Since the bar was the closest spot to the door, Night often took that as an opportunity to greet the entering customers. Usually, he only needed to give a smile and they were immediately lured over to the bar. Of course, he couldn't do that on the busy days, but today was particularity a slow one at least. Hearing the door, Night gives a charming smile at the customer and a warm word of welcome. Whether or not they decided to come to the bar or sit at one of the tables was entirely up to the customer, he didn't care either way as long as they didn't cause any trouble. Though he would like better company than a few old men drinking themselves stupid on one end of the bar. He liked a good drink too, but he didn't want to be like them again, wasn't worth the health problems that it could cause normal humans. He was luckily that he had such a strong werewolf body that easily got rid of such toxins.

He picks up a couple of empty glasses from the drunkards before moving to wash them and dry them off so he could place them back with the clean glasses. he liked his area to remain clean and neat or else things became crowded and there was a mess everywhere. That was a problem. And he couldn't allow it. A messy area always led to a few broken glasses or a health code violation. Last thing Night wanted was to end up having to search for a new job because the place gets shut down when it could have been prevented. He needed to keep this stable income for as long as he could so that he didn't have to go back home right away. Sure, he missed his dad and the forge, but he still wanted to continue his adventure.

Rearranging the glasses, he sets them up neatly in a way that he would be capable of grabbing them with more ease. It was always satisfying to see something come together when you were done cleaning up. he wasn't a clean freak or anything, but he liked the act of cleaning itself. It gave him the capability of thinking things out while also giving him the satisfaction of seeing something in its completion.

▶ Soon after the initial shock, Elin looked over towards the bar to find a man, who seems very fitting to be working here, smiling at him. Elin smiled back, showing his pearly whites as he headed towards the counter. It's been a good day of being back in town, and he honestly was eager to talk to someone, anyone at this point. He shut himself down for a while to gain control of his emotions, and honestly powers as well, so this was very well needed. His smile lightened as he placed his hands ontop of the bar, assisting Elin in he seat. He drummed softly as he pondered the drink he'd get, coming in here to just get a glass of water was a waste of this mans time, so he'd forgo that option and get at least one alcoholic drink. But nothing seemed to interest him. With a small tilt of his head, Elin hummed out with a sheepish smile this time as he looked around. It was kinda dead in here to be a bar, then again it was in the middle of the day. He thought that bars closed down during the day, well with the exception of sports bars that is. Kinda dead in here. Elin muttered out with his sheepish smile as he placed his elbow on the bar, his head atop the palm of his hand, It's nice though, the loud music and customers would've been a bit much for me. He joked as he watched the man clean some of the glasses. In truth, Elin was stalling so he could figure out what kind of drink to get, of course that's the hardest decision.

Night watched as the gentleman walked up, a grin spreading on his face as he gave himself a small victory for another person visiting the bar. He was bound to be better company for sure. The man sat down and rest there a minute with a bit of a troubled expression. Was he not much of a drinker? His grin turned into a small smile while his left hand picked up a clean glass. He fills the glass 1/4 of the way with ice before filling it with a clear liquid and setting the cold drink in front of the gentleman with a coaster and napkin around it. With a charming smile, Night wipes any excess liquids off the bar table and faces the man.

"You look a little unsure of what you want, so please start off with some water, it is on the house of course. As you said, it is quite dead, so take your time in picking what sounds good to you."

Everyone had their own preferences and circumstances when they came into this place. Some want an escape from their lives, others a place to hang out with their friends. There were even people that had no real reason to be here but came by because they just felt a strong urge to come in. Looking at his current visitor, he felt that it could be the latter. he didn't seem like a lad that would really eve drink in Night's opinion. But then again, neither did Benny, a man that he met here before that had spent quite a bit of time here drinking himself drunk. Smiling softly to himself at the thought, he wondered how that person was doing today. It has been a little while since he had last seen a familiar face other than the drunk regulars. Maybe he could make another friend today with this new face sitting in front of him. It was always nice to make friends in a city that you could still be considered new in.

"So, what brings you into the Captain's deck today good sir? Is it business, pleasure, or just a random spur of the moment?"

After making their little pit stop at Drizyrr's home in Ombre, the two finally made it to The Captain's Deck! It took them a little while, especially since she got distracted by the beach's waves and decided to play around a little bit, but they actually made it on time. Hooray for not being late to work! It didn't seem like too many people were in attendance at the bar at the moment, but the night could bring in more customers later on, probably. Releasing the Drow's arm, she gave him a little smile and a small wave. " I have to get dressed, but feel free to sit at the bar and get a drink on me if ya want~ " With that said, she made her way back to the dancer's dressing room. It was a separate room from just the regular employee's room, so it was slightly bigger as well. It was filled with a few small dressing rooms and a few mirrors and vanities for make up and other things. It must've been a really slow night since Ceres didn't really see any of the other dancers back in the dressing rooms. There were a couple out entertaining what few guests they had, but other than that, that was it. Oh well. The woman decided to get dressed in her outfit. Honestly, it was just something she had bought on her own because she thought it was cute, but she didn't really have anything to wear it for except for now. She also brought along a pair of plain white heels and a sheer white silk robe. The robe's length stopped around Ceres's ankles, so it was fairly long. It would've covered up a lot of it was so sheer and transparent, but it went with her outfit rather nicely she thought.

Once she had her outfit all put together, she decided to do her hair and a little bit of make up. She didn't really go all out - she wasn't really super skilled at dolling herself up. All she really did was slightly curl her long hair to give it some natural waves, and as for make up, she kept it natural with a slight sultry twist. Since there seemed to be a schedule for the dancers about who went on stage at what time, Ceres assumed that she was just supposed to be entertaining guests until it was her turn to go up. Before she went out back to the bar, Ceres gave herself one more look over in the mirror. It was a bit weird to wear lingerie out like this, but she was a stripper burlesque dancer now, so she had to get used to it. Besides, it was probably more decent than her usual choice of clothes...which was literally nothing. If being completely nude was acceptable, she'd definitely wouldn't be wearing anything. Buuut, since society requests people to wear clothes, this would have to do for now.

After several minutes, the Dryad finally left and walked out of the dressing room, heading back towards Drizyrr. She gave him a big grin before she spun around to show him. " So what do you think? I didn't really have a reason to wear this until now. So I guess I spent my money well, huh? "

"Night never ending
The weapons we bring are our souls
You know, You know
You know what it means to feel real
So rise up, claim the sky
We fight, We fight
Night never ending.”

Drizyrr Zaulyl

They hadn't taken too long of a "pit stop," as she termed it, at his house. He had lead her in, then opened curtains a little so that she could see, then left her to explore on her own while he was in his bedroom swapping out his weapons. He pulled out a dagger from his pants pocket opposite the one she had seen, and another from a little pouch in his sleeve. He took a key out from yet another pouch and unlocked the cupboard in the room, revealing...not much actually. He put the two daggers in there, then pulled out his scimitar and tied its sheath tightly to his belt. He felt so much more complete after donning it, so much less vulnerable. Once he was through, he locked the cupboard back up then escorted her to work. It had taken longer than he would have expected, namely because they passed a beach and she wanted to play in the water. He just stood and stared. He had never seen an ocean before, or a real beach for that matter. He didn't bother with saying anything about it to her, as she seemed to be having enough fun for the both of them. It was sort of intimidating though, he had to admit. The bar itself was not nearly the most sketch place he had ever been, not by a long shot, but it was still sufficiently sketch that he made a mental list of where his two daggers were, and made sure the path from his hand to his scimitar was clear at all times. Not that he was worried about himself, no. He was worried about her.

Though she had offered, he declined the invitation to get a drink on her account. She was working this job so that she could afford things for herself. It would have been rude to deprive her of that. Plus, he still owed her for the food she had given him, he hated to admit how much he had needed that. He didn't start his job until Monday, and he wouldn't receive any sort of pay until Friday, so he would have a long stretch of having to live off of something. Maybe no one would mind if he combed the forest for food. And he shouldn't be drinking because he had to stay alert, to protect her. Hopefully the proprietor of this establishment would not mind. If he did, it could be settled quietly enough, so long as the man was not a screamer. He looked around the place, trying to mentally prepare himself. Ceres was already a beautiful woman, and even though he had seen her completely nude, there was something about dressing scandalously that seemed more erotic than seeing the natural body. It was a bizarre phenomena, but entirely true in his experience.

Even though he had tried to prepare himself, nothing could have prepared him. He nearly choked on his reply, and was particularly glad that his long coat covered him well. He managed to clear his throat,
"you had that lying around? Yes, very well spent. Looks good on you. Nice...color?"

"Long was the hour for the valiant knight that would ne'er be sick or slain
Lonely the bower in the candle light with neither kith nor kin
Storm clouds over the full moon raced, as he swung to the dapple grey
And man and horse to the westward faced on the eve of an All Saints' Day.

He's laid his hand on his hunting horn and with his dying breath
Has blown a blast to the blazing morn that would rouse the angel of death
High in the cusp of the starry night he heard his grey hawk mew
As out of the misty morning light his ghostly greyhounds flew.

Waillee waillee my noble lord who wakes me from my rest
There's none can heal the wounds of time that lie bloody on your breast"

Lysander casually strolled into the bar/club, instantly bombarded by strobe lights and music. Even for the afternoon, the place was alive. Everyone had their vices and he was no different. He was spending most days lost in a haze as he tried to figure out his emotions about his twin's death. Nothing was really working. Days were spent nursing hangovers. Nights were spent spiraling into the void of alcohol and pleasures of the skin, if he could help it. Of course, just like any other city there were working girls; even if scarce. All the blonde wanted was to forget and so he made his way through the various clubs. Although, he was spending more time at Neon Lights thanks to his 'teaching' Meg how to be a stripper, but it was about time he came to the bar he used to manage. Now the manager of the salon in his downtime, it was nostalgic to be back. It dug up memories of his sister and he immediately strayed to the bar.

In the haze of the light show, his ruby orbs gave off a glow that made them look like lights of their own. Grabbing a seat at the bar, he flagged down a bartender and ordered his drink; something strong enough to make the memories fade. More into wine, he would probably drink that at home since it was doubtful they had anything good. As he waited, the businessman looked around and took note that nothing about the establishment had changed, just the faces. "I'm not blind..." he muttered to himself as his glass was set before him, answering the disembodied voice hissing in his ear. It was hyper sensitive to 'sin' and this place was full of them. The sound of the demonic voice reminded him of his bloodied coughing fit in the caves and the fact that he wouldn't be around much longer himself. Taking a rather large gulp of his drink, he got up from the bar and made his way through the floor, hoping to silence the sound of it long enough so he wouldn't go crazy.

Ruby lights settled on a brunette twirling around for a guy that didn't look like a paying customer. Specifics weren't important on the male as men weren't his type right now given the disappearance of his own husband. Walking up to her, Lysander casually slid his arm around her bare shoulders; always the type to love reactions. Bring his glass up to his lips to hide them, he hovered his lips next to her ear, "Are you on the clock?" he whispered to her. Despite the extra body near them, Lysander paid him no mind as he didn't care about the guy in the slightest.

Seeing how flustered Drizyrr seemed to be, Ceres was now in a slightly mischievous mood. A playful smirk ran across her lips as she leaned forward a bit closer to the man. Just because she was very kind and nurturing to others didn't mean that she wouldn't tease them now and then. Besides, being playful and kind of flirtatious was needed for her job title, right? It was all in good, pure fun! " Hmm..? Is the color the only thing you like about it, Driz? There's nothing else that catches your eye about it? " The Dryad sweetened her words like honey. It was probably a little mean, but she liked playing with people's emotions. Oh, but not in a malicious or an abusive way! It was just her way of playing. Back when she was living with the other Dryads, her oldest sister, Nyx, was like the master of teasing. They were all so close that they never saw and ill intentions behind her words and actions. They all knew that she wasn't serious. Ceres just assumed that kind of playfulness still stuck with her after centuries of being exiled from the group.

She would've continued to see how Drizyrr would have responded, but stopped when she felt an arm slowly snake itself over her shoulders. With curious eyes, she looked up at the blonde male before she heard him whisper to her. She just got there and she already had someone coming up to her! Great, this is good progress! For a second, she honestly thought she wouldn't be interesting enough to come up to. Ceres straightened herself up a bit, and gave the new man a bright grin. " Mhm~ Actually I just got here, too. First timer right here! " She was definitely a naive person. She didn't have much sense to guess a person's character, but she thought that it would be rude to assume something anyways. The woman just had a very open mind, that's all. " Soo.. " She tilted her head to the side, rather playfully to the blonde. " I suppose you want entertainment, right? " Why else would he be at the bar? It seemed like the night would be a busy one since she saw a little more people pour into the front doors from her peripheral. " I'm Ceres. And you..? "

▶ Elin sighed softly with a sheepish smile as he nodded. He'd been caught. Picking up the cool glass of water, he brought the cup to his lips in time for Elin's head to start pounding. Wincing softly, Elin forced his pain sensors off and calmly gulped the liquid down. After placing the cup back down he nodded softly, I'm not one for drinking alcohol, but I thought I'd wander around the area for new... Hobbies? Elin chuckled an airy, soft chuckle as he shook his head, That may have sounded bad. Ahh, I'm just lonely I guess. The brunette scratched his cheek with a light blush. There's really no good reason to be in a bar besides getting drunk is there? He asked softly as he took another sip of his water. He couldn't really come up with the exact reason for wandering into this establishment, but his words were true. He was lonely, and besides Benjamin, Elin really didn't have many people to talk to ever sense moving here. So to answer your question, spur of the moment.

Drizyrr Zaulyl

He was about to stammer out a response when a man approached Ceres and wrapped his arm around her as if he knew her. Figuring this was some acquaintance of hers, he watched in curiosity, but soon she was asking the man for his name. He didn't much care for the look in the man's eyes, it was a look of hunger, a willingness to devour the innocent creature before him. He doubted Ceres would see anything wrong, it seemed she only sought out the good in people, even when there was very little to find. He stood up and positioned himself near Ceres, not willing to interrupt her, but his hand was resting just above the hilt of his scimitar. One wrong move from the man or one look of distress from Ceres, and there would be a fight outside, preferably with one of them not making it out alive. "I hope this individual isn't bothering you, my dear. The way he approached, I thought he might have been a friend of yours. My mistake." The real question was what would happen if she brushed him off and wanted to have more intimate relations with this newcomer? It was a disheartening thought, but if that was what she wanted, then he would acquiesce. "Maybe customs are different here, sir, but would it not be proper of you to at least buy the lady a drink before you proposition her? Seems only fair, I should think." He was probably being a brat, but he didn't like the idea of anyone taking advantage of her, and even if he had to throw little hurtles in the way, he would do it to protect her.

Lysander listened intently to the young brunette under his arm, but before he answered her, his attention turned to the guy sitting across from her, eyeing him like he was some kind of danger. Maybe in his younger years he would be...Only on occasion could he be considered a danger to others, but now-a-days he was only a danger to himself. It could be said that if he didn't find the right kind of help soon, he could be a danger to others as well but only in the way of being a toxic influence. Before he decided to answer the lady beside him, Lysander took a moment to eye the man up and down. An almost knowing smirk split his lips as he noticed the look was more of trying to protect the woman because he was into her! He had seen the look so many times before. Every time he would steal the significant other of someone else. To say he was a player would be heavily understated if one were to actually get to know him. While it had been toned down considerably since his youth, he was still infamous for it in certain circles. While eyeing the man the whole time, Lysander slid his arm down from the woman's shoulder, along the curve between her upper and lower body before finally coming to rest at her hips and giving her a firm, but not painful, squeeze. "Well, if I were a smitten little kitten like you, maybe I would," he replied calmly, the ire of the man never bothering him; only amusing him. "However, this isn't a place to pick up on women. It's a place to get our jollies and go home. Buh bye."

Turning his attention back to the young miss at his side, he gave her a gentle nudge in a different direction, no longer interested in exchanging with the whining man. "A first timer huh?" he asked, bemused. "I know another first timer at the other club Neon Lights. I'm giving her lessons on how to be a stripper, what you do here isn't much different, apart from removing clothes. Would you like to join us for lessons?" he added, genuine in his question. While it was a genuine question, of course he was being a slight perv about the idea. Two women in his home, stripping and dancing for him while he gave constructive criticism. Who wouldn't like that!? Continuing to try and guide the woman away, his glowing eyes focused on her seeming to navigate the growing crowd with ease. "Lysander," he introduced casually. "I am here for entertainment and would love yours. There are a lot of fresh faces since I managed the place, but yours stands apart from the rest." Yes, he was being a smooth talker, but talking was kind of a specialty of his. As a business man, it had to be.

Feeling the blonde's hand move from her shoulders and down to her hips didn't really alarm her too much. The only reason was because she didn't want to give off any vibes that said "I'm uncomfortable" to Drizyrr. The guy had a freakin' sword! She didn't want a whole unnecessary brawl to start off right at the beginning of her shift! Instead, she gave the Drow a hand signal to lower his hand from the hilt of his blade. At this point, she had to agree with the other man. This bar was to get loose and have fun! That was something that Drizyrr should do anyways. Ceres wanted him to have fun. She didn't want him to be completely on guard all the time. That would put too much stress on him and her, at least in her mind that's how it seemed. She gave him a reassuring smile before she pointed to the bartender. " It's okay, Driz~ It's part of my job. Besides, I didn't bring you here just to be a body guard. I want you to have fun! If you get thirsty, just tell that guy and he'll put it on my tab! My treat! " He probably would've turned down her offer, but he needed to relax, especially after that whole nightmare ordeal he had at her house. Before the man at her side pulled her away, she gave Drizyrr a little wave and mouthed "I'll be back".

Hearing Lysander's offer for lessons, the Dryad's eyes lit up with excitement. " Ohhh~ Really? I'd love to join! The more help, the better! " Honestly, the blonde didn't look like a dancer, but maybe looks were deceiving? Although, he was a guy. It was probably already natural for him to know what other men would like to see. Either way, the woman was excited. She was already a pretty good dancer...at least in her eyes when she was at home. Ceres didn't know how'd she be out here, though. She was due on stage later on tonight, so she guessed she'd have to wait and see the reactions of the audience. Her eyes glanced up at Lysander curiously when he mentioned about managing the bar. " You're the old manager? I guess that means this place brings up a lot of memories, huh? " With that being said, she gave him a bright smile. " If entertainment is what you want, do you want a private dance? If not, we can talk about whatever you want! Besides being a dancer, I'm also a good listener! " She doubted that he'd just simply want to sit and chat, but a lot of people came to the bar to drown out old memories besides having a casual drink or two. Ceres figured that she could play therapist on the side, as well.

"Night never ending
The weapons we bring are our souls
You know, You know
You know what it means to feel real
So rise up, claim the sky
We fight, We fight
Night never ending.”

Drizyrr Zaulyl

He truly hated the man now, and were it not for Ceres quick words, he probably would have launched himself upon the man and torn him limb from limb with his bare hands. It didn't matter that the man had insinuated he had feelings for Ceres, while he didn't want that known, it was more the fact that he just assumed he could take the woman and do with her as he pleased. Maybe Llolth would be receiving a sacrifice from him sooner than he thought. "As you wish," he responded to Ceres, making sure not to give the other man even the time of day, before she was unceremoniously dragged away. That said, he wasn't going to be getting a drink, he didn't have the money for it and saw no reason she should have to pay his way. That problem was soon alleviated when a hapless drunk announced he would buy everyone a round. Whether the man had the money or not, he didn't know, but he took up the offer before anything about the situation could be discovered. The drink tasted like something a duergar would covet, but he drank it anyway. At least he could detect a hint of alcohol in it. He kept an eye on Ceres, though he was constantly being complimented on his ability to get here without a cane or anything. It took a bit of puzzling before he realized people thought he was blind because of the sunglasses. He made no effort to correct them. If they thought he was blind, they would be underestimating him, which was exactly what he wanted.

Chuckling, Night listened to the man give his answer. He kind of figured as much, but getting your suspicions confirmed was always nice to him. It wasn't hard to guess what kind of customer this visitor was though, since most of his customers were in the same general classes and were easy to tell apart. You had your drunks, your party goers, your one drink a month kind of people, and then you had people who didn't even want a drink, but made the rush decision to come to a bar. More people were coming in before he could answer right away, the bartender quickly moving about the bar to get drink orders out before he returned back to the male with the water with a charming smile."Sorry about that, I wasn't able to really respond. Being lonely is bad and all, but are you sure you want to find company here in a bar? Unless you looking for a one night kind of company, not many people are interested in talking about their feelings here. I mean, I am pretty skilled at keeping a conversation, but I am afraid I am not the best company when it gets busy around here."

It was the truth after all. If you came here to drink and to fill the void you had from the lack of love, most of the time it was a sloppy one night kind of fill. Not that he had any room to talk. He and Benjamin left here one night for the exact reason...even if Benjamin passed out before they could even do anything. Speaking of which, he really needed to confront the man about that too. He had the werewolf gearing to go but left him hanging. Though it wasn't all bad. He was glad that he was able to at least get Benjamin home safely in his condition and he was technically already repaid when the man came over to Night's place to visit. Maybe he should go visit Ben for a change? He would have to think on that more. But for now, he reminded himself to focus all of his attention on the man right in front of him. He could already tell that this bar was really not his scene, so it was Night's job to keep him feeling comfortable enough to buy something. Though he didn't care about the purchase really, having some company was nice.
"My name is Night Phoenix, might I have the pleasure of knowing who my chatting company is today?"
