i lift myself to my feet once the ghasts paralysis has gone. i thank the cleric for his assistance once again, and dust myself off. as i walk out into the hallway with the others, i have a few comments of my own. "i agree, a creature such as that we saw near the entrance should be killed on sight, we cannot leave such a beast to roam and kill. i think we should continue down this hallway, as whatever we are looking for must have been down here, to leave another body behind."

As you travel futher down the hallway, you hear the sound of running water growing nearer. As you travel you notice there are no more doors on the sides, and the muck is now clinging halfway up the walls.
Shortly you find yourselves at an intersection of four tunnels. Two of the tunnels go upward, to the left and right, while ahead the tunnel continues to slope down. The left tunnel has a small but continuous stream of murky water coming down it, then turning down the tunnel ahead. The right tunnel is covered with the muck, but currently has no water running down it. The tunnel ahead has the stream of murky water clinging to the left wall, running swiftly further down. The much in this tunnel is much thicker, and hangs not only from the walls, but from the ceiling above, and water drips down to the floor from the slimy mess.

I check for signs of life or recent use at the entrance to both tunnels.

DeathGod02 I check for signs of life or recent use at the entrance to both tunnels. 16 + 3= 19 serach Though nearly invisible in the muck, you discover boot prints coming from the right hand tunnel, and heading into the watery tunnel ahead.

He piulls his bow and looks back at the others then in a fast pace, but careful not to lose his footing heads down the right tunnel following the boot prints.
" This way hurry there fresh!"

Action Summary: You follow the footprints a short way down the hall, where they turn to a large, partially-closed door. Above the stone doorway the words "The Honored Dead" are inscribed in common.
Current situation: The doorway into this room opens into a spacious stone chamber filled from top to bottom with a series of bookshelves. Tomes and scrolls, swollen with mildew, pack the shelves, some spilling out onto the floor. Most of them seem to be hymnals and religious texts dedicated to St. Bethesda. Several shelves are completely bare, standing out like missing teeth. A large, stone door can be seen in the far, left hand wall.

i follow into the room with everyone else and pick up one of the books, paging through it. "a library way down here, that is the strangest thing i've seen in a long time..." i note

As Uri picks up one of the tomes, it quickly turns to moldy mush in his hands, leaving only the discolored cover.

I begin to walk towards the door, and make search it for any signs of recent use, or anything else of importance"While I do love a good book, I somehow doubt these will be of much help to us, especially if they all do the same as the one Uri here tried to read. I'm going to check this door for anything, it might be a good idea to check the room for anything that might be helpful."

Though the footprints had faded upon entering this room, Tanith discovers that they reappear just before this door, which is closed.

looking up from the floor to the door, I decide it worth opening "Be on guard, for I'm about to attempt to open this door, and it is unknown what will be behind it."I give everyone a little time to ready themselves before attempting to open the door.
