He wasn't stressed, you just didn't like him. He had a slightly higher voice than most guys, that's all.

Actually, no. He sounded like he was forcing it all out. Like it'd been rehearsed and he was rushing through it all. It was unnatural, and stand-up comedy is far better when it flows as if it were normal speech.

Yeah.
Man, I was walking around The Island (Ile Bizard) a few days ago and the thought occurred to me, if I didn't know french I'd be REALLY bad-off around here.
First, there was this cityworkerguy watering some of the plants and flowers next to the sidewalk. Now, his spraygunthing was VERY strong, and it was going on the sidewalk too, like a sprinkler. So I stopped, hoping desperately he wouldn't make me walk through that. Yeah, he stopped. He smiled and yelled something like "Ne t'en fait pas, j'arrose pas tout le monde!" How thankful was I to have understood that? This old, skinny man smiling at me with these yellow-black teeth. I could have been scared. But no, he was very nice. I said something like "pas de problemes!" And smiled back.
Then as I got closer to my house, the farmer was putting garbage on the side of the road and he said "bonjour" to me. I doubt any english person wouldn't have known that one, but still.
I think.. those of us (in Quebec) who are fortunate enough to know both french and english should embrace it instead of always complaining that we only need one language. Because honestly, around here you CAN'T do with just one language. If you choose english, you're surrounded by french people. If you choose french, you won't be able to communicate with any tourists, or go to too many other countries. It's a lose-lose situation.

That's why we should disect the country, and move the entire land mass of Quebec over near Russia. They do not tolerate insubordination! In Soviet Russia, burger eat YOU! scream
We can thus move Newfoundland closer to the rest of the country. .. Oh, and Labrador.
