Jasper Jasper nodded at her order to refrigerate the cake. He moved somethings around in the fridge, mainly beer, and found room for the cake she had brought. Then he moved into the living room where Cadence was. "Are you sure you want to order? I offered a home cook meal, I feel that's what I should give." The man ran a hand over his close cropped hair, and moved towards her. Fishing the wallet out of his pocket, he handed it to her,"Thanks dear. Get whatever you want, and if you change your mind, that's completely fine. I'll be right back."
With that said, he frame moved through the apartment to the bathroom, turning on the water before stripping and stepping in. Out within 5 minutes was his goal. He just needed to get some of the shavings off anyway. With a towel around his waist, he moved into the bedroom, catching a sneak peek of Cadence curled up on his couch trying not to sleep. A smile came to his lips. He couldn't deny it felt good to see her here; in his place.
When he came out of the bedroom, Jasper brought out another blanket to cover her form on the couch. He gave her forehead another gentle kiss, then took a set on the floor near her so to not wake her. If she actually fell asleep, he'd make sure to move her into the bedroom. There was no reason for her to be sleeping on the couch. She would get the bed, and to ensure she felt comfortable, he'd sleep on the couch. Anyways, he knew she needed her sleep. Jasper wasn't sure if she had really gotten anymore than the rest of them with everything going on.
As someone rang the doorbell at the back door, Jasper jumped to his feet and grabbed his wallet before climbing down the stairs to retrieve the pizza. In seconds he was bounding back up the stairs and locking the apartment door. He opened the a pizza box to find a meat lovers, another smile came to his face. She sure knew his likes. Jasper quietly took two plates fromt he cabinet. One he placed to slices for himself, and when he opened the other box, he placed a couple slices of it on the second plate for her. He brought the two plates, a glass of water, and a beer to set on the coffee table in the living room. If she smelled the food and was hungry, it was here for her. Otherwise food could wait until after her nap.

'Cause sometimes you just feel tired, Feel weak, and when you feel weak, you feel like you wanna just give up ~Cadence Jaycey Sinclaire-Caine~ Cadence woke with a start when the doorbell went off. She had not meant to fall asleep. She managed to catch a glimpse of Jasper dashing off to answer the door. She stretched and noticed another blanket on her. She had fallen asleep on Jasper! How embarrassing! Jasper returned with the pizza and she forced herself to move and be sociable. She shook her hair back away from her flushed face. "Sorry. Guess I fell asleep." She patted the spot beside. "I don't bite...unless your into that. You should know that by now Jasp." She pushed the blankets away, paused to button the top of her sweater. Stupid buttons kept coming undone. She grabbed the glass of water and took a sip. She paid attention to the tv for the first time since arriving there and chuckled. Wrestling. How fitting for them. They use to watch wrestling together as kids. It had been a guilty pleasure of hers for so long. Now it had been years since she watched any of the outlandish events. Now that she was here and with him, she hated her plan to leave. She couldn't imagine leaving any of her people here. They had quickly became a part of her life, a part she was not ready to give up. "Jasper...I need to be honest. I was planning on leaving. I understand the MC is a lifelong commitment, and I accept and respect that. I just don't think this environment is safe or suitable for a child. I feel like I owe you the truth, and that is it. I feel like I need to protect my child from this. From you. I know you would never hurt our child, but I know others would not think twice about using a child to settle a score. I can't and won't allow that child to be mine." Cadie blurted it all out in a rush. She needed to say it all before she lost her never. "This decision is extremely hard for me. I don't want to cut you out, but...I feel like that is what is going to happen. So I am here to come up with a compromise. I think...I should move. A little bit out, but close enough that I can drive in with the baby regularly so you can see him or her. Or you can come out to visit. I am not doing this to be mean or spiteful, I am honestly wanting to do this for the baby. I love you Jasper, and I hate having to make this decision." She stopped horrified at what had just came out of her mouth. She had not wanted to tell him that. She did not want this to be an emotional thing. She had wanted to talk to him as future parent to future parent. They would be co-parenting together and she had no desire to get romantically involved with him until they were sure they could parent together and not let their relationship affect anything. Their child should, and would be the top priority. ~Candie~ But you gotta search within you, you gotta find that inner strength And just pull that sh*t out of you and get that motivation to not give up And not be a quitter, no matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face and collapse. ~Eminem

Dereck Michael Thompson
Dereck raised his eyebrows at her assumption. It only made him laugh softly, and he shook his head. "Not entirely. I mean, being feared by everyone does have it's benefits, don't get me wrong, but I also like to have a kind of power over the town." He took a drink from his water and nodded a silent 'thank you' to the waiter as he brought over their sushi. "I mean, I'm not trying to run Greensville into the ground, we actually try to keep the place pretty safe.." He used his chopsticks and dipped a piece of the salmon sashimi into the soy sauce, then ate it. Dereck playfully nudged Lyn, and played with a piece of sushi for a moment. "No, she shouldn't have. It was a good thing you left when you did. At that time the Creek was going downhill fast. But now, even though it pains me a little to say it.." He took another bite of sushi, and winked at her. "Orion and his mean aren't doing a bad job..." He shifted in his seat as the chef sat down the other parts of their meal. The steak, fried rice and shrimp.
Dereck popped a shrimp into his mouth and wiped his hands on a napkin before turning to face Lyn again, this time he allowed his eyes only to drop down to the tops of her cleavage before moving to her eyes. She was beautiful, and her red hair just fueled his fire even more. She was like a little red-haired pixie. "So, you're a vet? How do you like it?" Dereck didn't necessarily hate animals, but he didn't love them either. He was kind of neutral on the subject. But, if their relationship actually took off he could learn to like animals, just for her sake.

Grace Marie Thompson
Grace made sure to clean off her wounds before getting into bed. They were healing nicely, and would turn into soft pink scars in a few days. She tied her hair up into a loose bun and crawled into bed next to Orion. She wasn't the least bit tired, however, because she had gotten plenty of sleep at the hospital while she was being treated for her injuries. So, she was playing around on her phone when she felt Orion stirring in his sleep. He had been murmuring and groaning while asleep, so maybe he was having a bad dream? She placed her phone on the bedside table when he was awake, and she laid on her side to face him, her eyebrows furrowed with concern. "You okay?" She brought her hand up to rest on the side of his neck.

"I won't be broken I won't be tortured I won't be beaten down" ~Orion Michael De La Cruz~ He was awake and getting up out of bed. He moved Grace's hand as he pushed the blankets off. He got out of bed and muttered that he was going to go get a drink. A drink is exactly what he got. He poured himself about four fingers worth of vodka and dropped some ice in the glass. He took a large gulp of the burning liquid. He finished the glass before it even properly chilled. He poured some more in the glass and just sipped this glass. He was leaning against the counter and set the bottle on the counter. He hadn't decided if he was finished with it just yet. The images from the other night were playing in his head again so he slammed back the second glass and poured a third. If he had to get black out drunk to sleep tonight then so be it. He had to be rested. They had work to do. ~Ryder~ I have the answer I can take the pressure I will turn it all around ~Five Finger Death Punch

Grace Marie Thompson
Grace felt a frown tug at her lips when Orion removed her hand and sulked out of bed. He seemed upset, and it was probably because of his lack of sleep. So, she stayed in bed. The last thing she wanted to do was to make him angry by pushing him. If he didn't want to talk about it, she wouldn't force him. With a sigh she rolled into her side, with her back facing the bedroom door. At this point she wasn't sure if he was upset with her or just at the situation that had occurred.
It wasn't until she heard Isabelle stir and begin to whine that she hurried out of bed and into the nursery, taking Isabelle into her arms as she took a seat in the rocking chair.

"I won't be broken I won't be tortured I won't be beaten down" ~Orion Michael De La Cruz~ Orion was well into his fifth glass of vodka by the time he saw Grace come out of the room. He stumbled along to the room with both the glass and bottle. He was feeling drowsy again. His actions weren't weighing on him. In fact he felt completely justified in what he did. It was guilt at what happened to Grace that was eating at him. He was relieved she was okay but he felt like at some point she would turn to him and blame him for everything. He even felt she had a right too. He was to blame for this mess. Her life was so uncomplicated before he had paraded into her life. Grace had been a cute little Nurse. Working and living a normal everyday type of life. Now her life was abductions, beatings, rapes and torture. In a matter of months he had turned her life upside down, just by being around her. He finished the glass and just started to drink straight from the bottle. He just wanted her to be safe and happy. Not a target, not paranoid and looking over her shoulder all the time. How could he give her a more happy safe life when he lived the way he did? ~Ryder~ I have the answer I can take the pressure I will turn it all around ~Five Finger Death Punch

Grace Marie Thompson
Grace Caught sight of Orion stumbling with a bottle, and felt her nurse instincts kicking in. Once Isabelle was sound asleep once more, she left the nursery and made sure to close the door behind her. She walked back into his bedroom and watched him for a moment, chewing on her bottom lip. "You shouldn't drink like that before bed. You could throw up in your sleep and die.." She approached the bed and pulled herself on it, sitting on the edge.

Jasper Jasper smiled with a wink at Cadence's comment about biting. He moved is form from the floor to sit beside her on the couch."I didn't want to disturb you. You need your sleep, Cadie." He motioned to the plate he had set for her before beginning to bite into his own pizza. He had to say this was a great idea.
However as she delved right into the conversation about what they were going to do, Jasper frowned hearing she wanted to leave Shadow Creek. He put his plate down on the table in front of them, and rubbed at his eyes. "I can understand your concern, but nothing is going to happen to our child because of the Club, Cadence. I won't let it interfere; no one in the club would let anything happen to them." He took a deep breath before continuing, "If you want to move, I'll help you pack and move your things. I get being above Orion might not be best. But Cadence you've got family and friends here to help. Why move away from that? The MC is still family, even if you don't see it that way. Raising a kid by yourself mainly is not easy. When even was the last time the MC caused you trouble? This last time was a boyfriend of yours from another place that got you into that. Not the Club; the Club got you out. Yet you want to leave them like they've done nothing for you, for us.
Jasper stood from his position and began pacing in front of the t.v. He really didn't know what to think about all this. He was glad she was being honest. Could get where some of her concern came from with what had been happening to Grace. But to move away from it all? Even if she was still close that he could see the child, it still left so many more uncertainties. Then if something came up, he wouldn't know if they were safe because he wouldn't have an eye on them. If it was his time with the child, who would he have watch it if he had to go deal with something? It would always be a week to week schedule change. Hadn't he heard a routine was good for kids?[ "Look I know nothing is figured out between us. But Cadence I love you. I don't want you going somewhere I can't keep my eyes on you. I don't want this baby somewhere that I don't know if it's safe or not. I can live with us not living together (I think), but not you being away. We might not be final, but you can even stay here. It's got two doors before somebody can get to you, and not many would think to look here for a place to live. I'll sleep on the couch, you can have the bed, I've started out a nursery in the other bedroom."

Location: Japanese Restaurant Company: Dereck Wearing: Wearing Maralyn took some of the cooked food that was set before them onto her plate, as she listened to Dereck talk about the two towns and the MC. She was jealous of his skills with chopsticks as he began to eat between sentences. She had never learned the skill, and thus she was stuck with a for as she ate a few mouthfuls. Taking a sip of her water, she said,"Well from what I've seen, you've done a fine job keeping Greensville safe as well. But why join the MC if your sole goal is to keep the town safe. Police don't do it for you?"
Finishing the couple sushi rolls and few pieces of steak she had placed on her plate, Lyn sat back in her chair as she answered his question about being a vet."If I didn't enjoy being a vet, I certainly picked the wrong time to decide that. I do enjoy my work. I'm able to help in someway, and I don't have to deal with direct patient complaints really. Just their owners. But it does pay the bills, and is rewarding work every now and then when I'm able to actually help a creature out of a bad circumstance, living or illness." ,

'Cause sometimes you just feel tired, Feel weak, and when you feel weak, you feel like you wanna just give up ~Cadence Jaycey Sinclaire-Caine~ "I can sleep when I'm dead." Cadence replied and waved away his words. Hell most of her adult years had been spent living on energy drinks, coffee and sheer willpower. Sleep was for the weak! She and her friends and places to be, and s**t to do! Cadence tensed up as soon as Jasper mentioned Alex and his drama. She felt like that was totally below the belt. She wanted to lash out but forced herself to remain calm. Yes what he said felt like an accusation being launched at her. Like she and her crap decision had caused that problem. It was true, but how was she to know that even after she walked away from it, it would come back to bite her in the a**? She stood up and crossed her arms over her chest. She hated the implication that she needed him or the MC to protect her. She would not fight with him though. It was pointless. This was one issue they were divided on. Would probably always be divided on. Jasper was right. The MC has been there for them. They didn't have too. She owed them all a big thank you for that. Especially her brother, who she had been extremely hard on lately. She would pay him a visit the next day. "I'll stay in Shadow Creek." She did not like the idea but she had to simply let him see for himself that this wasn't a safe place anymore. "I'm going to go. We can talk more tomorrow. I am opening tomorrow so I should try to get some sleep."She grabbed her purse and walked over to Jasper. She hugged him tightly about the middle, and stretched up on tip toe. She kissed him gently. She would not give him a hard time right now, life was a mess right now for them both. No point in creating more problems or drama. Orion would always feel entitled to interfere in their life as long as she was here. Jasper was one of his, and Cadence was one of his. They belonged to two separate areas of his life, but it wouldn't stop him from feeling that he was allowed to comment on their lives. She knew, she had briefly been in a similar situation. She briefly dated a guy a few years back when her and Alex had been on a longer break. She dated the guy and had been friends with the older brother first. the brother she dated worked for the older brother. Her friend, he had tried to control their relationship. After just two months she had broke up with the guy, it was just a frustrating situation that called endless amounts of tension. "I don't want to stay here...I rather we just...co-parent. Figure out how to be great parents before we worry about our possible relationship. You know how I am...I am insecure, needy and a complete psycho and hot head. I don't want that....or should I say me, to screw anything up. I want us to be focused on our child. I want us to do this parenting thing right, and not ******** this kid up. I don't want this kid to be ******** up and shitty like everyone else in our lives." She immediately pulled away and started for the door. She hated when all her crazy was there in the open. She hated her wounds being on display, and right now she felt they were. She felt she had said too much. Allowed Jasper in much more then she had intended too. Cadence always deflected. She never let people in, she had always be emotionally unavailable. Or as her friend Tessa had always said, she had the emotional IQ of a potato. She had just learned long ago it never paid to feel, or become attached to anyone. Only person she should allow herself to become emotionally attached to was her child. Once safely in the car she mentally scolded herself. "You are a freakin' potato..." She grumbled to herself. She hated the situation. She knew she was in love with Jasper. She was sure he knew she was in love with him and still she just couldn't be with him. The thought just terrified her. The thought of many things terrified her, and tonight she had gotten nowhere. She had backed down, and now felt even more confused. She sighed and headed for her Aunt's. Last person she wanted to see was her brother, though she wanted to see Grace. She felt like Grace would listen and be the voice of reason. ~Candie~ But you gotta search within you, you gotta find that inner strength And just pull that sh*t out of you and get that motivation to not give up And not be a quitter, no matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face and collapse. ~Eminem

Dereck Michael Thompson
Dereck straightened up in his seat as Lyn spoke, and he glanced sideways at her, his eyes falling serious for a moment. "The police are owned. The cops in greensville have been bought out by whoever gives them money. They turn their heads at things that should be taken care of. To be honest, they are completely useless when it comes to the kind of things we deal with." It didn't take him long to eat his fill, and by the time he was done it was already getting pretty late. So, he stood up from his chair, and held his arm out to her, motioning for her to come with him.
"The night isn't over. I still have something else planned.." Deeeck made sure to leave money on the table, more than enough for the cost of the food. When he led Lyn outside, the streets were pretty much empty. It was a week night, after all. So most people were at home asleep. He hopped into his bike and started it up, giving her a smile before she got on the back. It was nice having someone to ride around with. He never took his hook ups on his bike. Ever. It was reserved for special occasions and special people.
He ended up passing through Shadow Creek and getting onto the freeway. They drove for about 20 minutes until he turned them off in a dirt road, taking them well into a woodland area. When he stopped, they were next to a large wildflower field, with the moonlight illuminating the petals perfectly. In the middle of the field was a blanket spread out with two pillows. "There is a meteor shower supposed to happen tonight, so I figured we could lay out here, away from the city lights to get a better view..". He hung his leather cut over his bike and led Lyn to where the blanket was before he laid back, one arm folded underneath his head and the other resting at his side.

"I won't be broken I won't be tortured I won't be beaten down" ~Orion Michael De La Cruz~ He couldn't help but laugh at Grace's statement. It wasn't comical but to him it was just....what he needed to let the crazy laughs out. "Sweetheart, the Devil don't want me." He replied and set his bottle on the night stand. "You have something to say Grace....out with it." He snapped and leaned back against the headboard. "You have that concerned look in your eyes, I'm not one of your patients. I don't need you Mothering me." He was being mean and he couldn't help it. Vodka made him a miserable b*****d. It made him angry, bitter and highly aggressive. Funny since Whisky made him flirty and happy. For his sister it Vodka made her happy, and wild, extremely flirty and Rum turned her into a little b***h. Orion swung his legs over the edge of the bed. He stood up and started to over away from Grace. He struggled into his pants, and grabbed a tee from the drawer. "I can't be here. Your giving me that look....I can't stand that look! The accusations just swimming in your eyes! Just out with it!" He pulled his shirt on and looked for his belt and boots. ~Ryder~ I have the answer I can take the pressure I will turn it all around ~Five Finger Death Punch

Grace furrowed her eyebrows at Orion, and pushed herself off of the bed as well, moving toward him. "I'm not tying to mother you. I'm also not accusing you of anything. I just..." She sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose for a moment, swallowing thickly at him as he continued. His words about net being a patient stung a bit, so she moved to the door of the apartment, taking his keys into her hand. "You are drunk. Nobody is accusing you of anything. I just don't want to see you get hurt.." She shifted nervously, glancing down at the floor. "You're not leaving here like that. You have a little girl who needs you. Her mother already left her and you are all she has left. I can leave if you want me to, but I will be taking your keys with me..." Grace grabbed her phone, and quickly shot a text to Kill.
Orion is completely plastered and trying to leave. Plz come here..

"I won't be broken I won't be tortured I won't be beaten down" ~Orion Michael De La Cruz~ Orion backed away from Grace. He did not want to hurt her, but she was starting to piss him off. "I'm not going to drive. I just need to walk. Clear my head. Keep the keys!" He walked to the couch and flopped down. "What the hell is going on around here?! I am just failing everywhere!" He was up and destroying the place. Luckily his apartment had a lot less stuff then his room at the Club. His apartment was decorated sparingly since until recently he had never really spent time there. Though this breakdown was just as ugly as last time. Killian rolled over to answer his phone. He had to stretch across Missy the Club skank. She pouted but did not protest. He read his text from Grace. 'What did he drink?' He sent back hoping it was something to conk him out so that he could continue with his play time.~Ryder~ I have the answer I can take the pressure I will turn it all around ~Five Finger Death Punch
