What Your Uniform Looks Like: Black pants, Jacket: One half maroon, the other black, silver piping at an angle down across the front. Black hat and ploome (Ploom, I don't know which one lol) Favorite Song to Play: "With Quiet Courage" I played it in 1st band at SEMBDA (South East Mississippi Band Directors Association). Our director was Bruce Pearson (The creator of the "Standard of Excellence" teaching series, and one of my idols). It was written by one of his friends... It was the most moving piece of music. When you play it, it can bring you to tears. Interests: BAND. Video games, computers, other things. Other Gaian Hang Outs: My "Weird" Al Yankovic threadand numerous other guilds. Other Online Hang Outs: My Space Personality: I'm a leader, to be honest. Not only am I just a leader, I play the part in my band. I'm the captain of the brass (and just a sophomore xd ) and the band LT.... I am a kind, all around guy. Any other Additional Info: I've attended numerous band clinics taking mainly first band status. Recieved awards over the years from my band such as: Most Imporved Brass, Outstanding Brass of the Year, Outstanding Marcher of the Year, and others. Attended Southern Miss All-South Marching Band day for the past 4 years. Recieved a rating of Superior in all of my solo and ensembles for as long as I have been going (4 yrs.) Adding up to 7 medals. yays!! I remain the standing Brass Captain, and Crew Captain (Making sure everthing is where it needs to be in order for shows to take place, also on the road in charge of getting everything transported where it is needed)

Instrument(s): (French) Horn. And a bit of penny whistle but thats only for when my fingers get sluggish.
Name of Your Band: It just gets called Wind Band. I call it band.
What Your Uniform Looks Like: Its my school uniform minus the blazer. So thats black trousers/skirt, black shoes, white blouse/shirt and a red/black striped tie. Oh, and we wear the blazer while going places to keep warm/scare other schools. It's blazer with a red braid round the edge. I have a white braid too since I'm a prefect (mwahahahaa). And its fuzzy, smells funny and has big shoulders.
Favorite Song to Play: Phantom of the Opera theme, the evil sounding one that I get to play really loudly in. Star Wars and Juarassic park are also good if we have timpani.
Interests: Music, pondering while being cozy, pondering while listening to music, radio, the internet while listening to music, making music and did I mention music?

Any other Additional Info: I'm 16 and am the only horn in the entire school. And have been the only horn for the time I've been there. I've been playing 4 and a half years. I have my own beautiful shiney horn since the bbc is wonderful. Thats preyy much it.

What Your Uniform Looks Like: Blue, white, silver, with a really fluffy white plume on the shakos.
Favorite Song to Play: Hmm...Probably 'Symphonic Songs for Band'. It kicks butt. But I also greatly enjoy playing my freshmen show, 'Heartbeat'.
Interests: Well, really band is my main interest, but I like to draw and write as well.
Personality: I enjoy the most I can out of life. I don't like people being angry with so I'm a pleaser but if I really don't want to do something than I'm stubborn. x_x I also contradict myself a lot...
Any other Additional Info: I was flute/piccolo section leader this year and have done indoor drumline(Pit: Bells, chimes and vibes) for one year and winter guard for two years.

Uniform: we actually have one uniform with different chest plates that makes us look fatter thn usual (I'm not fat my self)

Personality: control freak, crazy funny, and mentally hilarious.
Other info: Switched to horn last year because we only have like three. Ended up being the best horn so I was made their DI and section leader. Drum Major auditions came my senior year and the band director offered me to not try out so I could march with the horns instead of conducting. I declined his offer and tried out either way. I ended up npt getting drum major so the band director gave me head section leader. Some people say that the auditions were riged since it ws the directors decision who got to be drum major. Anyway life goes on.

Name of Your Band: Los Altos Eagle Marching Band
What Your Uniform Looks Like: Band has a classic blue and grey uniform, black marching hats and white cocks. Pretty simple. The best part of being in guard means new outfits every year! First year we had tan tunics with black jazz pants and black jazz boots. Second year we had this stained glass type tunic one-sleev shirts and burgendy jazz pants with black jazz boots. Crazy make-up and hair, we had pipe-cleaners and ribbon and face-paint! It was crazy awesome. Last year, wow... I don't remember... Oh, we had this one piece, it was a charcoal black with a purplish burgendy down the middle and a matching color ribbon criss-cross down the middle.
Favorite Song to Play: Never played in the band, but I loved performing to the band version of Led Zepellin (Kashmir, Stairway to Heaven, and When the Levee Breaks) and our show last year, New Century Dawn (New Century Dawn, Stained Glass, and Lento aka the most beautiful song known to man). We took sweepstakes that year!!!!
Interests: Color guard! It's my life lol. I love animals though, I really do. I get distracted by cute guys, I've hit my head with my sabre one too many times at competitions because of that lol. I just love hanging out and seeing what love has to throw at me.
Other Gaian Hang Outs: Lol, it's my second day... So this is my first guild ^__^
Other Online Hang Outs: I actually don't get online much, and if I do it's usually for research or what not. I'm an aim and do hw kind of gal myself.
Personality: I'm a rollercoaster lol. I'm bubbly, hyper, friendly, but very shy. I say random things that usually end up embarassing myself and then I hid behind my hands, people say I'm adorable. I think they secretly think I'm a dork ^__^
Any other Additional Info: Nothing really, I'm not looking forward to guard next year... he fired our instructor who took our guard and make it into something for us girls to be proud of. Then last year was a nightmare, two of our three instructors got fired because we all complained and the director wouldn't listen so we went to his sister-in-law (who was helping with the dance part and because none of our actual coaches could be there everyday). It was... arg... we came in last, and like 7th or 9th at WBA for A-AAA bands... ew... He got rid of the entire staff practically. And the one person who stayed that I liked, is going to a different new tech high school opening up next year T-T
OH! We're a AA band competing in AAA competition, yay small bands!
