ANGUIS IS ATTACKING KURSHA
He blinked at Luxara, realizing he would have to admit what actually happened. With a sort of a grimace, he admitted "I uh. Tripped on a net and fell on my face. Not my proudest moment."
Anguis watched after she shot to swipe in and take another stab. It was a good one this time, wasn't as hurried as the rest had been. But he was apt to follow Luxara's lead as she moved, unwilling to stick around for too long
"Ah, yeah, that's a good idea," He murmured, fumbling to untie the cloth from the back of his head and put it to his nose. It felt odd without it there, his bangs falling a little more into his eyes, but it was stopping more blood from pouring down his face so it was worth it. "Sorry" He said as an afterthought.

GANYMA IS ATTACKING KURSHA (note to other players: Ganyma is disguised and wearing a mask)
15/20 2/3 regen Offensive Style A novice trinket +1 Damage +1 Accuracy this round! Milieu and Ganyma worked in sync. He watched her with curiousity as she repositioned herself, and finally he realized her plan. Kursha's gun left him a weakspot - too close and too high up and the net gun would be useless! Brilliant. Ganyma was honing his strategic ability, but his mind was not as quick as his companion's. He took the opportunity to take a quick one-two-punch that he wouldn't normally have been able to take without her expertise. The path was cleared for the other tealblood to forge ahead. Ganyma deals 3 damage!

Maneki is Attacking Drones! Was that -- It was! "Bow-Aunt!" Maneki grinned from ear to ear and leaned over to hug Vremea. It was a brief little hug and exchange. Pulling back, he swiped his claws at three passing drones. No matter what, he would protect those he loved! Period!! Drones Hurt: 3

Lorata quickly found a target. A drone was coming up to pass them on his way after the rebels. "HEY! What's taking you so long? Why haven't you been clearing these traps? Meduma's hurt because you weren't moving fast enough!" She pointed at her lusus in demonstration and then moved her arm to point down the tunnel. "Hurry up!"

Forera dealt 0 damage to Kursha. Damnit, why did he keep avoiding her hits?! Forera was practically keeling with anger when she missed again, kicking the floor in anger.

TAMIYA IS ATTACKING BYAKKO12/20 Novice Agility A Trinket +1 accuracy this round! She breathed heavily, feeling the bile in her throat come back up to haunt her. Tamiya swallowed in a thick gulp and gagged, shaking her head as she recuperated from her intense attack. The woman had squirmed off again. She snarled and whipped back around to head further down the cave to get a better vantage point. Larque was still in eyeshot - good. Suddenly, a voice materialized. That of a redblood, rather odd looking based upon the direction of his current state. Tamiya cocked her head to the side and registered his identity. Ah! The redblood from her booth. She clapped her hands together. He was a natural at speaking her tongue, and he still was now. "Ah! I will get you down." It occurred to the clown that she did not, indeed have a weapon. She skulked off to find one and returned with a bloodsoaked blade that had clearly been discarded (if not lodged in some poor soul). She trusted that Alifax's natural redblood instincts would allow him to land on his feet. Sawing through his restraint, Tamiya gave him a quick nod and religious salute. "You will be rewarded for your service and overflowing mirth!" Tamiya does 5 damage.

MUERTE IS ATTACKING KURSHAThe body was an amazing work of ingenuity. The searing pain in his arm had slowed to a dizzy dull, and while Muerte knew better than to keep fighting (he should find a moment to take care of it, really, he was prepared) he still found himself enraged. Hindsight is 20/20. There was nothing more satisfying than seeing his own weapon covered in blood. Maybe he could get another prize from the end of this skirmish too.
He needed to calm down. This was always an issue of his, and his earlier conversation with Aprife had really driven it home. He was far too impulsive and it showed and he wrecked himself for it. Deep breaths Perist.
Ah. They were being herded like hoofbeasts. Seeing the nets flying over top made him feel like prey. He was not prey. Gritting his teeth, the doctor willed himself to think and, in a moment of staunch clarity, he seized a fallen net and threw it right the ******** back. How's that? Morons....

Vremea dealt 5 damage to Kursha. It was so much easier to attack them, now that they were trapped under a net. The poor drones. Dimly Vremea remembered a few of them helping them, sweeps ago. They never came back. Maybe they were gone, now.
With that throught in mind, Vremea slashed at them a little harder.
Hearing something get hit behind her, Vremea twirled to see Zeffer with Maneki in tow, and her eyes widened slightly at his request. Blinking, Vremea glanced around her before readying her weapon. They would need to push aside their differences for this, Vremea realized. With a short nod toward him, Vremea whacked the nearest drone charging at a rebel nearby. "I am fine, and I was just with Swan... I have not seen Aprife anywhere. Are you and Manny alright?" She asked, her eyes looking for either of her redblooded pals/scouts in the distance. Smiling at Maneki's eagerness, she returned the hug quickly then released him, intent on keeping him safe, no matter what. "Very impressive, Maneki! Nice hit!"

Reemus is attacking Kursha!The hug was a bit of a surprise! The force of the sentiment nearly threw him off-balance, but that didn't stop him from squeezing her back before she pulled away. "Honestly, I didn' even know there was anythin' goin' on 'r you would be here. This is a bloody mess! Yer a rebel! Yer all rebels! 'N the queen wants ta squash ya all out! I can't let that happen." Just thinking about it led to a moment of anguish. He let himself be distracted by her worry instead of holding onto it for too long.
"Yeah, yeah I was too close to some poor bloke who probably ain't with us no more. I'll heal, though." He looked down at his sweater and its burnt holes. There was delayed embarrassment to be had. Why had he come out in something nice? "That won't, though. Sorry 'bout that." She had made it for him and all!
Something was lacking, though. Voscil! He had run off and hadn't come back for her! He had gotten to used to her scurrying after him. Reemus looked around for her while refusing to leave Athene's side at the same time. Being distracted like he was made him lose a shot at Kursha.HP: 11/20 Attack: 0 Inventory: Woofmum

While Adamaz and his lusus were trying to help up a fallen drone, Papa Roach chittered a warning. A trap had knocked loose pebbles from the ceiling! Adamaz hefted his trash can lid and protected himself and the drone from the falling debris. The drone beamed at him in surprise.

Larque finally attacks BYAKKO
Larque patted Tamiya as she recovered, feeling vaguely guilty, and not quite knowing why. She'd been hit much harder by the gas, but there wasn't anything he could do for her. The burn in his own eyes was finally beginning to subside, and helped her to her feet again, brows furrowed. Something unpleasant was happening up ahead...
He gave no response to her command, except to follow obediently at her heels, lip curled slightly. Traps...the trolls living in these tunnels had been smart enough to make escape plans. He couldn't blame them really, especially when the location of their base had been known beforehand, but...
He watched with awe as Tamiya rushed forth, and tried to join her in her attack, only to shriek as he was suddenly slammed down, and pulled up. It was rare for him to make such sounds, but the snare had caught him entirely by surprised, eyes locked on the purpleblood instead of watching where his feet were falling.
He snarled and flailed for a moment, trying to lean up to cut himself down with his scythes, to no avail. How embarrassing....

Abrila Variga attacks Byakko Mawiya Despite the ridiculous amount of noise and commotion, Abrila caught the sound of her name nearby like a bell being rung. She spun and managed to catch sight of a very familiar form among some drones, which made the corners of her mouth quirk upwards ever so slightly. Dictys! She had met and worked with the high blood child back in the OHC incident, and ey had met before once before that. Ey weren't bad for a seadweller. In fact, the orangeblood was almost begrudgingly fond of em.
It didn't really surprise her to see Dictys there, helping out. She started to wave, but stopped herself before she could make herself look stupid. Instead, she turned the half-finished motion into a quick salute instead before catching back up with the main fray.
Seeing a familiar face -and one complimenting her, no less!- made her even more determined to keep going and it seemed to help, as her next attack on the fleeing rebels was strong and true. She felt the power of her swing sing through her shovel as it met her target with a satisfying thwack.HP: 16/20

"Ah!" She'd been so focused on trying to think up a plan that the flying electrified net came too fast for Scuttle and her to move away. Lucky for them, a few drones got caught as well and the electric charge managed to spread out and not fry her brain as bad as it could have been. Wincing as Scuttle thrashed to shake the net off, Tevini averted her eyes while it whipped around and lashed Kursha in the middle of the chaos, clipping the edge of his arm. Caught in the net, she looked desperately to her new ally for help.
"I can't get out!" Tevini cried to the highblood. More trolls appeared to be edging out to the edges of the tunnel now in various states of injury. Scared of the rainbow of blood spreading across the floor, Tevini gulped down another urge to puke.

Milieu is Attacking Kursha! Milieu's eyes shone as Ganyma caught on to the strategy. Strong and quick. She was starting to really get into the rhythm of their teamwork. His punches were strong. Moving back from the fray, her partner left a good sized opening for another attack. Strong, quick, and considerate? Milieu grinned like a wolf and dove in, eager for some of Kursha's greenblood. Drawing back, she winked at him playfully and gave a positive thumbs up. Sign language was really a blessing in times like this. HP:13/20 Weapon: Military +1 Trinket: Offensive Trinket Type B 3/3 Milieu did 5 DMG

12/20 ********, had she just said she'd help and then left? That taught Alifa - oh, wait.
Wait, there she was again (briefly Alifax was glad she was so tall, because it meant he picked her out easily), and with...a very colorful-looking blade. Well, at least she was doing something. He fell to the floor quite a bit more messily than it seemed she expected him to, but picked himself up anyway. What did it matter? "Thanks for that," he said. "It's kind of a miracle you even noticed me," he added, slipping her a pleased smile. But she was headed onwards anyway, and he'd follow her, briefly, more carefully.
He nodded to the greenblood who seemed to be accompanying her and struck forward with his meteors, watching them catch the mutantblood's elbow with pleasure. No one could say he didn't do anything for the crown, right?
