___ ___ _________ ___ ___ "We face the king of demons, the monster that once ruled all Magvel. He's more powerful than any one of us here. But we have something that beast will never have. We have community, friendship, love... We have all the virtues of humanity. That is our weapon. That is our strength. Is everyone ready? We're going to win." "Ah... what a pleasing sight." Velora repeated as her mother finally surrendered. Seeing Krul down on her knees before her, while Ephraim was still firmly beneath her boot... it certainly made her feel powerful. She lifted her foot from Ephraim's throat at last, taking a step towards Krul. Ephraim wasted no time, fighting through his immense pain to grab his shirt and begin to rip it and use the ripped pieces to cover his bleeding wounds. "You know, you could've taken my offer and our positions may be reversed. How tragic." She still held Siegmund against her shoulder, a constant threat to Krul's well-being if she were to try something. "And you know, father may have killed even more people than you in his war. He's hardly innocent... not to mention the Reaper lives he's taken... You do feel something, don't you? Something for him..." She smiled knowingly. "This day has been full of surprises, but this has been my favorite..." She obviously didn't hide the fact that she wished her parents would be together, after all. Pulling her free arm back, she pushed it forward suddenly, clamping a collar around her kneeling mother's throat. "No more teleporting for you..." Indeed, Krul would feel her power begin to dampen, and her ability to teleport or do anything that required a lot of power was taken from her while that collar was on her. "Don't worry, I'll make sure you two share a nice cell so you can come to understand your feelings for each other. And, you know... do whatever you want to afterwards..." She giggled. "Anyhow, now that this is dealt with, I should have more than enough time to repair our little devices and finish the invasion. I appreciate this little distraction, though." Her eyes cut to the side, as a certain someone began to stand, as quietly as possible... "You just don't know when to quit." She turned, facing her bloodied and disheveled father, who had certainly heard that before. "I guess that's another thing we have in common."Ephraim wasn't stupid enough to waste energy on words. He was in horribly excruciating pain, and it was adrenalin that allowed him to force himself through his pain. But he knew this wouldn't last, especially since his open wounds couldn't be properly treated, just covered. And poorly at that. He didn't exactly have gauze or bandages. With Krul now virtually powerless, there was only this one chance left. Ephraim took a step towards Velora, who responded by having her blade fly towards him. Ephraim pivoted his upper body to narrowly avoid the blade, throwing out his left arm and slamming his elbow into Velora's skull. She grunted, knocked backwards and to the ground for a moment. Velora quickly jabbed Siegmund towards his knee, and though he dodged, the spear's blade did manage to catch part of his leg, breaking the skin. Ephraim bared his gritted teeth in response to the pain, but it was a proverbial drop in the bucket, and he forced himself through. Swinging his leg up, he delivered a harsh kick directly to her jaw. Recoiling, she rolled backwards to create some distance, rearing back Siegmund and hurling the spear towards her father. Ephraim once again pivoted his body, dodging the potential death of that and grabbing the spear out of the air, throwing it right back at her. One might wonder why he wouldn't just keep Siegmund, but he knew he wasn't going to win this fight by outlasting her and eventually getting a good hit in with the sacred spear--he had no chance to outlast her in his state. He had to be aggressive and push the offense as hard as he could. He had to race her. It was unfortunate he couldn't hurl the stabby end at her, but again, he had to be fast. The bottom of the spear slammed into her skull, causing her to let out a pained yelp and grip her head. She now had a migraine. Ephraim couldn't exactly tend to his daughter's pain though, as he reached down, grabbing her by the ankle. She gasped, and one of her shields swung around, slamming into Ephraim's back and causing him to release her. She suddenly seemed a bit more concerned about the state of things--how was he fighting this hard in his condition? She quickly got to her feet, raising her arm for her sword to fly to her, gripping it again and slicing the blade towards his neck as he approached her. He pivoted his body backwards to narrowly dodge the slice, reaching out and grabbing her by her sword arm, giving it a strong and rough pull, looking as though he were pulling a rope in tug-of-war. Velora screamed out in pain, her sword clattering to the floor as she seemed to lose function of her sword arm. It seemed he had dislocated her shoulder. The sword began to rise again, just as before, and her shield swung around to attempt to slam into Ephriam again. Ephraim turned, grabbing the shield by the side with both his hands. Velora gasped in surprise, and Ephraim used the moment to turn swiftly and slam the shield directly into her skull with a loud metallic bang, sending her to the floor. In that moment, the sword and the other shield both clattered to the floor, as Velora's concentration was apparently broken enough to disallow her from controlling them with her mind. Dropping the heavy shield, Ephraim bared his gritted teeth once again, raising his leg and slamming his foot down on her skull. He couldn't afford to show restraint, and he continued raising his leg and slamming his foot into her skull over and over, basically curbstomping her until the sword and shields stopped beginning to levitate. Velora let out a pained, desperate groan as she apparently lost consciousness. Ephraim finally took a step back, stumbling immediately but catching himself. "...Hgh...." He let out, taking a step forward. Though this time, he wasn't able to catch himself, as he stumbled backwards and dropped straight to the ground. Those wounds were still open, and his shoddy coverings had mostly come off in the scuffle. He was coming down off his adrenaline high as it were, and ********, did this hurt. He was shocked he was still conscious. He was shocked he managed to win in this condition, especially against Velora. "Krul..." He said through gritted teeth. "I-I don't pick fights I can't win, see?" At least he managed some kind of levity here... But this situation was beyond dire, and that was something he realized full well. "You can't... teleport..." And here he was, with open wounds, a lot of blood loss, and in incredibly bad shape. His little scuffle had only made it so much worse. Midgar was almost certainly saved with Velora indisposed, but what of him? "I don't suppose you have any healing power?" That was a dumb question. She was Krul. It was very unlikely she had any power to help others. And even if she did, the collar would likely prevent it. "A-are you alright?" Him asking her that in this situation was pretty funny. "I'm not... going to die here... just... give me a moment..." He grunted, trying to push through his increasing migraine to think of a way out of this that didn't involve his death. It was possible he could be brought back if indeed he did die, but he had little interest in just hoping for the best. He had a kingdom to return to, and he had people who depended on him. While he considered his options, Krul might notice Velora's shields come to cover Velora's unconscious body, merging and forming a protective cocoon to keep her from being targeted further in her helpless state. She had a contingency for everything, didn't she? "Her sword!" He said at last. "Bring it to me!" He ordered her desperately. He had seen a black sword similar to this used once in the past by a different Reaper, who referred to it as an "anti-matter blade." It could cut through nearly anything, and if this sword were the same, it might be their ticket out of here. He had taken note of that when she first drew the sword, and that was good since he was pushing through a migraine here. It didn't cut through Siegmund, but Siegmund was an unbreakable sacred weapon--it stood to reason it had special properties. If she did as he said, he would take the sword, forcing himself to sit up through the pain, and using his free hand to grip her by the skull. He didn't exactly have time to be terribly gentle about it, all things considered. "Just... hold still..." He said, and she would notice his voice was getting weaker. He was fighting desperately just to remain conscious. He didn't dare think what would happen if he passed out and left Krul to decide the best course of action. Taking the blade of the sword in his hand, he pushed it closer towards her neck. "T...rust me.... I...'m not going t..." He took a deep breath, shaking his head quickly to try to invigorate himself to staying conscious as long as possible. Pushing the blade into the collar, it was among the biggest reliefs in his life when the blade's tip pierced the collar with virtually no resistance. Of course Velora would use a sword like this. His daughter's planning and dedication to using only the best tools at her disposal might just save his life, ironically. "....!" Pushing the blade a bit further into the collar, he forced it to the side abruptly, causing the collar to snap and break off near-instantly, clattering to the floor beside them. She would feel her powers returning to her quickly as the collar came off. The abrupt motion also caused Ephraim to fall to the floor, letting out a grunt as he hit the floor again. "Ugh... you have... powers, right?" He managed breathlessly. He was trying not to panic, but with all this pain and being so close to death, his heart was racing desperately. He was close to hyperventilation. "Need... I need..." He didn't really need to spell it out, did he? He needed a healer, desperately. The time bomb's affects in Midgar had just ceased shortly before he broke the collar, and so the path was open to Krul to teleport him to L'Arachel, who could ensure his survival using Latona. ...On the other hand, this was the greatest threat to herself and the other Reapers, on the floor, bleeding profusely. Dying. She may never get a better chance than this to take his life, or let it be extinguished on its own. Of course, Ephraim considered this--he was putting his life in her hands, but he had no other viable options. He couldn't exactly go find another Reaper and just hope they would help him, especially after defeating their queen and foiling their plans. What would she decide to do? The power had previously been all in Velora's hands, but now it was all in Krul's. Would her sentimentality and possible feelings prevent her from doing what she had tried many times, or would she finally rid herself of the king who had been a constant thorn in her side? The choice... was hers.Aeon shrugged his shoulders disinterestedly as his arms were crossed. "Who's to say." What an aloof answer. But for someone like Aeon, it at least proved he gave some value to her existence. He also didn't exactly kill her after she had humiliated him at the beach, so there was that. As she shot her little glare to him, Aeon's eye met her look with his typical level of disinterest. Though as she surmised he was too afraid, and said he should be, she might notice that look waver, and a bit of coloration on his cheeks. His weakness for her seemed to be showing slightly once again. "Do you ever shut up?!" He finally responded, sounding a bit louder and more flustered than he meant to. She had quite the affect on him... "I doubt even a spider would be afraid of you as you stepped on them, you pathetic racist." She was very weak, and yet still she managed to get the upper hand on him often... Quite interesting. "Stop ordering me around!" Once again, he ended up sounding more loud and flustered than he meant to. "Remember you're here because of me. You're trapped here until I say you can leave. You're my prisoner. My b***h. You should act like it." Yeah, that was definitely going to happen. "Psh." He crossed his arms again, looking away. "It's not a compliment. It's just the truth." She was gorgeous, that much was obvious. Anyone would agree. That's what he thought, at least. As they met up with the cheerful Dorothy and Aeon's sewing ability was outed, he cut his eye to Sylvanas, irritated. "If you're not careful, I'll stab you with something much larger than a sewing needle." He closed his eye, not missing a beat before his following words. "Oh wait, I already did." That was certainly one way of putting it. Dorothy, meanwhile, smiled cheerfully at the human girl. She so rarely got "customers" who were so kind upfront, so this was refreshing. "Huh? Aeon, mean? That's silly! Why, before he helped me with the fabric incident, I had just gotten out of a bad breakup, and he was nice enough to sit there and listen to me go on and on for hours-" "Stop talking." Aeon said, covering his face again. God, she was ruining his image. "It's not a bad thing to be nice, Aeon! I could tell he didn't want to, but he listened to me until I stopped crying. It was so sweet!" "Ugh, I'm going for some air." Aeon said, turning his slightly colored face away and walking out of the store in clear irritation. "...." Dorothy's smile fell for a moment after Aeon was out of earshot. "I, um... don't tell him I told you this, but while he was listening to me, he called me by the wrong name. He accidentally called me "Athena."" She said, biting her lip. "I think I reminded him of someone else. He quickly tried to cover it up, but I know what I heard. Do you know if he has any sisters...? I just... he looked so sad for a moment after he said it... I think whoever she is, he misses her a lot. That's probably why he did listen to me for so long." She was hoping that Sylvanas could confirm that this "Athena" was, in fact, alive, and he wasn't missing someone he could never see again. Though it was unlikely Sylvanas would have such information. After a moment though, Dorothy blinked, perking up once again. "Sorry! That was- I mean, I shouldn't sour the mood or anything. You came here for a nice outfit change after all!" She smiled, looking down at her offered hand. ".......??!?!?!?!?!?!?" Her smile didn't waver, though it was a very, very confused one. She raised her hand, patting Sylvanas on the top of her outstretched hand. "It's so nice to meet you, Sylvanas!" Well, she tried. Aeon seemed to return inside by the time Sylvanas had changed, his arms crossed and his eye's gaze the typical disinterested. As Sylvanas approached the two, Dorothy clapped her hands together excitedly, her face lighting up. "OHMIGOSH, IT'SSOCUTE!" She exclaimed just as excitedly. "Look! Your girlfriend is so cute!" "She's not my girlfriend, she's a stupid slave. And she looks just as stupid as she did before." "Oh, pshaw!" Dorothy used the back of her finger, tapping Aeon's groin a few times as though she were knocking on a door. "Hello? Beautiful girl in a hot dress! Anyone awake down there?!" This might weird out Sylvanas, but given how casually it was done, it was clear this was another cultural difference. As Dorothy had said, concepts like personal space were practically nonexistent for Reapers. And they were a lot more open about stuff like this. "Knock it off you halfwit!" He swung his arm at her, which she narrowly dodged. "Ehehe! Too slow~" She bumped her hip into his playfully, knocking him off-balance for a moment, enough so that he actually stumbled back and onto his back. Poor Aeon. Turning her attention from the always-irritated Reaper to the cute human girl, Dorothy adjusted her glasses as she looked at her. "Seeing you looking so cute is more than enough payment! But if you do happen to bring some sweets, I won't say no. Don't think of it as payment, think about it as a shared treat between friends!" She was so open and bubbly, it would be quite bizarre to most humans who saw Reapers as soulless monsters to see someone like her. "Anyway, I don't want to get in the way of your date anymore than I have ! You two go and have fun! My door's always open for a cute couple like you though!" (( OOC: ))

Closing her eyes, as if to spare the added humiliation upon seeing such satisfaction on her daughters face. As if it would really help, so long as her knees remained against the ground, the feeling of her ultimate defeat would never go away. Finally opening her crimson red eyes, she would have to force herself to look up at Velora as she began to speak. "Quite obvious, any enemy of his was never on a good side to begin with, they all deserved what they got. Even our own, got the pattern yet? All the lives he's ever taken were no good anyway. He fights for the life of his people and lives in general to save. I wouldn't classify him as a killer. Unlike myself, and all of my loyal Reapers. We are the non-innocent ones, as we always will be. Don't mistake this moment for anything more, I feel nothing for him. We will always be enemies, after this day is over, all that was before will continue on.." She muttered something quietly under her breath, clearly some kind of insult directed to her precious daughter as she placed the collar around her neck. "Are you certain your brain is working properly now, little one? " She said coldly. "For us to share a cell together and 'understand our feelings for each other', he would have to be alive. If you put him in there as he is now, your hopeful dream really won't come true..." Not that it ever would, she just kind of hoped maybe that would register into her brain enough to make her heal him. In the next few moments, Krul found herself helplessly watching as the bleeding, literally dying King began to fight with everything he had left, while she could only watch. No pulling or tugging at the collar around her neck was going help get it off, she was literally as weak as a human now! Yet somehow, Ephraim was able to fight on despite the lot of blood he was losing. How just a simple human could withstand so much was beyond her. Getting to her feet, despite her weak form now, she would watch for a opening, any chance that she might be able to take to help him take her down, but instead, the king would prove his incredible strength even so close to death was impossible to defeat. "You must want to die..." She said suddenly, though there was a heavy hint of irritation in her voice. Did it annoy her that he put himself at such a risk? it seemed like it. As he started to stumble however, he might be surprised at how fast Krul got herself to him, catching him as carefully as possible. Had he not been in intense pain he might of caught just how gentle she was being with him. "This wasn't one of your smarter picked fights.." He could have just let them be held prisoner, until they found a way out without the risk of his death! "We can't rely on any others here to get out...clearly.." Maybe Aeon, but that was still to much of a risk to rely on a maybe. "I have no healing power that I can provide others.." She could self heal pretty well, possibly why she seemed to be SO hard to kill. "Why are you asking me that? It almost sounds as if you care! I think you need to worry about your own life right now. " She may of sounded cold, but what else was to be expected? She had to make sure she didn't look as if she cared! Clearly she didn't! "..? " What plan did he think of now? She began to settle him gently to a sitting position against the wall, so she could locate the sword as quickly as possible. It didn't take long to find the black sword on the white flooring, thankfully for Ephraim's sake. Every moment wasted was his life ticking away. Kneeling down as she handed it over, she would find herself in a moment's surprise as his hand gripped her by the skull, a little rougher then she expected from him, especially in his weak state! He then raised the blade dangerously close to her neck, something she should probably be worried about, but there was something strange happening here. She didn't feel any concern for her safety, instead seemed to fully trust him. With the sound of the collar coming apart and clattering to the floor, came the rush of her powers all at once. "This might answer your question.." He wouldn't feel the ground against him, as with her returned powers, came her speed that helped her to catch him again before he fell to the ground. That's when she pulled him closer to her body, and with a hand reaching up to the back of his neck, she pulled him into a very sudden kiss. Instantly upon the rather forced kiss, Ephraim would start to feel a surge of energy entering his body as the crimson aura radiated from Krul's form, into his own. This was no holy magic, it was in no way a pure form of energy like most Serenitians were so blessed with, but instead, Krul's own life force energy. He didn't have time to go through teleportation, and just hoping they found his healer girlfriend before his life came to an end, and so, Krul took matters into her hands. To quickly heal and restore his energy with her own, which was likely an unbelievable amount of energy for a human. He may not get her powers, but he would feel like he could take on the world for a while! The healing process was overly done, in fact, so why was she still kissing him? Hmm.
"...Why do I even bother. It's like talking to a simpleton. " She sad right back at him, clearly just trying to irritate him, as he so loved to do to her.It really did annoy her that he wouldn't answer her question! "Do you ever stop blushing? " She couldn't help but smirk a little at that one. "Right, whatever..I'll find my way out of here eventually. You think your so powerful, yet you are the one who always ends up planted on the ground by little weak me!" As if their arguments could ever come to an end, even in the presence of another, though he did seem to get her face to return to it's previously reddened state for a moment. "..Pervert." She muttered quietly under her breath. Returning her attention back to Dorothy, her tone softened and smile returned, despite the topic of interest was still about the very one who was so clearly annoying her! "That's...very surprising to hear. Um, I'm sorry about your break up, though. With how sweet and kind you are, I don't think it will be very hard to find the right person you really belong with. " She said to her, not that she wanted to bring it up anymore then Dorothy probably wanted, but she did feel the need to try and set some encouragement. She understood the feeling of break ups, it was never easy.
As Aeon left the clothing store to flee from his embarrassing moments that would now forever haunt him,she turned to her new friend, a curious look on her face as she noticed her smile fall. She didn't know her very long, but already she could tell something must be troubling her to take away that almost constant smile she had since meeting her. "...Athena? ..." She had to think for a moment, he did mention having sisters, but he didn't say there names. The more she thought about what Dorothy said, the more it made sense, having been exiled from his home, he wouldn't see them anymore. It had to be his sister, of course it couldn't be some secret lover of his. ...Oh jealousy, it was a cruel thing! She would certainly feel silly when she found out some day. "..He told me he has sisters, but never did tell me their names. I think Athena might be one of them..He hasn't been able to return home for a long time...It makes me so mad! I can't believe a mother could do that to her own son..." She wasn't even sure if Dorothy knew of Aeon's story, maybe she shouldn't dive to much into that information..for now. "Um, anyway..I think she's okay..If it is what I think, she should be okay.." She never met any of his sisters, she didn't even know where the Forest Kingdom was. So she couldn't be sure on anything, all she could do was hope for the best. A moment later, as Sylvanas raised her hand outward in a greeting manor, Dorothy's response caused her to giggle a little more then might be comfortable! "Oh, I forgot...things are... much different here, even greetings..He,he..." She held out her hand again. "Hold out your hand like this.." If she did as she asked, Sylvanas would gently take her hand into a friendly handshake, before letting go a moment later. "This is how humans greet each other.." She smiled. Finally, a short time later as Sylvanas had her time to look around and eventually pick out her chosen dress, she would return to see not only Dorothy there, but her favorite grumpy Reaper returned as well! Darn. For someone who despised her so much, he sure didn't want to stay away long! Her face did light up a bit with Dorothy's very excitedly put compliments, it even surprised her a bit! "Hehe..Thank you..I might have to shop her more often. If only you had a free teleportation Reaper realm card.." She said jokingly, of course nothing of such existed! She had no way in or out but for MEANIE over here. Speaking of the meanie, boy was he a real jerk! It would kill him to say one nice thing to her! She was about to say something, though her moment came to a stop the moment she noticed Dorothy tapping somewhere on Aeon's body that clearly made her uncomfortable. She did it as though it was normal! ....Was this also something Reapers did without a second thought? ...Was it normal? No, such actions were hardly normal! Not in any world! Yet..she couldn't say anything, she couldn't even get angry. The girl obviously didn't realize how improper it was.."....He has a weakness against weaker girls I think.." She managed to say, in response to Dorothy amusingly knocking him down with just a hip bump. "You are so nice..I'm happy to have met you, and to have gotten the chance to make a new friend. If you are able to teleport, you should come visit me in Midgar. I have a little shop called the Shooting Star there, you will always be welcome.." If it didn't get destroyed before she got back. It had a bad habit of getting destroyed more so then the city of Midgar! Laughing as she took a step back, Sylvanas glanced down to the sad sight that was Aeon, on his back and on the floor. "I don't know..you aren't interrupting anything apparently, since we aren't a couple and i'm just a 'slave' to him. Since that is the case, maybe if you do in fact have the ability to teleport, would you mind taking me back to Midgar? "

We're going to win." The more her mother spoke, the more Velora's smile seemed to grow. "So quick to defend him!" She pointed out cheerfully. "You've changed, dear mother. You can make excuses if you'd like... you wanted to foil my plans, not help anyone... you're just saving Ephraim because he's your best chance to win... you can say those things. You can try so hard to fool yourself and everyone else, but you can't fool me. I remember vividly how you were before I usurped the throne. So hellbent on death and destruction... you tried to kill Ephraim many times without remorse. Now, you're down on your knees, trying desperately to save his life. THIS--this visage I see before me now--you kneeling, you never would've done anything like this before. Not even to save yourself. But you do it now to save him. It's so cute. Either you've developed some kind of feelings for him you're unwilling to admit, both to him and yourself, or you have some level of empathy. Either way, you've changed." She raised good points--it seemed Velora's observational skills were also rather impressive. That wasn't terribly surprising given everything that had happened thus far. "Aw, are you worried about him?" She grinned. "Don't worry, he won't die..." She did intend to heal him after he was in a cell, though ironically he put his life in further danger by choosing to fight her again. But it all worked out in the end. Aside from the profusely bleeding with no way to heal, but hey, he won. He almost had to concede to everyone who called him reckless after this little stunt, but he did win, so how reckless was it really? ...Definitely the right way to think about it. "Wouldn't that be convenient for you?" She did want him dead, didn't she? ...Then why did her voice sound so irritated by his risk? Maybe he was just imagining things. He didn't exactly have the best track record with reading the emotions of women. ...Still, he thought he knew Krul quite well. It was nice that she caught him, but he couldn't manage to thank her through all his pain. He did notice though, and it did surprise him. He grimaced through gritted teeth as he laid there. "I still won, didn't I?" He said in the same way, as if that were all that mattered. He didn't want to be imprisoned here with Velora holding the keys--he had escaped when Krul was the master, but Velora was a much different case. He had a feeling they wouldn't get any regular cell, and their chances of escape would be embarrassingly low. And if he didn't stop her, Midgar would be taken, and with both himself and Avalanche indisposed as prisoners in this realm there would be little to defend against her conquest washing over the rest of the world. Only mainly the Shepherds, but he doubted they would manage to fend them off alone. "Your selfishness is getting to be a bit burdensome..." Ephraim managed to say as she verified she had little way to heal other people besides herself. It almost sounded playful, though. As playful as it could when he was bleeding out the shoulder, stomach, leg, and mouth, anyway. His gambit--if you could even call it that, since it was his only chance left--seemed to pay off, but not in the way that he expected. Ironically, he had wanted to request a moment prior that they not go to L'Arachel for the healing, as he didn't want to worry her, and he expected the sight of him bleeding profusely and on the verge of death would do just that. In that moment of teetering on the edge of life and death, however, he couldn't exactly afford to be picky. Luckily for him(?) it seemed as though Krul hadn't been entirely honest moments before. The feeling of her lips pressed against his was not something he expected, but it was by far the most pleasant thing he was feeling. Granted, it was being compared to the feeling of bleeding out and literally dying, but still, quite nice. A similarly pleasant sensation was yet to come, however, as the whole bleeding out and dying thing began to patch itself up. It was like having your cake and eating it too. His quickened breathing and heartbeat gradually began to return to normal, and color began to return to his once deathly pale face. He still felt soreness from where he had been stabbed needless to say, but he felt incredible strength welling within him. It was quite a welcome feeling after how terribly weak he felt moments prior. It was difficult to believe how much different he felt now. It hit a tipping point, though, and the strength gains began dipping, until they stopped, and he practically felt beyond 110%. That was when he expected her to part, but she didn't... His eyes opened momentarily, as if trying to confirm what his lips were feeling and his mind was processing. Indeed, he wasn't hallucinating, and he was quite sure he was still alive. This seemed to corroborate what Velora had been saying moments prior, and in addition, she had chosen not only to not kill him in his most vulnerable moment, but to save him. This was a much different Krul than the one who had stood over him, a foot pressed into his chest, as she ordered Athena to kill him. ...How was he to feel about this? Perhaps he was just trying to convince himself of something that wasn't true--desperately wanting to believe that she might feel the way that he did for her. But there was evidence to support it... "..." Eventually, the two would naturally part, and his blue eyes stared directly into her red eyes, as if searching for the answer to the questions his heart couldn't let go of. "You saved me..." He said at last, sounding both surprised and relieved. "I suppose that makes up for one of the many times you've tried to kill me." He said, a smile playing at his lips. A genuine smile--one that few seemed to see, especially these days when he was stressed so often. "...Ah." He pushed himself up from his seated position, raising up to his knees. "I got some blood in your hair..." He slid off one of his very bloody gloves, leaning towards her and reaching with his bare left hand, running his fingers through her pink hair slowly. This had happened when he gripped her by the skull to remove the collar, of course. He ran his hand through her hair a few times, before pulling it back, smiling. "Better. Your hair is already-- I mean, that is to say, I... I prefer this look for you." Her hair was pretty as it always was, but the romantically impaired king couldn't exactly just cough those words out. "..." He looked down to the blood in his hand for a moment, purposefully averting his eyes. He seemed to be studying that slightly bloody hand for several moments, as though he might find the answer to some age-old riddle if only he inspected it hard enough. "..." He exhaled sharply, closing his eyes as he removed his right glove now. And at last, his eyes found their way back to Krul's once again. "The mission was a success," he said at last. "But I have one last order for you." He leaned towards her, giving her little room to move, as he placed his bare hands against her shoulders, pushing her down against the floor. "You have a hideaway somewhere, don't you? Take us there." He didn't seem to be asking, positioning himself over her as he leaned down, initiating another lip-to-lip contact. As he pushed into her, his hands naturally found their way away from her shoulders to her hands, interlocking their fingers as he leaned back a bit, lowering his face towards her neck. "Don't forget Siegmund," he muttered with a surprising level of authority into her neck, before beginning to kiss it. Goodness, this certainly was getting hot all of a sudden."This coming from YOU? Do you even know the meaning of irony?" Aeon spat back at her, continuing their routine of treating each other as though they were an old, angry married couple. "What?! That was- those were luck! Do you really want to test your luck against me again? We'll see who's planted on the ground this time." It would definitely go so much different than all the other times!"Pshh, don't worry about that," Dorothy said cheerfully as Sylvanas tried to encourage her. "It was just a teenage fling or something. Honestly, it's a bit embarrassing how much I cried over it. But hey, if I don't feel my feelings, no one will, right?" She didn't seem the type to be weighed down too much at least. As Sylvanas affirmed her suspicions, Dorothy nodded. She assumed it was something like that, he definitely wasn't looking at her like he'd look at a lover or anything. More so a crying little sister. "Well... I dunno all the details, but it's no secret the Forest Kingdom hates Reapers more than any other group. They've always considered us an affront to nature, or something... and then, I heard their last king was killed by one of us. I'd call that the straw that broke the camel's back, but I think that camel's been dead for a while." She shook her head. "I'm not surprised he would be exiled for becoming one of us. I wonder if their queen would still hate us all if she saw all this... I mean, every week we all have big parties in the bar, or in the plaza, or in the amusement park. It's always so fun, so much laughter and happiness. I just- when I see that, I can't think that Reapers are some evil species, or an "affront to nature." It was thanks to Queen Velora that myself, and many others, saw that we could be more than what others imposed on us." She let out a short sigh, before adjusting her glasses, smiling again. "Anyway, sorry for that tangent. I'm sure it'll all work out eventually. I just hope that Athena still accepts Aeon even as a Reaper..." It might be crushing for him if she hated him, at least, that's what Dorothy thought from how he acted about her.Sylvanas and Dorothy were certainly getting along well, as Aeon noticed from his position on his back, laying there in his typical irritation. He could've gotten up, but who cared. It's not like getting up quickly would somehow erase that he got knocked over again by a weakling. But then came her last words, directed at Dorothy. That got him to sit up. "What?! You're still going on about that?" He got up to his feet, baring his teeth in apparent anger at the innocent human girl. Then, his expression returned to neutral, as he let out a short breath. "That's what you want? Fine..." he muttered, placing his hand on her head. "...such an idiot..." He muttered, though he wasn't looking at her when he said it. Energy gathered at his palm, and after a moment, she'd vanish from the store, being sent back to Midgar, into her own shop. "....""Aeon... Is that what you want? She seemed nice, and I think she liked you...""She sure seemed in a ******** hurry to leave for someone who liked me!" He shouted in apparent frustration. Though as he noticed Dorothy's expression, he let out another breath, shaking his head. "Doesn't matter. I have better things to do." He walked out of the shop, and at his emergence, Gungnir let out an inquisitive growl. "She's gone. Happy to be away from me." Aeon said in response, causing Gungnir to lower his head, letting out a sad roar. "Then go find her! I have better things to do." He said coldly as he made his way back to the castle. Idiot... What an idiot he was. Why would she want to spend time with him? He was trying to be courteous and get her dinner. Wasn't that customary for humans when they did intimate things? He didn't give a s**t about anyone else he had done that with, but... he thought she'd appreciate it... He shook his head. "Last time I go out on a ******** limb..." He muttered to himself as he pushed open the doors to the castle. He had never felt like such an idiot. (( OOC: ))

Krul let Velora's words disappear in the air as she had chose to ignore them, why bother speaking further when she would find some way to out smart her again? It was hardly worth the risk! She could deny it all night, but her daughter was to suborn to believe her! "...For a weak, dying man...you sure talk a lot! " Ah, the love between them could be felt for miles! Her cold behavior only really seemed to spike each time he did something risky, that also included talking. He was weak and deathly pale, losing more blood then any human could survive if it went on longer, and yet he still found ways to make little jokes. "You won't win anything if you keep talking. You're a human, act like it and preserve your strength. " Talking did take up quite a bit of energy for one in such a dire state as he was in. The amount of blood was a frightening sight, she couldn't even imagine how those closer to him would feel had they seen him in this condition. But no one would, as Krul decided to take matters into her own hands.Whatever her reason for taking it upon herself to heal him her own way was, it sure didn't help her stack of potential lies that she wanted the world to believe about her feelings for Ephraim. She could very likely of healed him without the added kiss, but she choose to kiss him as she let her own life energy flow into his body, which very quickly began to heal his lethal open wounds.Every little thing she did contradicted everything she tried to say, and she still didn't quite realize that yet! After what seemed like a large amount of time, the two would eventually come to part, and Krul would now find her eyes gazing into those blue eyes of his. Did she realize she was gazing? Like a love-struck fool. She was hardly in love with him! She didn't know the meaning of love, yet there she was, finding it difficult to turn away. "......." Her expression fell into a abnormally cute head tilt, as if he had just said something completely strange to her. Blood in her hair? As if that would bother her. She wasn't exactly calm when she had a human and serenitian snack. It did tend to involve a lot of blood! Ephraim may notice something she clearly didn't, too, as her pale cheeks seemed to catch a small hint of color. The color of a blushing face, feeling his hands running through her hair was...strange, but also soothing in some way. A foreign feeling for her, no doubt. This day may live on in her memory for the rest of her life, as it only continued to..intensify feelings she didn't even know she was capable of having. This was unlike her time with him during their...more intimate moments she literally forced upon him. She was always in control during those times, and her heart in that time was far darker then what it was right now. The long aged question of if Krul even had a heart would be answered, as it began to rapidly pick up in beating as she felt the cold flooring at her back suddenly. She was no longer looking down at him, but instead, up where he now positioned himself over her. "..! " How strange, to be completely speechless, for the first time in her existence, she was at a loss for words, her excitement certainly wasn't allowing her to protest against what was happening, as if she really, truly wanted to stop it. ".....D-don't think...this means anything...!" Well, at least she could get that bit out. Because it was SO true and all. With that, the pair, as well as Siegmund, would vanish from the area of the castle they were in, only to moments later appear in a very large, soft bed. While still being connected to the Reaper realm and castle, she made home to a smaller castle she and her own following Reapers shared. They would now be there in her bed. Yeah. She totally hated him, it showed so clearly!

We're going to win." It was true, Ephraim really shouldn't be talking. He knew that well enough to keep his mouth shut while fighting Velora, to conserve as much strength as he could to win. But just as before, it seemed as though he were just strangely more relaxed with Krul. They had a very bizarre chemistry... it was as though they had gotten to know each other very well through their constant battles and bickering. They had REALLY gotten to know each other a few times, but that was beside the point. Though it was possible that added to it as well. They had tried to kill each other numerous times, and yet, things seemed different now. The moment of his restoration would come at last, though, and things continued to intensify from Krul's choice. Perhaps she would end up regretting her decision, or perhaps she would look back on it and be happy with her choices. Regardless, the choices had been made, and she soon did just as instructed, even with her unconvincing attempts at saving face. He wasn't surprised to find she had such a large, soft bed. It wasn't unlike her previous bed. Which he knew for... reasons. He leaned back a bit, his eyes still piercing into her own, as he removed his battered torso armor and completely ripped and disheveled shirt. What was left was, of course, Ephraim's lean and toned torso. "The last... several times we did this, you were in complete control. I was basically your plaything. And that was rather enjoyable in a few ways, but..." He leaned down, tugging her skirt down impatiently. "I think it's time I return the favor." This would probably be a new experience for the dominant Reaper. He placed both his hands on her shirt. "I hope this isn't expensive," He didn't hesitate for a moment before ripping her shirt open, leaving her now very close to being bare. "Better," he said, pushing his bare torso against hers as he brought her into another kiss. Ephraim was not typically this "smooth" with women, but with Krul... it really was different. He felt so comfortable here, with her. Comfortable enough to be pushy and demanding like this. And with this level of comfort, he could go about this as though it were a battle. One where he intended to take a commanding lead--and he had no intention to lose. "Time to get started..." He muttered into her lips, sliding one of his hands down her front To get her started... This would be a long battle, so a warm-up was in order, after all. (( OOC: ))

We have community, friendship, love... We have all the virtues of humanity. That is our weapon. That is our strength. Is everyone ready? We're going to win." Finally settling into a laying position beside Krul, Ephraim gave her no wiggle room to attempt an escape as he put his arm around her firmly, pulling her to him. He was panting a bit after... all that. "Are you quite satisfied yet?" He asked, as though their little entanglement was sooo bothersome to him. Given how these two were, they obviously didn't just stop at one go-around. As he laid there, holding his supposed sworn enemy in a rather warm embrace, he reflected on the choices he had made. Was this a terrible idea? Probably. He began to absentmindedly stroke her hair while she laid there, staring up at the ceiling. Yes, it was probably some grave error... and yet... for some reason, it felt so terribly right. It was difficult to grapple with these feelings... He had held affection for Krul for a long while, and now, with the indication that she felt similarly, it was beyond his power to resist the temptation to follow through on these strange feelings. Was this love? He didn't know. He didn't exactly know what romantic love felt like. But he did feel comfortable with her. Comfortable enough to be himself, and he believed she wouldn't shun him for that. It was ironic, given all their past battling... Shelfing those thoughts for the moment, he turned his gaze to his pink-haired lover, noting that she seemed exhausted. "You were tired when we began, weren't you? Did you share too much of your essence with me?" In that moment, they had connected however briefly, when she saved his life. She didn't have to explain what she did to do it, he just... knew. "Well, it's only fair I should return the favor. And honestly, the idea of your fangs in my neck isn't without its appeal..." As if she needed more encouragement than that, he pierced the skin on his index finger, moving his arm towards her to push the finger into her mouth gently, but with purposeful teasing. He rubbed the fresh blood against her tongue for a moment, before pulling his finger out. "Did that get your attention enough? Go on. Have your fill." He tilted his head a bit, allowing her easy access to his neck to do what she needed to do. Whether she'd be so docile and gentle about it after having her bloodlust awakened and teased like that was up to her, though--he certainly wasn't expecting anything else. (( OOC: ))

We're going to win." Ephraim had no expected such a genuine answer from the Reaper queen, and was rather visibly caught off-guard when she responded the way she did. "Ah... is that so?" It was a refreshing change of pace, that was for sure. He couldn't help but smile. It was incredibly encouraging that he had managed, especially since this was kind of his first time. They had participated in this act before, but as he expressed previously, he had been rather tied down at that time, and she was in full control. Well, all those times, for it was far more than once... "Well, I'm not one to aim for just above-average. Be ready for next time." He stated it in such a matter-of-fact tone--he had every intention to one-up himself constantly. With all his training, it should come as no surprise that he desired to improve himself. This was just another area to explore. He turned his gaze to her as he heard her voice once again. "Am I not allowed to simply bring you closer? Not that your answer matters to me." Obviously not, since he had done it regardless! "I've seen you flee from me many times. I don't know what the future holds for us, but I know that if I hold you here, at least for this moment, we'll be together. That is what I want." He wasn't used to speaking his mind so earnestly, but it went back again to how at ease he felt around Krul. Oddly. He supposed it was silly to worry about her fleeing. They were in her living area, after all. Where would she go? His house in Marvel? "I typically have a lot on my mind," Ephraim said elusively. That much was true, his mind could never stop to take a breather. Letting out a small sigh through his nose, he looked in her direction again. "I've loved you for a long time, Krul. Or at least, I think I have. Honestly, I'm not sure I know what love is. But I've been dueling with these thoughts for a long time. And I care deeply for L'Arachel too, but after the way we acted during our mission, I intended to break things off with her. No matter my feelings, it would be unfair to her to continue when I had feelings for another." He certainly didn't expect things to end up here, though. Krul tried very hard to convey the message that she had no interest in him. Yet that had clearly been proven false. "I can't do anything about that. All I can do is follow my feelings. Something I have little experience in." He wanted to do that once, long ago, to abandon his title and forge on his own as a mercenary. However, circumstance and immense guilt led to him growing into the position of king, and taking the throne he once had never wanted. He had little experience doing what he wanted to do--even as a child, he had mostly been alienated from others due to his status as crown prince. He never expected he'd experience love--at most he thought he'd end up in some political marriage for the betterment of Renais. But being here, in this improper moment, with Krul... he felt a degree of freedom and happiness he hadn't felt in a very, very long time. He put a hand on her cheek, turning her face so their eyes would meet. "I want to ride this out with you, Krul. For as far as we can go together. I think I'd have very deep regrets for the rest of my days if I didn't. Maybe it'll last forever. Maybe it'll go down in flames. I can't know, but I can't just turn my back on it either." Who knew what she thought about all this? She might have every intention to return back to her ways, but he didn't pick up any indication that she seemed incredibly against what he was feeling. They had certainly shared an intimate connection, and it wasn't just blind lust. At least, he didn't believe it was. "I didn't ask for your opinion on the matter," Ephraim said as she pointed out she wouldn't have any long-term issues. Well, of course she wouldn't. Not even death gave her long-term issues. But that was beside the point. They were here, together, in this moment. And this moment was his concern. "Oh? Quite the flattery." Ephraim responded with a grin. Saying that someone's blood was the tastiest was probably some kind of high flattery for Reapers, right? The thought was at least amusing to him. As her lips brushed against his neck, she would notice him shudder a bit in apparent anticipation. Being bitten wasn't something he necessarily fetishized, however, the idea of her doing it to him was not without its appeals... if they actually did remain together, it was likely he'd develop some kind of fetish for it. He tensed up a bit as he felt her fangs against his skin, but it would ultimately fail to pierce, and he would instead feel her tongue against his neck. This still managed to stir some excitement in him, as she'd likely notice. "You refusing an offer of blood? Are you sure you're feeling quite alright?" That smirk of hers was something he could certainly get used to seeing, and he returned the kiss she gifted to him. "Your concern is touching," he said as they parted, sliding his hand around her head to hold her by the back of her skull. "Though I'll remember your little tease next time you're feeling particularly impatient, you can count on that." What ever could the context be where he would tease her impatience? As if it even needed to be spelled out. Using his grip to pull her into yet another kiss, he ensured this one would last a bit longer--and be more enjoyable. As they kissed, he slid his arm under her, pulling her body against his and gladly allowing his hand to wander down a bit. The future was very uncertain for these star-crossed lovers, as it were. But at least in this moment, they could be together without worry or fear for what was to come next. (( OOC: ))

We have community, friendship, love... We have all the virtues of humanity. That is our weapon. That is our strength. Is everyone ready? We're going to win." "I didn't get that impression when you were laying there and moaning like a helpless schoolgirl," Ephraim responded without missing a beat. It was almost as though he was expecting her to challenge him like that. "I can't count the number of times you've underestimated me and been defeated. This will be another, though you might find this one to be a bit more enjoyable." If these two did stay together, it was certain they would have a very healthy and active love life. Their conversation invariably drifted into more serious territory though, which was expected given how legitimately insane this all was. "A monster wouldn't have saved her mortal enemy's life twice," Ephraim pointed out simply. There were two times in their prior engagement that her action or inaction could have led to Ephraim's death, but she went out of her way to save him. One time she even did something so humiliating to do it. Something she would never have done before she had apparently changed. She had done terrible things in the past--that much was clear. But that could be said of many. "That makes two of us. I think it fitting that two so ignorant with love would come together. Frankly, it doesn't matter to me what you say to me. I'm much more interested in what you do to me." He paused for a moment. "...That came out wrong. I mean, actions are more important to me than words. ...Not to say I'm not interested in what you do to me in that way, but... well, that's..." He shook his head, feeling himself blush a bit. "Just- never mind." If Krul thought SHE was bad with words when it came to romance, she should really buckle up. And this was AFTER what they just did, which just made him look and feel sillier. "Who made you my advisor? I believe I'm capable of making my own decisions." Especially when it came to matters like love. ...Then again, he was incredibly incompetent in that area, but... still! "Krul, your past doesn't define you. You've done terrible things, but you're not the only one. The path to power is stained with blood. I didn't become as strong as I am by stabbing a training dummy. I can't count how many families I've robbed of mothers, brothers, fathers--who knows. It's just as Velora said--I'm not innocent either. We could lay here and debate the morality and ethics of my actions, but boiling it down to numbers, I've killed many people. And in addition, I've made terrible mistakes that led to people dying. My father, Orson, Lyon... my mistakes led either directly or indirectly to the death of many who were close to me. That's why I live on and do what I can to honor the memories of those who have died because of me. You may think you're bound to this fate you've created for yourself, but you aren't. People can change. I did. You can, too. It won't happen overnight, but you can be so much more than your past. I believe that with all that I am." He didn't seem terribly interested in her insistence that he shouldn't be with him. He had desired this too long to simply quit now. "I'm not giving up on you, I'm afraid. Kick and scream all you want, but we're in this together now." What they had done together--how beautiful it was--that cemented it for him. As with any couple who was enjoying the newness, though, topics rarely stayed serious too long. "There's that underestimation again. Do you intend to test my strength again so soon? I would love to see you try to prove that I'm weak against you." And there was his challenge to her--he couldn't deny the fact that being put beneath her had its appeals as well. But she'd have to earn that position this time. "My mind often drifts back to our last... indecent experience with each other. It can sometimes make it hard to think straight. You certainly do know how to make someone feel utterly dominated... and it's... far from unenjoyable. Though seeing you helpless beneath me is also enough to drive me wild. All that to say... I enjoy our time together, regardless of what we do." That was one way to put it. Perhaps he could've been a bit more smooth about it, but, well, this was Ephraim. He was interested in trying other things too, as in, non-sexual things with her. Like dating, yes. That would be quite the picture indeed. But that would wait until later, as would everything else, as they enjoyed this moment together with a nice, deep kiss. (( OOC: ))

Velora Upon appearing in the realm, Velora let out a soft sigh, moving her hand along the top of her body. As she did, her form shifted and changed, from the cute, helpless girl with long hair and glasses, "Cordelia," into the short-haired, armored and dominant Reaper queen, Velora. "What do you think, sister? Like my "new" look?" She giggled, and had Aiko been in Midgar at the time of the Reaper invasion, she would almost certainly recognize her as the hologram who had been overseeing it--the queen of the Reapers herself. Considering she was the queen, and she had organized an invasion so efficient that it had almost taken Midgar in less than an hour... it was obvious just how dangerous it was that this woman was successfully posing as the daughter of Unisha. ...But Velora and Aiko both knew that no one would take Aiko's warnings seriously if she did tell her parents or siblings about this. That was perhaps one reason Velora felt comfortable bringing her here. "I can keep a secret if you can~" she winked."Queen Velora!" A very chipper girl's voice shouted, as a young girl with wolf ears and a wolf tail hopped up and hugged Velora excitedly. "So glad you're back! Aeon told me I look fat!!""Aha, I'll have to punish him later, Lyla.""Whoa! A Serenitian! She's so cute!" Lyla hopped over to Aiko excitedly. "She's so cute!! Oh, gosh! So-! Ow!!"Velora smacked Lyla lightly. "She's going to become one of us, of her own choice. Don't treat her like a child.""Hrrrmmm...!" Lyla rubbed her head with a pout, before looking back at Aiko, smiling brightly. "I see! That's cool! I'm sorry I spoke to you like that, aha..." She held out her hand to shake hers. "I'm Lyla! I hope we can become friends! We're both wolves after all, gotta stick together!" She paused for a moment. "Er, no, maybe you aren't, but... people close to you are, right? Well! That works just as well!" She couldn't turn into a wolf, but she very clearly had wolf-person blood in her given her animal features."You two can talk more later, Lyla, if Aiko wants to." Lyla nodded, waving to Aiko happily, as Velora led Aiko out of the room and towards her own. "Take a seat," she gently directed as they walked into the room, and there were two very comfortable chairs facing each other. Aiko would take one, and Velora would take the other. "Now... becoming a Reaper will be a painless process for someone who accepts it. You don't need to worry about being branded an outcast; as you've clearly seen, I can hide my Reaper status from Serenitian senses. And I'll bestow that ability to you, too. My question is... do you wish to remain a child?" She tilted her head. "You will become much stronger regardless, but there's a limit to how much power you can harness in this state. I could age you up as part of the turning process, by however many years you would like, or none at all, if you would prefer. Around sixteen is when a Reaper can theoretically harness their full potential, but every year you age you gain more power. If you have special requests for the type of power you would like, perhaps from seeing another Reaper use them, I can accommodate... but if you need time to think this over, you can have as much as you need. This is a big decision, and one that would be very hard--if not impossible--to reverse. I won't force it upon you. If you decide you're satisfied with yourself as you are now, I'll send you back unchanged. Just know... you'll always have a place here, in my true family. We would be happy to welcome you." Aiko took a moment to get a look of her surroundings, only to glance back to 'Cordelia'. Her shoulders shrugged softly as her face fell into a small smirk. "You're the most powerful one here, aren't you? ...So, why did you lose the attack on Midgar? " She was such a cocky girl, she really wasn't afraid to mock even the terrifyingly strong once-enemies, like the Reaper queen herself! It was a good question, though, if she was to gift her all this power, then why couldn't she succeed in her brilliantly laid out plan of the failed siege? "So, you're real name is Velora, huh? It gets around.." Her attention went to the new girls voice, one she didn't recognize but would probably never forget! "...." It was almost strange how detached from other people she really was, she almost didn't know how to respond to the rather energetic girl before her! "...It's okay, I guess.." After a brief moment, she would return the little hand shake. "I'm Aiko..and, um..I don't think i'm very good with socializing...so..don't get upset, okay? " She might actually NEED to hang out with this chipper girl, it might actually bring some life back to her like she used to be. The only time she seemed the most spoken was during a battle or argument, which was never really a good thing! "..Also...I can take the form of any animal...so, I kind of am..my brother can turn into a big wolf with wings, though. I can't do that.." It was kind of disappointing! Still she had her ways of flight, from bird to a tiny dragon. As they left, Aiko gave a tiny wave back before they left for another room. Strange to walk in on a room with two comfy looking seats, facing one another, but she would dismiss that and take her seat. She would sit there and listen to all Velora had to say, without interrupting her until she was clearly finished explaining her idea, and by the end, she might be able to see the disappointment on Aiko's face. "..Oh...I see..I didn't know you meant this power would only come from becoming a Reaper.." She sighed. "I can't do that..even if you give me the ability to hide it from everyone, I know somehow, someway or another someone will see through it, like I said with you. There's also the problem of my oldest sister, Cosmos...It wouldn't be hard for her to see...and then everyone would hate me more then they already do. Especially those in Serenity, they already hate that i'm half demon..Can't imagine how they would react if they knew I decided to become a Reaper for power.." She paused a moment, before continuing. "I do want to become stronger, more then anything! ....But I don't know that I can do that...and as for aging, um..." Wow, suddenly she felt guilty, as if she was wasting her time bringing her here, as if it was so much trouble. "I'm happy just being as I am, I think if I stay at my age now, and keep trying to get stronger...wouldn't I become strong as I get older if I don't give up? " She paused again for a moment. ".....I would like to think this over..if that's really okay." Even if she decided against everything, one good thing would come out of it, she would now see Velora and HER Reapers weren't quite as bad as she and everyone thought. Krul on the other hand was a different story.

Velora Velora chuckled at her question, apparently less bothered by her words than she may have expected. "Calling that a loss would be shortsighted. The invasion was a test... and I learned a lot from that test. Experience is much more valuable to me than instant victory." It would've been convenient for her conquest to seize Midgar on that day, but there would be more opportunities... After Aiko had her short conversation with the bubbly wolf girl, and the two had taken their seats, Velora crossed her legs as she allowed Aiko to respond. "Cosmos, my little sister?" She let out a small giggle. "She already failed to see through my disguise, so why would she see through yours? Not even Nero would be able to tell I was a Reaper while disguised, you know." That was a rather alarming revelation. Velora leaned to the side slightly. "Of course. You can achieve great results with effort alone, though they won't come quickly. It may be decades until you can get power comparable to what I'm offering you. Though, of course, the choice is yours." Aiko's hesitance here wasn't surprising to her, but that she came with her at all, knowing what she did, proved that she wasn't wholly against this. "You have as long as you'd like. I can send you back home now, if you'd like. Though... I would appreciate if you strolled through our home, here. Speak to some of my family. See what this allegedly awful, terrible place truly is. You might be surprised by what you find... and I'd like you to realize, if you did take this power, that being a Reaper isn't so terrible. We're not as bad as a lot of your friends and family would like you to believe. The reason I fight is to clear this misunderstanding. I want to dispel ignorance and break down the dividing walls between Reapers, Serenitians, and humans. I've tried to be diplomatic, but there are too many close-minded people. That is why I fight." If Aiko did choose to wander around, she would come to see that people like Lyla weren't as uncommon as she may expect in this realm--something Sylvanas had seen as well when she came. And they had build quite a nice little community here in this realm. Though, of course, that was up to her. "If you do choose to see more of this realm, you don't have to worry--no one here will endanger or try to attack you." Even if they did, though, Velora would stop them. Harshly. (( OOC: ))

"Don't you think that was a bit harsh for a test? With what everyone thinks of the Reapers, it's not the best idea to threaten a city that houses this worlds hero's. I think there can be easier ways to show them what you want to do, without the need for scaring them or forcing into something they don't agree with.." "...Really? ....She must be more brain dead then I thought...but then that would make Nero brain dead too, that's harder to believe. He's smart, my sister isn't.." Poor Cosmos. "....Okay.." She was obviously disappointed, but it seemed she was also strong enough to not accept such a massive life-changing thing right away. "..I'm gonna think about it, so...um...okay, I have a question. If I did accept it someday...If I became like you..Do I HAVE to drink blood? ..I really don't want to have to survive like that. " She took a moment to think, there was quite a bit to think about! "..And..what about you're mom, and her followers? ..I can see the differences from you, and her. You're the nice one, stuck in the image she put up for the world to believe...What will you do about her? She still is a threat, and as long as she's around, won't that continue to hurt you and you're Reapers? There won't fully be trust, I think..her Reapers are manipulative, and I bet they can mess with human minds enough that they can't see the differences in yours.." Glancing back to the door she came through moments ago, Aiko returned her attention back to Velora with a small nod. "Okay..I don't really think i'll be a lot of fun to them, though.." Standing from the chair she was sitting at, Aiko took a step away...only to turn back to her again. "..You know....I can help you too..I can try my best to convince my family and the rest of the world somehow, that you aren't bad. I can try to tell them about Krul and you're differences.Though, I guess they might not believe me..I can still try though, right? "
