lana, you need a hug! *huggles* surprised heart ooo wow things are expensive sweatdrop jackets are a $100? eek are they like a big thing in your school? you could opt for not getting one, but i know how it feels to want stuff especially if its a big deal stressed you're a junior right? here's what i think.....you should definately go to prom and get a yearbook during senior year 3nodding you shouldnt miss out on those things razz go with your friends to prom, a date is not absolutely necessary sweatdrop where to get money from....? hmmm that is a problem emo being smart is cool because you'll get scholarships for college wink
the job issue is really important....perhaps you're parents can get temporary jobs to pay bills and stuff. you could earn some money by babysitting or some other small job razz i dont know if that will help but it could....
all i can do is give you advice, maybe some part of it will be helpful redface

I think race has to do with a lot of things. There is a lot of discrimination out there and sure I might be adding on to it but when my mom goes to a job interview, she will always have the problem of losing a job to a less qualified person because of her broken english and pointed eyes. You can't deny the fact that if someone looks on paper and they see a name like Le or Nguyen next to Smith or Johnson they aren't going to choose the latter.
Thanks for the advice Clue. I think I will get the free jacket, not put anything on it. My cous said he knows a place to get things like that cheap cause the company doing this is ripping everyone off.
As for prom, I was kinda kidding about that and even if I was dead set on not going I bet my friends would force me just to see me in a dress. That and everyone is dying to give me a makeover seeing as make-up has never touched my face. burning_eyes

Why is that whenever I think of people discriminating others I think of white people? I mean that right there is discrimination cause I am assuming that. I mean white people are nice, really they are. They just have a bad history with the native americans, and the blacks, and the japanese....and middle easterns... vietnamese too... eek Ok, very bad history, but that doesn't mean I should judge an entire race like that. I'm columbian. It's ok Lana..You're not a bad person. Anyways, I got a 94 in Earth Science, 86 in Spanish, 86 in Math, 93 in Global, 95 in English, 95 in P.E., 97 in art, and 99 in Comp Apps.
