It was a dig at your post, not directly your family. You must have had some sort of idea what you're posting about in both cases, so it's fair to assume that you watch the O.C and sleep with relatives for you to have any sort of argument.

I wasn't going to get involved, but everyone appears to be taking things a tad too literally or personally. Even if you aren't it is how it is coming across. That is all I'm going to say on the matter. I don't really have anything to add to the conversation involving the O.C. or incest, having not had and not intending to have experience of either!

But... It's the O.C! You have to experience it to know if you like it or, if you have taste issues, not. xp That's it, I'm borrowing the DVD's, tying you to a chair and making you watch them. I may have reltions with a family member at the same time. 3nodding

I think I'm more likely to bite the family pillow than watch the OC.

I saw a bizarre Spanish film called "Intacto" the other day. It was kinda confusing, especially since I missed the beginning. I think it was good. I can't quite make my mind up!

Missing the beginning of any film really makes you feel a bit out of place. It's even worse with obscure forein films, I was watching a french film, I only missed the first five minutes and nothing made sence, that's another hour and a half that was fun but confusing.

Watching Harry Potter in German is way more fun than watching it in English.

I saw 'Dark City' directed by Alex Proyas (also the director of 'The Crow') the other day. It was enjoyable. It was rather flawed in many ways and the main fight was laughable but it had some cool concepts and imagery. Keifer Sutherland was extremely oddly cast I thought and I felt a bit uncomfortable with that throughout the entire film. Richard O'Brian of Crystal Maze fame is very well cast as are the leading Male (Rufus Sewell) and female (Jennifer Connelly). I think visually and stylistically it was very nice. I would recommend giving it a watch.
Many people compare this to The Matrix and say it ripped it off. It was however, released before The Matrix and on a far lower budget. Whilst the two films explore similar themes Dark City is a lot more story based. The Matrix relied a lot on it's effects budget. The subject tackled is not anything new or original, it has been explored many times before in many media. The difference is in how effectively portrayed the concept is. I personally would say that in this particular case Dark City pulls it off a lot better.
