Of course he was taking this seriously. It wasn't everyday he got to ask a guy to sneak behind his befriends' back. Kieran had to understand that this was all new for him too. The last thing he wanted was to be caught by an angry Abel. He didn't see any reason that that man needed to know about them. Just as he saw no reason that his own boss and colleagues should know. He could only imagine what Cornelius might say or do if he were to find out. Nothing good, no doubt.

Jakob took a moment to think before spilling the rest of his terms. He didn't mind if Kieran laughed this time. But he was dead serious about the choking bit. A little light choking was all fun and games until the world started to get hazy. He saw nothing wrong with attempting to defend himself if Kieran got out of hand. If he wanted to decorate his neck with the usual way with kisses and bite marks, that was fine. But not with a ******** hand print. He couldn't afford to have Cornelius getting the wrong idea and asking unnecessary questions.

He understood why Kieran might be reluctant to coming over. He honestly wasn't ever expecting him to come over just because of his living situation. He listened to the man speak, and nodded along quietly. "Actually that's probably a fair point. Some of those guys are well connected and have been apart of other groups in the past. They'd probably be able to spot Abel's BFF in a heartbeat." he replied honestly. As the conversation turned towards talk of going out, he could not help smiling a bit. "Oh? Just where you would take me? And don't say fast food. I'll break up with now if you do." he teased.

There was no reason for Miguel to worry about choking him unconscious. Kieran found no thrill in such thing. He rather preferred his lover aware and conscious of everything going on. Kieran didn't mind a little teasing but he wouldn't hurt Miguel at least on purpose. He wasn't like Abel, he found no excitement out of harming lovers or those who wandered too close.

Kieran nodded as Miguel spoke. He didn't need word to get back to Abel about him sleeping with the enemy. Keiran worried what Abel would do when the time came for him to find out about them. Sleeping with Miguel at the club was merely curiosity, now he was just pushing it by agreeing to be his boyfriend, if that's what he was.

Turning the conversation toward something more positive. He watched as Miguel smiled. Keiran laughed softly as Miguel teased him. He drew his hand out pulling Miguel closer toward him. ”Well what do you like to eat then?” Kieran asked curiously wanting to know more about Miguel's likes and dislikes.

Right now it was easy to say that he had nothing to worry about. For now, he could believe Kieran. But in the back of his mind he did have to wonder what might happen further down the line. What if they had another argument or Kieran got pissed off for no reason? Could Kieran still control himself even then? He wanted to think he could, but there would be no real telling unless such an event happened.

As the topic changed Jakob started to relax, even going so far to make a joke. He allowed the male to pull him closer and he moved to lie down next to him. Jakob watched the man as he questioned him again. "The stuff I really like you won't be able to find around here. I'll have to go back home for that. But around here I mostly like Asian, Mexican, and a few smaller European shops. They're literally the only places that know how to flavor anything. Everything else is just completely bland." he replied. Jakob couldn't help being a bit picky when it came to his food. After all, through his years he was constantly bouncing back and forth between Brazil and Germany. Both his parents were well off enough that he got to travel when he with either parent. When he was with his mother, they explored neighboring countries like Poland, France, and Denmark. While with his father they went to Colombia, Venezuela, and Peru. In all of them, he never once ate fast food. Instead, they went to food stalls and little mom and pop shops. Places, he almost could never find around here.

Kieran wasn't likely to fight with violence. If anything he knew how to walk away as he had done last night. He only used violence in defense not over a fight. Miguel could worry if he wanted to after all, they barely knew each other. They were bound to argue more if only to get to know each other better.

Pulling Miguel down beside him, he relaxed as he lay there. Kieran listened as Miguel spoke answering his question. He nodded slightly about the ideas. His own choice of food ran along those lines. Kieran rather enjoyed Mexican food but was satisfied with Chinese food as well. He didn't care to much for Thai food or Korean. ”So spicy foods then?” Kieran asked curiously. He didn't go out very often however he didn't see it possible for Miguel to come over so he could cook for him like he normally did with all his meals.

Jakob relaxed as he laid down beside Kieran. He wasn't angry anymore and happy to be on better terms. The topic was a bit mundane, but he didn't mind it. It was a way of getting to know one another. His only hope was it wouldn't take constant fighting in order to do so. He didn't want to fight with Kieran. He just needed to know that he could trust him. As he was questioned, he provided him a bit of a lengthy answer. But at least the man couldn't say he was ignoring him. He grew up enjoying many dishes. The one thing they all had in common was that there was a bit of spice to them. As he was questioned again, he nodded quietly. "Pretty much." he replied, smiling. ”That’s not going to be a problem now is it?”

Keiran didn't mind the lengthy answer. It was better than something short. He preferred to get to know Miguel. After all if they were going to be dating, then getting to know one another was part of it as well as communication. Arguing was part of the everyday learning process as long as it wasn't all the time, then he was fine with a few here and there. Keiran knew they were both stubborn so it was to be expected. Shaking his head as Miguel questioned him, he smiled at him. ” Not at all, I'm rather partial to both spicy and non spicy. I don't mind either though I do enjoy Mexican as to Asian.” Kieran spoke thinking about the idea. He didn't particularly like Chinese all to much but from time to time.

He too wouldn't mind getting to know Kieran. The problem was that he didn't know how to go about it. On a basic level, he thought they be rather similar. Not-so-legal occupations, attracted to men, a bit more kinky than most, not entirely all there, and easily riled up. But he wanted to dig past that rough exterior if Kieran would let him. He didn't want to using arguing as his only means of communicating, but for now he would overlook it. Everything was still new and a bit confusing. Jakob knew personally he was going to have to back off some if he really wanted this to happen. He couldn't be so easily offended and then expect to play the victim ten minutes later.

After he spoke, Jakob watched Kieran shake his head and smile back at him. He listened as he spoke, not minding that he preferred one over the other. Personally he liked them both. But then again, where he grew up he was able to find good food from either palate. "In that case you should make a list of places for the next time we go out." he suggested. Mexican, Chinese, Korean, he didn't really have a preference. To him, they were all good. Though, he was interested in knowing where Kieran liked to eat.

Keiran knew that arguing was not the best thing. If they both wanted this to work, communication was key. Without being able to have an actual conversation then it wouldn't work out between them. It was going to be new for the both of them. Trusting each other was going to be hard as well. Keiran had to wonder what the outcome would be with Abel. As much as he would hate Miguel for it, he was merely doing his job.

As he lay beside Miguel, he enjoyed the simple conversation even if it was about food. ”I will. Let me know too if there's anywhere you want to go…” Kieran spoke smiling at Miguel. He wished he wasn't in such a situation. Perhaps if Abel's death wasn't involved, he could actually cook him a decent dinner.

It would be a new experience, but he was willing to try. For Kieran, for himself. He was curious to see just how far his feelings could take him. Even in their difficult situation. If he was wrong about how he felt, he could just go back to his everyday life, pretend it never happened. For now, he just wanted to be with him. He didn't want to think about his job or Abel. When the time came he had to pay attention to them both, he wasn't sure that he would be ready. He worried how Abel's death might affect Kieran.

The conversation wasn't one he thought it would be. He didn’t care that it was about food. He was just glad that Kieran was no longer yelling at him. Jakob listened to him speak once more and watched him smile. ”I will.” he replied. Slipping closer to the man, Jakob tipped his head up and gently kissed the man on the lips. He back from his lips soon after and sighed contently.

Abel's death had always been inevitable to him. Keiran didn't know much how it would affect him. He knew that at some point Abel's behavior as well as life style would be the death of him. Kieran didn't blame Miguel however for doing his job. He just didn't know how things would be between them until it happened. Kieran knew either Miguel or someone else would kill Abel. He only hoped it wasn't Miguel but he didn't call the shots.

The conversation was plan but at least it was something. He could care less what they talked about as long as they talked. Kieran nodded watching as Miguel came closer toward him. Soon feeling his lips against his own. He returned the kiss watching as he pulled away. Kieran shifted pushing Miguel back against the bed, kissing him again.

The death of Abel was invetiable. They both knew this to be true. The only question left was by whose hand. Jakob knew he still had a job to do. But it was possible that someone else might get to it before him. He had an inkling that if that were to happen, it would please Kieran to an extent. He could not guarantee that would happen though.

He smiled softly as their conversation soon came to a natural close. Slipping closer, he gave him a small kiss. He felt Kieran return his kiss just before he pulled away. Jakob was not at all surprised as Kieran shifted. He followed his lead as he pushed back against the bed. He smiled up at the male just before he was kissed. Reaching up, Jakob brought his hands up towards the male's waist. He kissed him back as he drew him closer.

Keiran didn't want to think about Abel anymore. His focus was on Miguel who lay before him. As he kissed Miguel, he felt his hands slip around his waist. Kieran moved closer as he was pulled. He kissed Miguel deeply as he nipped his bottom lip playfully. Kieran ran a hand over his waist as he held onto him. His lips kissed Miguel, as he moved rolling in the bed. Kieran pulled Miguel along until he was lying on top of him. He pulled back from Miguel's lips to smirk at him before kissing him again.

Indeed, he too no longer wished to think of Abel. For now, his focus was entirely on his newly made lover. His hands floated up to Kieran's waist as he kissed him, pulling him closer as he did so. His eyes slid closed as he was engulfed in the males warmth. He kissed him again, enjoying the full weight of his body was pressed nicely against his own. Jakob moaned softly, feeling the male n** his bottom lip. Parting his lips, he began to kiss the male deeply. He allowed Kieran to pull him even closer. His body lifting off the bed as Kieran switched their positions. Jakob kissed him one last time before Kieran pulled back. He opened his eyes to see Kieran smirking up at him. His cheeks flushed slightly as he smiled back at the man just before he was kissed. As they kissed, Jakob adjusted himself so that he was more comfortable. He was tempted to undo the knot on Kieran's robe. But was unsure if he was still interested in their previous activities. Just because he was kissing him, he did not want to jump to conclusions. For now, he was satisfied to just be lying here in his arms.

Kieran didn't mind starting where they left off. With their current argument over, he wanted to go back to enjoying each other's company. He listened as Miguel moaned as he nipped his lower lip. Kieran kissed Miguel feeling him adjust himself on top of him. He relaxed beneath him as he lay there. Kieran ran a hand up slipping it over Miguel's a**. He grabbed it lightly not wanting to hurt him. Kieran kissed Miguel deeply pushing his tongue out parting Miguel's lips as he slipped his tongue into his mouth. He ran his tongue against Miguel's tongue teasing him.

The thought of picking up where they had left off was tempting. With their argument over, he wanted nothing more than Kieran's undivided attention. He couldn't help moaning as he was soon teased. The small pinch of the males teeth against his bottom lip was only slightly arousing but he wanted more. Sitting atop the male, he kissed him again, his hand sliding up his chest as he did so. Jakob vaguely felt Kieran's hand cup his bare a** cheek. He was happy that Kieran was once again being gentle with him. The pressure he used to hold him was just right. He felt neither pain nor fear from the man's touch. Jakob closed his eyes as he was soon kissed again. He didn't mind the roughness of his kiss. A part of him had rather been anticipating it. He happily accepted his kiss and and returned it with equal passion. He parted his lips as Kieran's nudged them with his tongue. Jakob hummed softly with pleasure, he playfully flicked his tongue out towards Kieran.
