only for a year this like July 18 but im one of the best in the section and we have awesome players so yea!! But woot we have a saying in our section
We'll break your reeds
We'll make you cry
We'll kick your a**
Cause we're LOW BRASS !

i just think low brass has the sweetest sound! we play come sail away in our half time show, and it starts out with just like this little ensemble and then everyone joins in, like the rest of the low brass and people and it just like, melts my heart every time i hear it even though we're only playing tied whole notes.

I play the Baritone Sax, and for our band it's Low Brass. Our band director just lumped us in there since there aren't any other low woodwind. But it rocks my socks. I love the people in band. They're so.... awesome. And a little perverted.

Bari's got moved to Sousa, we won't march bari anymore...
I play French Horn in concert band, and Baritone in Marching.
It's fun! I've been playing for about 4 months and I'm first Chair Baritone!

LOVE IT!
We have a joke in our band.
"Why do they let woodwinds into marching band?"
"It's an equal opportunity group, anyone can join!"
Yet the handbook says it doesn't discriminate against race, gender, ect, but never instrument....
I'm the only girl in the Low Low brass, so section sleepovers are really fun! I bring brownies! Yay! But I get touched a bit...
