The Doctor made it seem as if he was watching Larry leave, while he was actually attempting to collect his thoughts before returning to the three woman. His soft blue eyes were very troubled and he was fighting to remain in control of his strange mind, recalling back to his studies to think of how his patients reacted in stressed times.. This only reminded him of Hikari's father, and a pang of guilt and sorrow followed.
Taking a shaky breath, Severin turned and walked back towards Yami's still figure and the other two huddled around her. He seemed to tower over the group, but soon he was down on his knees and glancing to Hikari for permission to look at Yami. "Miss... May I..?"

Annie looked up at Hikari, her eyes dancing wickedly at the comment. "My dear girl," she said, attempting the air of someone much older, "I am the most wonderful person you will ever meet, and if that doesn't strike fear into your fluttering lady's heart, nothing wil.l." She turned back towards Yami with a bland expression and continued trying to dry her hair. She only nodded slightly at Hikari's next comment, watching her slide back next to her sister in a red bathrobe. Annie pursed her lips, knowing she would have to do the laundry afterwards. Then she moved away, to allow the doctor entrance into the huddle of people.

Hikari just smiled the best smile she could offer Annie at a time like this before her eyes drifted over to Yami. She stared at her sister for a moment before her eyes went into a soft gaze, the world around her going blank, her mind with it.
She snapped back to reality when the doctor moved towards then. She sent him a tired look before moving over as well. "Please do join us, Severin. I would like...to...see if you know anything...about Yami..."
Her mind barely registered what Annie was saying to her but she got the jist of it, and bit back the remark that Annie was probably a nice woman if she didnt want to eat her head off.

Yami slowly opened her eyes, her vision correcting that blur of colors before her into objects...and people. She felt her head sort of spin, as she awoke to a splitting headache and....well....lost words... ...deciding not to say anything......she timidly waited for a reaction.....what would come out from them?

Dr. Severin had just kneeled down when Yami began to stir, mechanically he checked the speed of her pulse and he pulled back a sleeve to touch the underside of his forearm to her head. He realized only too late that his arm was covered in cuts, scratches, and bites, some of which were severe. He kept on with his checkup of the now-conscious girl ignoring what he had just revealed, he could explain afterwards.
"Miss Yami.." Oddssen said, his voice taking on that peculiar soothing tone he had used before. He held a finger up in the air as he spoke, "Would you please follow my finger with your eyes, Miss? Speak if you can, how are you feeling?"
In all honesty, the Doctor wasn't meant for this kind of work, but working with patients that oftened blacked out, he had some knowledge of what to do.

"Yaa..mee?" she thought, as she eyed his finger as it was some sort of toy, rather than seeing it as a way to find out if she was okay or not. Pulling away from the trance, her eyes then made its way to the ground, as she lifted her hand up to her forehead mumbling "My head hurts"....before then returning to the position she was earlier....silent, and still waiting for more people to respond....though she kept her eyes on the finger...

"Oh Yami!" It came out as a breath of relief and Hikari instantly moved to get closer to her sister. "Is she okay Severin?" she asked quickly all thoughts of her realitionship with the man gone from her head.

Yami felt a serious case of clusterphobia about to close in on her, as she felt as if everyone else in the room would suddenly surround her like the main attraction. Yaa...mee......Yami. There's that name again....and everyone keeps on approaching...me...closer to me....is my name...Yami? She looked as the girl who just approached her grew into view....she opened her mouth "Who are you?".....but she decided to change her mind about the question, and instead. "Who am I?"...but words are words...and she couldn't take back her questions now...

Cordain Nekura stood up and chuckled, fine, she didn't want to talk about her past or her emotions. He nodded his head to Emi, "Books on medicine. They wouldn't be easy to find of course so finding a book shop that deals in rare books." he responded to her. "ah, I see...indeed that would be hard to find" she took a couple of steps forward while speaking and dug around her left pocket, she then slightly turned around and tossed the man a small black book. Inside of the book was directions upon how to get to a book store located in a dark and well...dark alley. "hope you don't get lost, see ya!" she then walked and slightly waved while turning a corner, once she passed the corner she immediatly ran, literally ran, taking any shortcuts and knocking things down so she could get to her bookshop, she knew running in the rain was not good...but in a way as she though, she might die earlier....
Once she finally reached her bookshop, she immediatly opened the door, closed it and lit the candles that were not lit anymore and started to dig though the dusty shelves and piles of books for any books on herbs

He had turned the corner to watch Emi take off like a bat out of hell. He opened the book and took a look before he pocketed. From there he began navigating the Lost district to find the appropriate land marks to make his way to Emi's shop. As soon as he arrived, he knocked upon the door and opened it as he entered, "Hello, I was told I could find books here?"

The Doctor frowned and ignored Hikari's words, all his attention was focussed on Yami. She seemed capable of following his finger, which meant she still had her sight. She seemed distant, and now asked who he was, followed by the question of who she was. This wasn't a good sign, and he hoped she was just slowminded from waking up, and didn't have any permanent memory damage.
"I'm a Doctor," Severin said softly, his voice embued with that calming touch. "Do you know your name, Miss? Think. Tell me something abut yourself, tell me what comes to your mind."

"Name?" she said, as her eyes trailed to the ground once more, tearing her attention away from the people in front of her, and more on the question that the doctor just said. "My....name....is..." she hesitated on the last word. She couldn't confirm it, her name that is. The word Yami seemed familiar to her, and it was the only word that seemed to be passing around the group, before being stared upon. Could....WAS...Yami her name? "My..name is....Ya..mi?" she said, more as a question than a statement, to the people in front.

As Emi sat on the ground, searching through one last pile of books that were on the ground, she let out a small sneeze and listened as the door opened and she heard the man's voice, she though to herself first upon what he had said "I am surprised that you did not get lost" she cheerfully spoke as she stood up and turned around to face him "You can find more than books here, antiques, trinkets, stuff that has no name and unknown purposes" she then walked a little bit towards him and spoke one last time "welcome to the Black Book" she kept her eyes looking at the man, trying to avoid looking at the rain let alone she continued to think of different thoughts in order to keep her past within its "sealed area" in her mind. She placed both of her hands in her pockets and smiled at the man

"So you have the types of books I'm looking for?" He inquired of Emi with a soft smile as he let the door shut behind him. After asking his eyes began to wander about the room, looking at the various trinkets that lie upon the floor and shelves, "And no, I didn't get lost, the directions were clear enough once I found the right landmarks."

Annie raised an eyebrow. Well, this was certainly a complication. She looked questioningly at first the doctor, then Hikari, but both were too engaged in what they were seeing regarding Yami to pay any attention. Annie sighed. She enjoyed being the center of attention. But oh well. It would be better, she realized, to let the two closest to the girl perform what they needed to do. She didn't know what the doctor had in common with the girls, but he said that he had known their father, so Annie reasoned he must be some kind of family friend.
She moved away from the group and back under the counter, rustling around in the back...she knew they were here, somewhere, but they seemed to want to remain hidden. It was aggravating, but eventually, they appeared. She swung back down under the counter and towards the group again, holding two small loaves of bread underneath her arm. "Here, you must be hungry." She offered the bread all around. "It's from what I'm allowed to keep. It's sort of stale, I only get the old loaves, but it's good."
