❛❛Sometimes you have to give up, not because you didn't try to move mountains to be with someone. You give up because they didn't try to move mountains to be with you.
They settled for their life and the people in it, even when it isn't what they really want. You weren't meant to live a lie. Hold your head high and know that you won't ever settle for that misery.
Let go.❜❜

”I beg your pardon? Broody?” he huffed, not nearly as displeased as he sounded. She was right, however. In truth, the smallest of matters were quick to set him off, though in the company of another, it was usually well-hidden behind the mask of his facade. With her however, he was quick to counter with remarks that may, or may not be more hurtful than intended. Yet she always seemed to dismiss it with a huff, and her signature cheeky grin. He'd wonder if she felt even the slightest bit unpleasant at all.

He'd take the first sip of his smoothie, the first time since the past.. two years? While he had not been fond of sweets, a tropical, fruity ice blend never seemed to turn him away as much as soda, or sweetened drinks do. Still, he appreciated the drinks coming in different sizes, knowing he wouldn’t have been able to stand the coldness of the smoothie should it have been larger. It was sweet, but not the kind of sweetness in table sugar, or any artificial labels. It was entirely natural, the sweetness of the mango balanced by the mild hint of sourness of the passion fruit. It was actually.. refreshing. Much to his surprise. Their surroundings were quiet, with little sounds he'd pick up, compared to the noises he'd hear in the background in a busy restaurant. Yet despite the silence that he could only hear, that most of the time brought about a sense of peace he appreciated, there were moments he'd wished dearly that he could hear. Be it the quietest sound of her sigh, the faintest of a breath. While being within her company had been anything but delightful, it made him feel incomplete at the same time. It felt.. lacking.

”Polar opposites?” then just perhaps he'd understand, though not exactly the same situation the woman found herself in. Camil was far too overwhelming, uptight for them, while the other, an acquaintance, be supposed, had been far too.. disgraceful for the young musician's taste. It was sometimes the same for Rigel. While his own brother held a fairly respectable reputation, he was.. a lot to take in. The energy, the liveliness, the exhaustion his personality brought about. Though Camil was sure it had been a way of his to hide what disdain he felt over the loss of his wife. ”I’m sure you still care for her to a certain extent, despite the differences, no?” with the way she briefly mentioned up her sister in the past, he could assume they did not share a.. pleasant bond. But who was he to judge? Camil was not the type to push the subject, should she ever feel a need to speak of it one day, he'll listen.

She was a very sweet young woman, that much he realized, and even more so at the words that calmed the miserable sense of loss that settled within the depths of his person. Her eyes locked onto his, noticeably softening as did his own, when the softness of her fingertips caressed his tensed cheeks. Warm not only to the surface, but into the depths of his soul. Like a soothing remedy, like a healer's touch. ”It still would have been nice to see it with my own eyes. These colours you speak of.” he raised his hand, resting against the back of her own while he pushed his cheek into her palm. Soft, like cushions. He had been excited once, when the colour correcting lenses came out, and terribly let down when he realized it was not meant for.. people like him. ”Like the colour of your eyes, how they're the colour of the ocean, sometimes the colour of the sky.” releasing her hand, he'd reach forward, lightly brushing the back of his fingertips along the bottom side of her eyelid, gently against the light coloured lashes. ”The colour of your hair, of the make up you wore,” cupping her cheek, he'd run his thumb along her cheekbone, feeling the smoothness of her unblemished skin. ”But all I see are shades of grey. Yet I am still never entirely sure if they are..” if they were even the same shades everyone else saw. He wasn’t sure what 'grey' was, despite it was all that he could see for the whole twenty seven years. But her words provided comfort to a certain extent, easing a sense of relief into his building tension, easing his restless mind. And in that moment, he would try his best not to let his eyes wander to the corners of her lips, where his own met, when the familiar curtain of intimacy fell around them. Clearing his throat, and quickly withdrawing his hand, he tore his gaze away, opting instead to settle on the beads of water trickling down the sides of his glass cup.

And she was not helping, with the way she'd so casually rest her head against his arm, as though it had been.. normal. Yet it was not exactly the most intimate they've been. He recalled, that morning he awoke in their shared hotel room, with the heavy scent of her shampoo, of the way her hair tickled his nose, and his arm that was casually draped around her body, seeking a sense of warmth within the cold night. He relaxed his shoulders, somewhat.. missing the comfort that accompanied their close distance that night, the warmth, the quiet sense of acceptance.

“When is soon?”
”In five years. Perhaps, ten.” he countered. ”Now if you'd just drop the subject and let me worry about the bills.”

”If you were looking for ‘sweet’, then you have chosen the wrong company.” To sweeten him up, she said. He laughed, a snicker that was half mocking, it seemed. Camil gave a playful roll of his eyes and shook his head. Yet he supposed it did do the trick, he had been much nicer, much sweeter to her within the months that followed, though he would not give credit to her chocolates. Her silent efforts, perhaps. He knew she had been embarrassed, with the way she quietly sunk into her seat, almost burying herself away from his sight, and he could not deny the victorious feeling, and a new found sense of achievement.

”I told you I don't eat sweets. They're sickening to the stomach.” he countered, huffing and puffing in response. And partially, it was also because he had the habit of rejecting Valentine’s and friendship chocolates without so much as a second thought. ”And they were milk chocolates, mind you. You could’ve made a better choice.” dark chocolate, perhaps. Bitter, much like he.

"There will come a prince, that will see right into my heart."

"Yes, broody!" she stated with a little nod, like she didn't intend to take her statement back even if it upset him, unless it upset him too much though, she might soften it up quite a bit. Almost like it was natural for him to counter, she waited for it, waited for him to do so but with her cheeky smirk awaiting his response.

Taking a few sips of her own, she shuddered quickly when she felt a chill sending a numbing pain straight to her head, making her tap it gently with her palm as she let the feeling sink in, exhaling deeply. She looked back at him as he sipped his own, realizing that the two had each picked a variation of mango. Not to mention their attires almost matched due to the patterns. How cliche, yet how adorable.

Coralyn thought for a moment about that little rascal who was born after her. She wasn't too different from her, maybe darker hair from having it coloured, their eyes matched though, thanks to their grandmother who lent them their genes, which was mostly how people could tell they were related. The younger one was a little taller, maybe less feminine as she was but they still were similar-just..with a mild distaste towards each other. "I wouldn't say polar opposites, but she isn't very happy with me getting special treatment sometimes." she signed, "I'm sure it has more to do than just that though, but we prefer not communicating." she said to him, passing him a light smile. She honestly did envy his relationship with his siblings since she never had that with her own, but she wasn't planning on admitting that anytime soon. She nodded to him regardless at his statement, "Of course...I do." she said.

The woman almost felt like she failed when she heard him speak of the colours again, although she could relate to how he felt. Despite him hearing her just fine with no voice, she still wished she could have a voice so she was heard better. She understood his plight. Her cheeks flushed with his sinking into her palm, almost making her want to caress him like that for eternity, if only that was doable. "What if I told you, everything was just a shade of grey? What if I told you I was making up every colour as I went?" she stated with a little tilt to her head, into his palm when he cupped her cheeks, "I'm just a shade of grey, maybe brighter because I'm so cheesy and adorable." she stated with a little chuckle, sticking her tongue out playfully until she noticed him watch her and draw his hands away.

The woman would glance up from her spot at his shoulder, a soft pout forming on her lips as she watched him. This angle wasn't unfamiliar to her, but it sure took her down a trip to memory lane, especially to that night where the only boundary between them was the towel he had on and the robe she wore to sleep. A quick flush formed on her cheeks as she looked away and took a quick sip of her drink so she wasn't thinking too much about it.

The woman rolled her eyes to his statement and stuck her tongue out to him playfully again, quickly inching away lest he chose to snap his fingers against them. "I'll still take what I have though, don't want you brooding over a cup of bitter yucky coffee somewhere." she snickered, biting her lip lightly.

"You didn't tell me that when I made them for you, you just rejected them." she stated, crossing her arms across her chest and took another sip of her drink, "I didn't know you well enough and neither did you help me with that, instead, you made me learn the harder way, so it is your fault." she added quickly to his remark.

The woman soon decided to drop their little argument, even if it was harmless and playful, setting her cup on the table before she wrapped her arms around his frame as she pressed her head into his shoulder again before drawing one arm back to his view and sign. "I'm glad you stuck around though, despite all of my bad choices. Thank you." she smiled, nuzzling into his arm a little.

”It's called being thoughtful, mind you.” he retorted, ”I like to keep my mind busy, unlike a certain young lady.” lifting his hand, he'd push her face away by the tip of his fingertips. Mocking, yet only ever playfully. A routine he found himself indulging of late.

The drink had been cold, ice blended, almost, leaving him sipping carefully, unused to the coldness of his drink, like an old fellow that only sips on hot tea and coffee, and while he could be mocked for his personality that sometimes seemed too old for his age, he would rather not risk experiencing sharp amounts of brain freeze like the young woman before him. He laughed, yet at the same time, reaching forth his hand to rest against her throbbing head in concern. ”Slow down.” he scolded half-heartedly.

Special treatment seemed to have struck a chord, and Camil would release a long, quiet sigh. He understood where the resentment came from, where the frustrations were built up. It doesn't take a genius to understand that not everyone could emphasize with people like them. ”You can't expect anyone to.. empathize with our situation,” he paused, seemingly deep in thought. ”People like us.” he elaborated. There were many that could not understand, yet there were also few who could compromise, that could empathize with their lack of.. ability to do certain things. Golden hues downcast, resting upon the petite figure leaning against him, carrying the faint scent of flowers and honey, like daisies and sunflowers. Like a fresh hint of cinnamon. ”But I hope whatever transpired between the both of you could be mended one day. She is after all, the only sister you have.” still, knowing she had moved here, alone and away from her family, he'd wonder if she'd ever feel just the slightest bit lonely, overwhelmed by a sudden wave of stress. He certainly had.

”But I'll listen to you for now, should you ever find yourself needing someone to talk to.” he turned his head away, tensing noticeably at the sort of offer he rarely finds himself giving, nor does he ever find himself in such a situation with any other person. Then again, Camil was never quite the type to make friends easily, given the many thorns he holds. ”But you already busy yourself spamming my phone with messages, I suppose it doesn’t make much of a difference.” snarky, yet it was unlike him to be kind, without adding some sort of a retort, or a snide remark.

”If that were the case you wouldn’t have known how to describe them. ‘Colour’ wouldn’t so much as exist.” be countered, shutting her down in a near instant. It wasn’t because he had not appreciated her efforts. He did, but Camil didn’t want to pretend, nor believe in false claims. The world was colourful, blind to his eyes, but he appreciated what little sight he was blessed with, appreciated the things he could still see, albeit dull and boring. ”But I'm sure they're stunning colours. And you, need to stop finding excuses over how you stick out like a sore thumb.” cheesy and adorable? He playfully rolled his eyes, a quiet chuckle escaping his own vocals. Then again, it was true, though he figured it was more.. the latter. Adorable, like a child. Yet equally sophisticated, forcing him to look at her as a proper, young woman.

”It’s nostalgic, no?” he started, popping the brief moment of silence shrouding over them like a bubble. His gaze lifted, casting his hues towards the far end of the sandy shore, where he recalled the first few weeks they've met, both admitted into the same hospital. ”You snuck me out to the beach once.” complaining all the way and bombarding him with concerns and worries of his well-being, while he insisted that it was alright, countering her with endless retorts, though he had been much more.. unpleasant back then. He withdrew his gaze, brushing past the ends of her brown tresses that curved inwards, following her braids, and eventually falling on the familiar hair pin nestled against soft locks. He lifted a hand, gently brushing the back of his index finger against the smooth edges. ”You wore this clip when we first met.” he answered, speaking more so to himself, than indulging in a conversation at this point. Maybe he could understand why she thought he was broody, after all. ”It reminded me of Lyra. Like a child. Youthful.” or in another way, childish. But now,

”Mais je pense que je vois la ressemblance. Toi et les fleurs.” But I think I see the resemblance. You and the flowers.”
Delicate. Sweet. Beautiful. He heaved a quiet breath, plagued by foreign thoughts, plagued by how differently he saw her now. The emotions, and whatnot. He'd briefly wonder if it had been the cause of her sudden confession, yet he did not dislike the things he felt, despite how troublesome he initially thought it was.

”At least it’s not diabetic.” he huffed.

But he suppose he was in the wrong, having outright rejected her without so much as casting it a single glance. He sighed, a quiet laugh finally leaving it’s mark upon his tensed features, softening his expression. ”Alright, alright.” he opted to give up, shaking his head in denial at her insistence, even though it had been the truth. Partially, at least. He leaned into his seat, tilting ever slightly in her direction when her arms snaked around his torso, intimate, yet almost normal for the both of them. When did it start? When did he stop feeling the disdain of another touching him so casually? When had he grown comfortable within the warm touches of another? He turned his head, feeling the tip of his nose brush against the crown of her head, where strands of her hair tickled the unblemished skin of his features. She smelled like roses.

”Do I have a choice? I don’t think you'd take no for an answer.” he teased, but to imagine not having her around was nearly impossible for him. He had been so used to her presence, the sudden vibration and the flash of his phone within the darkness of his room whenever her message popped up, the morning greetings, the pictures she'd send him throughout the day. Of places she’s been, of the view she’s seen. It was a routine, it was almost.. a part of him at this point.

”But I suppose I would be more.. broody than I already am if you weren’t here.” he admitted, ”Thank you.

"There will come a prince, that will see right into my heart."

"I do keep my mind busy, I can multitask!" she responded, looking up at his finger and screwed her eyes shut when he'd push her face away, pouting childishly at him as she pushed it against his finger playfully in return. It wasn't surprising, his behavior, but it was pleasant as always, how he could let down his walls around her and be his true self.

The ice cold drink was as refreshing as seeing his pleasant smile and his demeanor today, although the brain freeze not as pleasant. Although, the plus point of her little brain chilling moment was the attention she got from him even the evident concern. It made her rather happy, despite the slight pain, nodding to his scolding.

Pastel blues settled on the male as he sighed, quickly looking away. She figured he understood what the issue was here, as much as she never liked admitting it, there wasn't much to hide with her best friend. Although, bringing her sister up did bring back unpleasant memories, especially with him bringing up the fact that not everyone empathized with their situation. It might have held true with her sister, but sometimes, it felt like there was more to it than just lack of empathy, something she wouldn't readily reveal to him. "I understand that.." she would respond, exhaling deeply as well now as she looked back at him, drawing her rose lips to a faint smile. Eyes trailed down now, along his arm, almost tempted to slip her fingers back to the confines of his hold but figured this closeness with her body against his own, the smell of his cologne, the tense of his flawless skin. "I think it'll come with time." she would sign, in response. The next statement he had to make made her draw up a bright smile as she nodded to his statement. As much as he'd never admit, his concern was evident and quite adorable.

As expected, there was that snarky remark that followed, making her playfully roll her eyes. "Then maybe I should stop?" she stated with a playful grin, although it wasn't likely she was going to.

"I could be..imagining it?" she stated, her fingers fumbling a little as she couldn't quite process what she could tell him to give him a better counter. As much as she was trying to make him feel better, it seemed like it wasn't working out all that well. Although, what he said wasn't offensive in any way, it was the truth and as much as lying to him wasn't a wise thing, she did say that to try and make him feel better. "You are just too shy to admit the truth." she would respond instantly, snickering a little at his own chuckle. She wasn't going to push her luck and comment about him liking her, as much as she wanted to just to tease him.

Baby blues settled on the beach yet again, chin propped on the table as she missed even nodding to his comment as she could almost picture their little encounter. They did sneak up to his frame, studying the calm on his tan, flawless features before settling back at the view outside. He sure was quite unpleasant back then, but then she was glad she stuck around long enough to witness this morph. "You could use some fresh air, I thought." she chuckled at the thought of how it all played out. Snapping out of her nostalgia when he brushed his finger along her clip. She didn't move, almost like she thought he'd snap his hand away if she did but eyes cast over him as he spoke again, only to frown lightly when he compared her to his little sister.

Nimble fingers a few minutes shy of signing her distaste until she heard his statement about her in their native, eyes cast up to his own as her cheeks quickly lit up with all the feelings that rushed through her. She brought her hands up to her face as she failed to find the right words to sign, feeling the warmth transferring to her little palms as she thought for a little bit. She peeked through her fingers, pulling her hands away as she reached for her cup and then stopped halfway, "Je ressemble un fleur? Explique, s'il vous plait?"I resemble a flower? Explain please." she signed, drawing her cup as she took a sip of the leftover liquid.

"That's exaggerating!" she countered with her own huff.

The woman chuckled a little from his response, eyes cast up once at him before she remained in the position she held with her arms around him. Since they were taking a trip down memorylane she was thinking of how he changed considerably in this regard, he stopped freezing and waiting for her to let him go and instead took it as it came. She passed a light smile, wishing this moment could last forever but knew quite well she might have to not let herself get too carried away, considering she did confess to him just a couple of days ago.

His gentle breath fanning against her hair made her close her eyes and take a deep breath as she adjusted her hold around him, still tempted to take his hand in hers. "I don't but I am glad you stuck around..so thank you." she said, smiling brighter than before.

Ryan enjoyed the time he had with Robin and Dyl as they drank and chilled, but as time goes another sun rose on a new day.

Ryan had heard a while ago about this popular smoothie spot that supposedly sat in the waters of Lune Beach. Overhearing that the place had an amazing view and fantastic flavors Ryan had to go check this place out. He thoughts went to the idea of supernatural beings living on this island and still he somewhat couldn't belive it. His mother often read these creatures like werewolfs were guides or guardians in the stories she'd tell, but after meeting one he was somewhat underwhelmed with how normal these supposed special beings truly are. I mean, sipping beers with a neko and merman on the sandy shores of a beach sounded more like something he would with his other gansters back in the city of East Roseport; Just chill and sip while not giving a s**t.

The amnesia he is suffering from was a puzzle on its own, it allowed him to recall everthing except for the portion of him alredy being here, but now Ryan had a whole new array of questions. For example; What is the extent of supernatural beings living on the island? Are there only half beast like Skye and the guys from yesterday? Did things like magic runes actually mean something now? Did Godzilla possibly exist!? His mother always joked that his father was an angel yet it was though she really believed it with the way she regretted braking his heart.

The raven haired young man smiled as he neared a close by parking spot before parking his new car and walking out to the Smoothie Palace. The walk was actually real nice as he walked by happy couples and lively sea life. This place gave a real peaceful vibe which he liked, and it made him thirsty by seeing the ocean almost like refreshing river water with how crisp and clean it looked. With only one other customer in front of him, Ryan's honey brown eyes had time to scan through the selection and internally debate between something with mango or strabarry.

If only he could get the best of both worlds...

'Even snow has its layers.'
-Old Halteese saying

Alison Arondight

'Thanks, and have a nice day!' Alison said to the customer who left with a beaming grin on their face. They seemed to enjoy whatever small talk they had with her well enough. The next customer in line seemed to be having difficulty deciding on what they wanted.
'Ooh, you're cute,' the blonde said automatically, smiling as her eyes started down and quickly scanned their way up.
Almost immediately after that, she blinked twice and put her hand against her neck, smiling sheepishly in embarrassment. 'Ah, I'm sorry about that! I was just--! My head was elsewhere so I just kinda--' Her eyes had looked down and flitted from side to side, her hand began to play with her hair nervously. She let out a sigh and looked up at the man again. 'Uh, welcome to the Smoothie Palace. What can I do for you today?'

Cesela had been busy behind the counter and in the kitchen, getting orders ready for customers as they strolled on. With Kristine off work and not scheduled, there were only two people left to keep the place running: herself and a new girl who had started fairly recently. Using what she learned from and was told by Kristine, she waited on standby essentially in case she ever needed help. Of course, she had her own share of regulars that came in for her specifically so she was able to keep herself pretty busy. When things settled for her for the time being, she made sure to keep an eye on the new girl. She seemed to adjust pretty well to the work environment. Though when the time came to return to the kitchen to prepare stuff, she would use Cocoa to help her out. As she made her way to the back, she walked over to Cocoa, who was sitting on the countertop and leaned down a bit to whisper something so that no one could hear. "I'm going to head back to the kitchen to get some things prepared. Let me know if more customers come in or if you think she needs help." With that, she walked through the doors into the kitchen. There was a little opening in the wall that lets her see what's going on out in the eating area but she would be too focused on whatever she had to do to notice anything.

Cocoa watched as the customers flowed in and out of the place. Some came up to her and stroked her fur as they came in or as they were leaving. As a rabbit, there was nothing much for her to do anyway. She sort of became the poster pet of sorts. When Cesela instructed her to let her know what's happening, she hopped a bit on the counter. "Leave it to me! I think she'll be fine though"

Upon hearing a compliment caress his ear his eyes kindly smiled to the blonde worker as a hint of rose play on his caramel colored skin; A blush from Ryan as he coyly thanked the woman in return. "You're not half bad looking yourself, cutie." With the young latino giving a soft smile he found it easy to forgive the woman's sudden outburst. After all, Ryan was a sucker for a blonde with bright eyes. Having that out the way, Ryan felt the eyes of another upon him and once he looked through the ooening in the wall, a window by which the kitchen could be seen, Ryan noticed a rather young looking girl and her familiar in the back. It was an intresting pet, to be sure, but it only served to remind Ryan how mystical this land truly is.

While all was peaceful in the Smoothie Palace somewhere off a near by shore there were masked robbers getting ready and preparing their rented seadoos to drive off for the Smoothie Palace. And yet unsuspectingly all in the store carried on with ease; Ryan giving his order with a small yet warm smile. "Could I get a large tropical smoothie, please?"

'Even snow has its layers.'
-Old Halteese saying

Alison Arondight

Presuming Cecela had been their when the shop opened, Alison would have introduced herself and let her know that she would be the new manager at the Smoothie Palace.

'For now I'll just be observing how you run this operation normally, and I'll be familiarizing myself with the equipment.' Alison was rather deliberate with how she spoke, she didn't want to give away the awful truth; that she had never learned to cook or make anything in a kitchen. EVER. Alas the greatest thing she had ever done in a kitchen was putting away groceries, and she had certainly never taken any formal interest in her uncles' cooking methods.

However in this moment the untrained eye would still be none the wiser. She turned about-face and closed her eyes, envisioning the tropical smoothie the establishment had advertised.

She would have to make it within five minutes or less. Her eyes opened in a dilated-state.

Instantly her body began moving, seamlessly transitioning from station to station as if she had years of experience under her belt in making smoothies.
One minute and twenty seconds later, she had a complete tropical smoothie made to perfection. She blinked twice and her eyes returned to normal, she could only hope the customer wasn't too interested in how she was making the product.

'One large tropical smoothie,' Alison presented the customer, admiring the work she had done.
It looked exactly like the perfect picture advertised to customers. Upon taste, the flavors would blend in the most balanced way to give it a multi-fruity flavor, layers upon layers of fresh fruit would be tasted from a single sip. The consistency of the smoothie would add to the overall enjoyment, not watery but not a single hint of ice chunks. 'And is there anything else I can do for you?'

Cesela had spent most of her time in the kitchen, getting food and various drinks ready as customers came in at a slow and steady pace. At some point, she heard familiar voices enter the building. They were some of the regular beachgoers who typically come in to not only grab something to eat or drink but to also see and chat with Cesela. Since she didn't have any new orders coming in quite yet, she walked out of the kitchen and behind counter and approached the regulars who were sitting on the bar stools and talked to them for a bit.

Cocoa remained on the countertop as some other customers came up to her and pet her. She kept her eye on the customers as the crowds remained fairly steady. She noticed that Cesela had started conversing with some of their regulars which was pretty surprising for her. It would seem that she had gotten used to talking with them with how often they had been coming in, striking up conversations with her. It got her to open up a little bit more, if anything.

Now fully recovered from his run in with the angry ginger peasant at that damned coffee place Gage wandered around town on foot looking vacantly around. He hadn't been able to drink coffee since that day and bags were starting to form under his eyes. The smell of coffee brewing always just sent him into a rage. Noises of passing cars and happy groups of people made his temples throb adding to his irritation. The stress was not doing his beauty sleep any favors and he knew he needed to find a way to relax. The real-estate agent said the beach was one of the main highlights of the city, not that he ever tanned or god forbid got DIRTY but maybe there would be something interesting around.

He walked across the sand feeling it sink in between his toes...great....more problems to deal with. The summer heat was starting to get to him when he stumbled upon the Smoothie Palace and realized he was thirsty (and let's face it when wasn't he?) The place was on the water so at least it had that going for it even though it was crawling with commoners. He shook sand out of his shoes as he walked in, how did this stuff get EVERYWHERE?! He walked past anyone in the shop like they were ten feet below his line of sight then stopped to check out the menu with his typical resting b***h face.

Order placed and soon the cute faced woman turned away from him to begin the smoothie. Ryan was rather excited to taste the sweet concoction as seen on advertising, but what currently caught his eyes was how the cute pet who sat upon the counter top seemed to be curiously watching things. Maybe it was just being alert to its surroundings but for a reason Ryan didn't believe that to be the case. As interesting as it was, Ryan's ears perked up to hear his order was done and happily smiled at the blonde who made the Smoothie for him. "Thank you for the smoothie!"

With his softly husky voice he thanked the blonde and was about to ask for something else, as to anaswer the lady's question but he was soon shoved out the way and onto the floor. A sudden burst of masked robbers enter the shop and two rushed the front end, one to attempt to empty the till while another tried to intimidate and cover the first robber, while a third robber guarded the front entrance; How unfortunate for the newest and pink haired customer who just entered. "Nobody make a sudden move and we'll rob you a peaceful as possible! But try to be a hero and you'll get what's comin' to ya!"

Cesela was having a nice and fun conversation when all of a sudden, the several men barged in wearing masks and right away made their intentions clear. They were there to rob the place. There wasn't much reaction time as after they barged in, one of them went behind the counter to try to empty the register which was locked, the second used intimidation tactics to frighten the people that were in the lobby while the third guarded the door. She wasn't sure what to do so she stayed by the people that she was talking to, trying not to pay too much attention to them as she thought about what options she had. There were only three of them from the looks of it but her fighting skills aren't all that fantastic as she was still a novice spellcaster. She did know some offensive spells but some of them would be too risky to use in an enclosed space.

Cocoa hopped across the counter to the other side to get away from the robbers as they stormed in. She immediately went into defensive and tactician mode as she began assessing the situation. "Relax, Cesela. Don't act recklessly. Wait and see how things play out while I assess what options we have." She would look around the lobby, examining the robbers. They appeared experienced but seemed poorly equipped at first glance.
