Reaching another person, Kari tried to shake off a bad feeling at seeing them laying motionless on the floor. Her fears were realized when a touch to their skin proved they were no longer alive. She had to move on.

The two kids were sobbing and crying and actually gave her a hug after she said that. Unsure of how to respond to it, she merely patted their heads awkwardly and glanced around nervously. They were going to move?!? Weird. Pointing them in the direction of the safe-area, she quickly guided them to safety, all the while being careful so as to not get spotted by a monster. Finally, the arrived safely-- which was good. Imbere wouldn't have been able to stomach seeing the kids get murdered by the shadows. Ushering them somewhere safe, she felt like she wasted time helping the kids when she should've been getting more items. What a stupid use of her time.

Kari nearly jumped in joy when she found three bottles of water. The only thing she couldn't handle now were patients that were too far gone. Packing away the newly found supplies, Kari raced to find her next patient.

Looking for supplies once more, Kari was glad that she was able to obtain more water, but was worried that she wouldn't have enough fire to close wounds if she needed it.
She could only do what she could and worry about it when it happened. She would only drive herself mad thinking about the what-ifs.

Kari cringed as the next person came into view. It looked to be an abdominal wound, and a pretty nasty one at that. Pushing down her squeamish feelings, she reached for some alcohol to clean the area. Once it was sanitized, Kari carefully started using a flame to burn the skin together.

Lock breezed into the shelter, coat fluttering in the wind while he muttered something about "Inebriates." Gawain was barking orders at them, but Lock was actually quite used to getting orders barked at him (though where he had gained this habit was a mystery).
Supplies seemed to be in the highest demand, so Lock started there. He wanted to be useful in any way he could and it seemed that the best way to do so would be to gather up materials for himself.
He worked quickly and efficiently. He was a no-nonsense kind of person, and this job required no nonsense. It fit.
For some reason he grabbed a shitton of alcohol (three, to be exact), two piles of bandages and other binding materials, and one torch to work beside (it was a rather dark room).
Once he set up his little station, he looked around the room and grimaced at some of the carnage. The only sound between the moans and groans of anguished warriors was the clinking of bottles, the ripping of cloth and the occasional murmured prayer for the deceased.
Lock had never actually seen proper death from fatalities, and he would admit only to himself that it shocked him quite a bit. He steeled himself for the patients to come. It would do them no good if he was panicking.

The first of his patients came in with a nasty gash on his leg, one that was leaking the putrid black shadowy substance. Lock tried to put on a good face, but his disgust was so apparent that even the shoulder looked sad.
Luckily Lock had the prepared ingredients, and he did his best to close the wound. With sleeves rolled up and glasses tightly fixed to his face, he was very attractive this way.

Someone came in with a wound he was unsure how to handle. Hesitantly, he looked to Gawain for help.
However, the knight had vanished and Lock embarrassedly had to stand up to go gather more supplies. "I'll return shortly," he told the wounded. Hopefully he could move quickly enough.
