ninjanuri2 Swordmaster Raistlin Commonplace Asphyxiation Pfft. Like they'd survive my wrath. "Excuse me boys, but unless you want to sprout green and purple fur and seven-sizes-to-small undergarments for the next week, or end up tied upside down to a tree in the front of the building in naught but women's underwear then leave me be for now. Good day to you." Lolita promptly walked away to the main doors and planning a nap. She considered both were grand ideas that could easily be utilized later. Raistlin turns to Draco, one eye flinched in fear. "This is where not even I have the balls to stay for, if you still are willing to fight meet me deep into the woods. I think that will give her the space she has in mind. And besides I would feel so much safer at this point as far as possible. And off the grounds is as far as I can come up with." At saying this he turned his back and dashed quickly into the woods. As he crossed the grounds he transformed into his Okami Yokai (wolf demon). And now on all fours was now in a flash across the plains and into the forestry. Dracovich laughs as he catches up to Raistlin,"Dude, one, i'm not that stupid, and two, You're on." Draco changes into his were form and keeps up with Raistlin. "you chose the palce though," "I chose this place because it was where I had my first two major battles. I have a little bit of knowledge of its surroundings. And just to warn you, this isn't my only form. I think it would be fair to warn you that the powers of yokai gives me blood of every race. There are only three in the world that possess these powers. Me, Master Kenshin, and a woman that Master Kenshin supposably knows. That is all I'm going to let you in on before we fight." He said dashing off with Draco right beside him.

Raistlin formed back into his human form halfway into a leap and landed in a crouching stance on a branch of a tall tree. "I believe this is a decent enough place, don't you." He said to Draco who was trailing just behind him.

Ritska sighs, stopping as she reaches the crest of a hill and looks down on the mansion that was the Haven.... Haven, she didn't think that title would apply to her if she went there. She must be insane, coming back here.... and asking for a job no less.... Had her recent string of failures and injuries while stealing also caused brain damage? One of them had resulted in her getting a few bones in her hand broken... another in her getting her stabbed through the shoulder... but none of that would lead to her going insane. Still, that was the only excuse for this that she could think of. They'd probably kill her.... unless if she was maybe lucky enough to encounter the guy from the bar... or the one from the library. "Crap." She mutters, turning away. "You idiot." Just because she'd encountered kindness from two or three people here didn't mean anything. They'd probably forgotten all about her, if they were still even around. Ritska hesitates, then takes a seat atop the hill and sighs, trying to make a decision. Test her luck, or come to her senses and get out of here before she became a vampire's snack...

Ritska's ears flick back, hearing somebody outside, not too far off. Looking over her shoulder, she looks around, but the gardens weren't within easy sight for her, though they were in hearing range. Ritska hesitates, then shifts into a fox and gets to her feet, trotting off down the hill to investigate the gardens. The least she could do was maybe beg some food from somebody before leaving again. A few minutes later, Ritska squeezes through some hedges on the edge of the garden, then pauses, crouching down in the shadows of a bush as she glances around, her ears perked forward. She could hear somebody out here, but she hadn't spotted anybody yet.

"Are you still here begging and stealing Ritska? You haven't left for good yet? Have you learned nothing here yet?" The eerie words spoke within her mind itself as Raistlin sent a telepathic voice to her.

Ritska freezes as she hears the words and flinches slightly, instantly trying make herself smaller and more apart of the shadows around her as she quickly glances around. How could he see her? Where had his voice come from? Ritska hesitates, not sure if it'd work, then thinks back. "I... I'm not here to steal..." She admits, sounding hesitant and uncertain as she continues to glance around. Her mind kept telling her she should leave, that she had no place here. They'd never let her stay, nobody would trust her. Ritska glance behind her, then ahead as she starts to edge back.

Your going to have to earn my trust back after all you have pulled here. I'll let you be, as long as you don't do anything to ruin my trust again." He warned before vanishing back into the shadows.

Ritska sighs in relief, surprised he was willing to even give her the benefit of the doubt. "Thank you... um" Ritska hesitated, about to ask him about her staying here for good, but before she could, she sensed his presence fade away again. Ritska's ears flick back, then she shakes her head. She doubted he'd have said yes anyways. Ritska glances around again, then stands and starts to explore the small garden before moving on. She really didn't know where to go, or what to do with herself. All she knew was that for some insane reason she didn't understand, she liked this place, and wanted to find where she might belong here.

Ritska pauses, an ear flicking up, then nods quietly as she hears him 'speak' again. She hoped he understood that last time she hadn't come here to steal because she was greedy. She had only come in hopes of stealing something from rich people, or no people at all, but simply ruins of an old mansion, and getting enough money from it so she'd never have to go hungry again. She hadn't done it for an evil reason.... just to get by really.... and it hadn't gone well. Ritska glances around again, wondering if he was still present or not, then shakes her head and starts to walk through the gardens again.

~~~~~~~~~~ Calli adjusts the horse's bridle again, smiling as she rubs the creature's soft white nose, then walks over to the horse's side and grabs the saddle horn. Steadying herself, Calli takes a deep breath, then pulls herself up and swings over, then settle down into the saddle and smiles, looking around at the glistening landscape. The snow had melted from the pathways by now, though there were still mounds of snow in shadows of hills, and under trees. It was still winter, but it was also the warmest day in weeks and a beautiful day for a ride. Calli smiles softly, then pushes some of her hair from her eyes, before she flicks the reigns and sets out across the landscape.
About 8 weeks had passed since the incident, and nothing had happened. Life went on as usual, and Kenshin and Calli met occasionally, only exchanging eachother's feelings through longing glances, but always keeping a fair distance between eachother and never touching. The weather gradually went from gloomy rainshowers and chilly evenings to a blossoming Spring. Birds of different colors began to chirp and the wildlife that surrounded the Haven became alive again. On a cloudless, sunny day, Kenshin could be seen strolling the perimeters of the estate, as is prowling for some unforseen omen. Kenshin headed through the estate, just taking in that old archicture. Maybe he would head to the dungeons and train today... He ducked into the shadows, heading down the familiar path....
Sveta sighed heavily as she shifted her shawl around her shoulders, the soft gold of her dress glittering in the sun as she stared to the sky. There was a choker around her neck that was a cream and peachy kind of color, the lace not bothering her at all. She seemed like a proper Victorian lady, it was just the clothes that she loved of that time period. She could feel how upset her sister was, how frustrated she was to be trapped in her room without a hope of leaving. Was it cruel of me? No, it was for her own good... And she knows that it's for the good of the estate. Otherwise HE would have come for her. She bent down as she headed towards the Haven, picking a daisy that had been growing, looking at it's white petals as her feet carried her slowly along.
She still felt guilty for making her twin so unhappy when she knew how she felt already. She's decaying...So fast, I know she's going to want to ask them to let her finally rest. She can't take that pain anymore. Any of it. She's breaking, for she knows that because of what she is, she shouldn't have anyone. That she couldn't keep them. She was so lost in thought that she was oblivious to any others around her, not realizing that a small glow was emanating from her, a hazy image of her wings forming from her back. She let the daisy fall to the ground, closing her eyes once more, fearing so for her twin. Lily....lilium, please don't lose hope. Please... She then noticed how her wings were starting to show, making them vanish as she regained her composure...to a point. I already feel something coming, somethings off... I wonder what is happening. Why would He want to marry her now? Especially after all he did to her? He knows she'll refuse... She shook her head, brushing her white hair back, adjusting how she had it tied half up and half down, a cream colored rose clasp keeping her hair in place. Her green-blue eyes stared ahead, wishing there were some way she could help her sister with her feelings.
Picking up a rock along the shore, Ritska turns it over in her hands, gazes off at the setting sun for a moment, then sighs, tossing the rock across the small pond. It skipped once, but she'd thrown it too hard, at too sharp an angle, and it quickly sunk into the watery depths. Ritska frowns and turns away, picking up her bag and shoulders it as she looks back towards the Haven. She knew she wouldn't find her family there, if they even called themselves that any more, and she knew she would find empty rooms if she went home, but she had come back anyways. After all, where else was there to go? "At least I have a job here." She mutters to herself as she starts walking across the fields. Not much time had passed since she'd last stepped foot here, but the kitsune girl looked surprisingly older, more jaded. There was lost innocence, definitely lost hopes. But she felt that was for the best. One couldn't be a child forever. Taking out a cigarette, she thinks about lighting it, then reaching the road tucks it away for later and keeps walking, kicking up dirt along the path as she headed for the Haven.
