Thorival Reseria

Thorival is standing behind Kisa as she prepares dinner, looking over her work when he hears the door open and he turns to face the new entry.

"Ah, Altiar, please this kitchen is for staff only, you can wait for the meal in the mess hall if you look, would you like me to escort you out?"

He takes a step forward, actually annoyed that his time with Kisa was interrupted. Thorival can't help but be annoyed as he is starting to really enjoy his time with her.

"Kisa, I will be right back, alright? I want to iron out the plans for the trip soon...."

Odstarva

Odstarva nodded, and didn't waste another moment, exiting the room and walking down the hallway. He didn't walk too fast, making sure that he was following at about Prism's set pace. He let out a small sigh, honestly feeling guilty about what had happened to her earlier.

"I'm.... really sorry, for putting you in that situation with Jun. I should not have allowed you three to go up there without me. He would never have done that with a holy weapon around. I won't allow that to happen again.... I hope you can forgive me, Miss Prism..." The Archangel said to her, looking at her as they walked. His eyes flicked up just in time to see Jun of all people stalking down the hallway with his large, wide shoulders, not giving a ******** who he smacked against if someone wasn't paying attention while walking near him.

It's been far too long since we had a good ********. Hurry up and find a new slave. I'll try not to break the next one too quickly this time.

Odstarva was already tensed up as Jun started walking towards them, unsure of what the dragon's intent was. It sounded.... like.... Jun was talking to himself, inside of his head. That normally wasn't super un-usual, people often did have conversations with themselves inside of their heads.... but this felt... different.... It confused Od for a moment, and he took a pause in his steps as Jun got close to the two of them.

"You and I need to have a discussion, Ryojin. I hope you don't think I take you threatening one of us lightly, I--" Jun brushed past the two angels, completely ignoring Odstarva. He paid no attention to the fact he had been only an inch from his massive body smacking against Prism as he walked past. He didn't seem to even acknowledge the two of them existed, let alone one of them speaking to him.

Odstarva ground his teeth a little inside of his closed jaw, resisting the urge to explode at Jun. Was he REALLY ignoring him!? And he almost slammed right into Prism.... Normally Jun was just an all round a*****e, but something told Odstarva to stay the hell away from the monster while he was like this. Something wasn't right about him right now, and he couldn't pin-point what exactly, but it was making a soft alarm go off in his head.

"Fine. We will talk later." He breathed out, and looked at Prism. "Are you alright?" Odstarva asked, genuinely worried after Jun had gotten that close to her after such a scary moment only hours ago.

Kisa looked over her shoulder at Thorival leaving her side to talk to Altair. "O-Oh, umn.. okay... It's okay, Thorival." She said softly, looking to demon boy now. "D-Did you need something, Wraith?"

Altair (Wraith)

Altair frowned at basically being shoved away by Thorival. What was he gonna do, poison the food or ransack the place? He wanted to start arguing, but he thought twice before opening his mouth when Kisa asked him what he needed.

Her words from before rang softly in the back of his mind, being silent for a moment before he answered her.

"Uh, a snack. I'm aware dinners gonna be ready soon, but I haven't eaten recently." Altair replied, scratching his neck in an almost awkward way. The pastel elf still made him second guess everything about himself, and it was throwing him off. Her healing him and fixing his mask, not to mention seeing him in such a pathetic condition just made him overall made him feel ashamed. She saw exactly what he was, a scared, scarred, and defenseless kid.

"Actually, nevermind. I don't want to make dinner take longer. I don't need anything."

Prism looked good Odstarva with a tiny frown. She herself felt bad about the entire situation too, because she decided to speak up at the wrong time to the wrong person. It was just a sad little reminder that she should remain silent. It only caused problems to speak up...

"O-Of course I forgive you, it wasn't your fault r-really. I should have just done as I was asked without intervening." She gave a sad little smile to the floor, shaking her head to clear up all her gloomy thoughts and words. Her blue eyes looked up at Jun just before he came stomping past them both, letting out a startled squeak at just how narrowly she avoided being trampled. Her gaze was kept on him as he kept walking, not even acknowledging that he had almost SQUISHED the both of them!

"I'm okay..." She said quietly, trying to calm herself a little. If anything, it just startled her.

Thorival Reseria

When Kisa ask's Altair if he needed anything, he stops moving
immediately and stands at the ready.

"Sorry Kisa, I just assumed that you didn't want his presence here. Please forgive my insolence."

He turns to bow to her and after he does so for a couple seconds, he does the same to Altair.

"Please Altair, come in and have a snack. I can show you our chips or our appetizers"

He walks behind the demon and begins walking towards the food bar inside the kitchen that has what he explained was there before.

"Oh it's okay, Wraith, we don't mind. Please come in an grab something to snack on while you wait for dinner to be done. Trying to find everyone set us back a little bit, so it's going to be at least an hour or so from now..." Kisa said to him, and blushed softly at seeing Thorival bow to her.

"A-Aa... umn... y-you really don't need to be so formal, Thorival... I-It's not necessary...." The angel said, a little nervously. It really made her uncomfortable having someone be so formal with her, but for some reason it bothered her even more with Thorival specifically. They were equals, and he always treated her like she was on a pedestal... She didn't want to be treated different than anyone else, but especially not by him. He might have been considered a Fallen angel, but to her, he was as pure of an Angel as any of them.

Kisa gestured to the cupboards after putting her gaze back on Altair's form. "There's lots of snacks in those cupboards over there, help yourself, okay?"

Odstarva shook his head slightly. "No, quite frankly I agree with what you said to him. Full-Heartedly. He shouldn't intentionally cause more work for any of you, let alone be a complete an utter a**. He was just testing to see how far Kisa would go to keep him appeased. He likes mind games..."

He let out an irritated sigh, letting go of his grip on the handle of his sheathed holy sword. He always tensed up around that stupid dragon beast. And it endlessly frustrated him that Jun had no much sway over him. He wasn't usually emotional. But that man just.... triggered him. And he couldn't seem to stop getting angry, even just looking at Jun's face or hearing his voice sent him on edge. It was pathetic.

Od started walking with her again, continuing on to the kitchen.

"I will not allow him to hurt anyone else... Never again..."

Or at least, not the Angels. He had almost zero control over what he did to fellow demons....

Especially not her.... He won't harm another innocent woman ever again, not on my watch. I will fight him to the death if I have to.

Altair (Wraith)

Altair had no idea how to react to Thorival bowing to him. He just stood there awkwardly, staring at him. Why did he just bow? There was no reason to, whatsoever. Didn't the angels despise bowing to "lowly scum" like him? Once Thorival stood back up, he nodded slowly to the both of them.

"Alright..." He said in a quieter tone, before deciding to at least be a bit more polite towards the both of them. "T-Thank you." He added, the words a bit clumsy as he spoke them.

Before he fully entered the room, he had a bit of a mental struggle with the decision to set his weapon down or keep it with him. It wasn't like he needed it, or that he would be attacked in the kitchen of all places... He finally just decided to quit being so paranoid and propped it next to the wall. He left it away from his reach for once, and followed Throival to where he said some snacks and stuff was. He looked to the cupboards, before reaching up and popping one open.

Quite frankly, being in here with them felt strange. People being kind to him felt even stranger, especially after seeing at least two of his little violent fits. It was a little hard to admit, but he actually enjoyed the small amount of relief it provided. He had always been on edge his entire life around people, he didn't exactly know how to communicate positively all the time. There was always that doubt, that lingering suspicion that they would all turn their backs on him at any second.

Still, he felt the need to even apologize for his presence. He felt so out of place, a demon like him in a room of angels, even if Thorival had once been an inhabitant of hell. It made him feel ashamed and lowly, just like he had been told over and over before. He was a lowly piece of trash that would be better of dead.

"I'm sorry for causing trouble for all of you." The words came out before he could think about keeping his trap shut. It made him feel so guilty that he just couldn't keep the words from coming out.

Prism's gaze turned upwards towards the archangel as the walked, and then back towards the ground. She felt a pang of pity for Odstarva, because she could come to the conclusion that Jun had probably done something really bad to make Odstarva hate him so much. It made her a bit sad, because she was very sure Odstarva had probably never done anything to deserve whatever Jun did.

The Neko cleared her throat softly, taking this chance to change the subject. " I haven't heard what Kisa is planning for dinner, has she told you yet? She always makes such amazing food, I'm excited to see what she had planned for dinner." She smiled a little, looking up at the archangel again.

I don't want to see him upset anymore... It's been a long day, we all need some good rest and a break.

Josef

After a while, Josef walks into the Kitchen to follow after Altair because for some reason the fixation onto the poor lower demon is bringing the Arch Demon much joy.

He pokes his head in and looks around in the kitchen to see all the people working there, Kisa and Thorival. With a smile he waves.

"Hello, can I have a crap ton of strawberries and whipped cream and maybe some chocolate dip? I am having a REALLY bad sugar craving right now and I really think the chocolate will get that REALLLLLLLY good."

Josef then enters in more, and begins striding over to Altair with a huge grin.

"Look at you being all buddy buddy with the Angels. You are one step closer to being redeemed. Have you made any plans for when you finally get to enter heaven and be its citizen? I mean, it must be a paradise and you must be planning to have all the fruits, the pearly white clouds and houses..... You must be sooooo excited."

Kisa
The Beacon of Light

Kisa shook her head, smiling softly.

"It's not causing us trouble. We get requests all the time..." She said softly, feeling a little saddened that he had such a timid demeanor. Did he really think his existence was such a bother all the time? It made her heart hurt a little... what could cause someone to think that? Nothing good....

As if right on que, Josef walked into the kitchen and made a request of his own. Yeah. Josef was mostly the one making all the requests around here, especially stuff from the kitchen...

"Umn... well, I know there's chocolate, and strawberries... but we don't have any whipped cream at the moment, as I usually make that from scratch." She went over to the fridge and got out a single bowl of strawberries. "I'm a bit low on strawberries because I'm making strawberry shortcake tomorrow. But these are the ones I have left, you can have them." The pastel angel then got out some chocolate, and put some in a pot on the stove, with a small bit of oil in it to keep it from burning as it melted. "The chocolate will take a few minutes...."

Most people would find all of his constant requests really annoying... But it didn't bother Kisa. Only because she knew Josef could be being bad, and wreaking havoc on the entire hotel. Or trying to start fights like with Altair.... so as long as he was asking nicely, and behaving himself, she wanted to reward good and polite behavior. They were reasonable requests, after all. It wasn't like he was asking for drugs, or running off with stuff without asking. So she didn't mind.

Kisa then went back to working on dinner preparations, chopping vegetables and the like, occasionally stirring the chocolate.

"I'll be making whipped cream tomorrow for the cake, if you still want some then?"

Odstarva was trying not to look like anything but stoic on the outside... But his attempts at being strong and stern looking always faltered when it came to Jun. Somehow, he always drug the emotions out of him. It was only a slight angry expression for a moment, and then his face turned slightly sad. He kept his eyes forward, walking along beside Prism.

I failed her. I've spent all these years working to get stronger so it doesn't happen again.... but even with all of this power, it's a gamble to fight him... Will I ever be strong enough to win a fight against him..? I don't see it ending anyway else. If I have to die to take him down, I will.

He was brought out of his train of thought by Prism changing the subject entirely. He very much appreciated it, Odstarva hated get lost in his head. He was obsessed, and he didn't want to be. The distraction was greatly appreciated.

"Actually, I don't know, either... Hopefully it's something that doesn't take too long, all of these demons are restless without the food distraction. We really need to start some gym classes, or something else to keep all of them occupied. We can't have them always sneaking around in their rooms, or pestering you and Kisa. Pretty soon we might even have twice this many demons around, with how quickly new comers have showed up already... If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them."

Aaaaaaaaaaand as soon as they reached the kitchen, much to Odstarva's annoyance, two demons were in the kitchen getting free food and bugging Kisa while she was trying to cook.

..... ugh. So Predictable... At least they're staying out of trouble.... for now...

Altair (Wraith)

Altair had grabbed a bag of raisins after looking at all the snack options, tossing the bag up and catching it a few times after he made his selection. Raisins were good enough, he wasn't a huge fan of much else. Ever since he could stand by himself, he let himself get kinda picky with what he ate. It was a bad habit, because at one point or another, he probably wouldn't be able to be so picky down here.

"Okay, I'm just going to take these and go-" He stopped mid sentence after hearing Josef's voice, immediately frowning. Was he following him? Or was it some weird a** coincidence the archdemon popped his head into the kitchen to demand food? Either way, he just wanted to run off and go shove some raisins in his face, ALONE.

"Closer than you are to being redeemed. And yeah, I'll write you a letter about how amazing it is when I get there before you." He replied dryly, inching over towards his axe that he propped against the wall a few moments ago. "As I was saying, I will take my bag of raisins and get out of everyone's hair."

Leave me alone leave me alone leave me alone eat your ******** strawberries and let me leave

"Well, maybe gym classes are a good idea. They seem to get pretty restless after regular classes, so maybe that physical part would make them less temped to start trouble? If they're physically tired and mentally tired, they probably won't try as hard to make problems." Prism was pretty much thinking out loud now as she answered, and so far she thought her logic was correct, but you never really know with demons. Josef would probably be willing to fight anyone anytime... Jun was probably the same.

The white neko's ears perked up as she heard the other two demons in the kitchen along with Kisa and Thorival. She was sure they were hungry, dinner was a little late already. So, hopefully they wouldn't cause issues in the kitchen that would make dinner take longer. By the sound of it, they were actually behaving and just chatting, but Altair's annoyed tone stood out a little to her.
Hopefully the both of them would just call it quits and stop agitating eachother...

Josef

After staring at Altair after he just said that, the demon just busts out laughing.

"OH LORDY, You think you can get redeemed before me? Is this really a competition that you want to make of this? Oh man, This is quite the.... Quite the joke. If you were wanting to be redeemed so bad you wouldn't be so..... Condescending and rude! You wouldn't talk back to superiors!"

Josef can't help but laugh heartily. The entire concept with that retort of being redeemed and going to heaven is just so...... So..... Hypocritical! Holding it over other's heads in an act of faux superiority when broken down physically and having to have the mental, superiority is what gets Josef filled with laughter.

After he finishes laughing, he wipes a tear out of his left eye and just hugs himself to calm himself down from the laughing fit he just had.

After listening to Kisa speak, he strides over to her and accepts the Strawberries.

"Ah thank you, could you take it up to my room when you do have it made? Zuni would REALLLY love some..... Whipped Cream...."

Altair (Wraith)

I was being sarcastic, a*****e. I know I'm not going to heaven. Altair thought with a roll of his eyes, growing more irritated the more than the archdemon laughed. Was it really possible for someone to be THIS annoying all the ******** time? He really did want to just fire more insults and give him apiece of his mind, but he chose not to. It wasn't worth it.

"I don't recall making you my superior, but whatever you say." He grumbled under his breath, snatching his axe and slinging it over his shoulder. He stuffed the bag of raisins into his pocket, and hesitated before taking a step towards the door. Was being completely alone a super good idea? Josef was annoying as ********, but he didn't really want to chance being without "angel supervision". It did feel like being babysat, but he would rather have that then get his a** cornered but this freak show. Not after what he saw when they were sparring.

The masked demon turned around and hopped up on a section of the counter that currently didn't have anything on it, propping the axe next to him again. His raisins would have to wait, he had bigger issues than hunger.

Just going to do a Time Skip here

Josef

After about three days, when the angels are having one of their classes talking about how Sins can be a gateway to doing bad deeds, while virtues can be a gateway to doing good things and how in order to be truly redeemed, one must practice both to bring balance to oneself so they can grow and be at a milestone in their redemption, Josef enters the room not even caring that he is about fifteen minutes late.

"Yo Guys, I have to introduce you all to someone."

He smiles as he scans the room, his head stopping when he locks eye contact with one person then moves on to the other.

"As you all know, Zuni has been feeling very ill these past days.... I am afraid that she also lost her memory so please.... welcome her with warm arms as she says hi and meets you all again."

The archdemon pats the head of the person standing behind him, acting all timid and holding on to his shirt like a lost, scared child.

"Come on Zuni, introduce yourself. These are going to be faces we will see every single day now."

After saying that, he gently urges Zuni forward so she can face the classroom's inhabitants.

Zuni

Zuni was really, really nervous. And a bit scared. But it was better than how she was a few days ago. She had woken up, having no idea where she was. Her body had changed drastically, in both shape, size, and added features. Her hair was green, when it used to be a brilliant white. Her body was now taller, and curvy. And now she had tiny horns and small little wings on her back. It was quite a bit different than she remembered being. And she was in a new, terrifying place. She had even looked out the window, and there was dirty filth on fire outside, with demons running amok killing each other for territory.

Last Zuni had remembered, she was ten years old. The last thing she had remembered, before waking up here, was being locked in a cold, wet bunker, chained up like a prisoner. As much as she didn't like being there, being here was scary, also... Seeing Josef had first made her scared, too, but he had spent the last three days convincing her that he wasn't as frightening as he seemed. In fact, he was pretty nice. To her, anyway. He was much kinder to her than her capture had been to her. So it was easy for Josef to earn her trust.

So, even though she was absolutely terrified to leave that room, and enter a classroom full of demons, Josef had convinced her to brave it out. Her heart was beating a million beats a second, and she clung onto the back of his shirt. Zuni wanted to hide behind him forever and never come out. Maybe no one would notice her.

I can't believe I'm down in Hell... I tried so hard to be a good girl... What did I do to get sent down here? This place is scary... I want to go back to the room! Zuni mentally whimpered to herself, her knees shaking slightly. Earth was frightening.... but this place was a whole new level. The only thing that gave her comfort was Josef being here to protect her, and of course the fact that there were angels. Were they really here to help them redeem themselves? Maybe these demons were nice?

Zuni let out a small squeak as Josef stepped away from her and pushed her forward in front of him. Her fluffy fox-like tail timidly went between her legs, desperately wanting to crawl back behind him and hide again. But he had urged her repeatedly before they had left to come to class, and she had promised not to run away. So as much as she wanted to hide under a desk, she didn't want to disappoint him.

"H-H-Hello... I-I'm... Zuni....." Her eyes were pink, instead of the dangerous shade of purple they normaly were. They flicked down to the floor, getting too nervous to look anyone in the eye. She really didn't remember a single one of them... did she really know them before?

Wynter

Wynter had been trying to pay some attention to class, but it was a struggle. It wasn't that much had happened over the three days chaos-wise, actually, things had been calmer than usual. Either that or she hadn't taken notice. The biggest thing on her mind was how stupid she felt for believing that quitting her addiction to booze would be that easy.

She had given up some time after Zuni went with Josef, and stopped taking the Diazepam Kisa had prescribed to her. So, by the next morning, she opened that bottle she had kept hidden. Although her body had gone so long without it that it still rejected the beer. It pissed her off, and now her room was completely trashed from her little mental breakdown. Only then afterwards did she realize that she didn't have any other bottles after she threw up that last one. Now, she had two choices. Either take the Diazepam again and start all over, or find a way to smuggle more beer into her room. Despite being as desperate as she was, she took her meds again. So now, she felt as sick as she did when she first stopped drinking. It ******** sucked.

Her thoughts were interrupted by Josef, and her first thought when he showed up was "damn it". She was hoping he would just up and disappear, but of course that wouldn't happen. Then, as she listened to him, the surprise on her face when Zuni revealed herself was quite evident.

What..... the ********. No ******** way. How... WHAT THE ******** just stared as Zuni acted so differently than the Zuni she had met before. This was a joke, right? No way, from what she knew of Zuni, she wasn't the shy and flustered type, at all. So... That meant Josef wasn't lying. He literally beat her until she couldn't even remember exactly where and what she was doing here. Her stomach did uneasy flips as guilt gnawed at the back of her head. What if she had tried to stop him? Would it have made a difference? She felt so angry though that he had no regrets about doing what he did, and completely thrown off by the fact Zuni was acting like... Kisa and Prism.

"You... How did she lose her memory? Huh? Did you push her down the ******** stairs? Or she was just so ill that her memory just... ascended into the air in the form of her ******** germs?"

Damn right I'm calling you out on this s**t you ******** monster...

Prism stared quietly at the pair, and was more than confused at Zuni's behavior. That was really weird... Zuni didn't act like that, ever. At least from what she knew... A small voice inside her told her some thing was super wrong here, because her being ill and just... losing her memory like that was just... not right. Something wasn't adding up here.

The neko looked to the other three angels with a confused look. Were they picking up on this too, or was it just her? Her gaze turned to Zuni again, biting her bottom lip. Then Wynter started talking, and she knew she wasn't the only one knowing something was up.

Altair had his legs kicked up on the table as he listened to the lecture, bored out of his mind but still paying attention. Finally, something new happened and Josef came through the door spewing about how Zuni lost her memories or something, which he immediately thought was bullshit, unless of course he was the one to make her lose her memory. It was super weird seeing the kitny act all shy and quiet. It made him wonder just how much of her memory she had actually lost.

Josef

"Well then, no you I didn't push her down the stairs. I also have no idea how or why she lost her memories. I am sure it had nothing to do with me."

His bi colored eyes locked on Wynter's eyes, he continues speaking. Josef's demeanor used to be an upbeat, giddy boy's one, but after being called out by Wynter, it went immediately to sour town and his smile turned into a frown.

"Please try not yelling profanities to the memory lost Zuni... she is quite vulnerable and could see you as a very mean demon.... She is really really scared about being around demons and if you are loud and angry, she will probably fear you."

While saying that, he brings the timid Kitney into a hug and continues looking at her, his face showing contempt and irritation.

"I mean, I have never, ever yelled and blamed YOU for anything have I? You always try to pass the buck onto me and you always blame me for one reason or another. Maybe if you accept responsibility for your problems and actually strove to change...."

With a toothy smile, he sways back and forth slowly with Zuni still in his arms.

"You will have the drive to stop drinking and maybe stop being such. a cold. Hearted. b***h. Oh wait. Your name is Wynter, you NEVER will stop being a Stone. Cold. Hearted. b***h."
