what's the difference between nerd and geek? i've never understood...
Both are smart, which is why they get confused. However, nerds are more focused on school and the like, whereas geeks have a broader range of knowledge. Nerds, typically, will be similar from place to place, but geeks have a great variety in that they will focus on games, anime and manga, and generally just have odd bits of information that you wouldn't normally expect someone to know. Like me, I know waaay too much wierd stuff, but none of it relates to school. Thus I am a geek.
Q: does anyone else need an explaination of anything?
