reagun ban Aesi There's a sign of how divorced I am from Irishmen when I can't even recognize the features of my own people. That kinda goes with never having been here. I'd go to my mother island if I could even afford a passport. I'm sorry! crying

I say this because my great grandfather was Irish, I have an Irish passport + citizenship, I've lived here for the past five years and I still don't consider myself Irish. I never have been and never will be.

She is Irish, but not a Celt and certainly not a Gael.

Aesi Erm.. Why the call for analysis? You're making me nervous over here. ninja Don't mind us. Just a lot of Americans tend to come over here and pretend to be Irish when they don't have any legitimate claim to the country. That's not the case, so all is good. Don't worry yourself over it. 3nodding Reagun: Thanks for the clarification.

That the winner gets all of them and in one of them when I came back to my computer from allowing it to load, I let out a girlish giddy laugh that had my husband looking at me funny?

What a vision that inspires. burning_eyes My dear YHWH, I never promised not to look. -gasp- Wait! If we're pooling our money, does that mean we have to split the pics? Or do all contributors to the winning bid get all the pics?

5.8k!
I'm nothing Irish. There might be some welsh somewhere in the line, but that was probably just sheep, and in any case-if I'm going to lay claim to anything its a tossup between German and "Southern"
But really, I'm either a Nazi or a Confederate. My family picks the wrong side, every time.

Aesi Oh, my. What a vision that inspires. burning_eyes My dear YHWH, I never promised not to look. -gasp- Wait! If we're pooling our money, does that mean we have to split the pics? Or do all contributors to the winning bid get all the pics? All winning bidders get all pics e-mailed to them at the same time- as long as they agree that the pics will be used the same way by all of them. That is to say- when I auctioned off Fiddler- both of the winners opted not to look. If you want to look, you have to have the whole pool agree that is okay. Aesi Wait a second. How is it that a person can be any ethnicity a couple times over? o0 Born, then sworn? Or born Celt a couple times over? Wha... I'm both a p-Celt and a q-Celt, by adoption and marriage. It's funny really. My heritage is part Scot, part Irish, part Slav and Domari. I have only really connected with the Rroma community- but because of the situation by which my Baba married my great grandfather, there is a lot of Slavic traditions that are kept alive in my family. I never held anything but a passing interest in the different kinds of Celtic Heritage until I was adopted by my wonderful brother and Priest, and I married a Celt who left the Islands to come to the States and be with me. I hear 5.8k! Can I get a 5.9k?
