room a
Again Stormy travelled in silence, though it was with far less a chilly mood than before. Accomplishing something without anything going awry had improved her spirits--just long enough to remember that the room they all had to wait in included Tuck. The temporary boost faltered and crumbled when she saw the Moon still simmering, and by the time Evan started asking his question, she had found her niche in the crowd opposite the other group and got cozy on the floor, cowed before two words could even be exchanged.
Naturally, Gale had been pulled along with. Their arms were wound tight as she kept him close, their fingers laced. Stay. She willed herself not to have any involuntary tremors for what little time they had.
"I don't know anything about the infection," Stormy replied, feigning ignorance. She cast Tuck's group another forlorn look, then looked at Evan. "I dragged you away without asking. Sorry. You can go back if you want."
Find out how bad is it.

Cell 15 - Room B
This was bad, too many seizures in a short period of time was dangerous, if the infection didn't mess up this patient's brain, the source of the convulsions would if they didn't stop soon! Yet somehow the man still had the energy and will to struggle against the chains.
Oliver really didn't want this to turn into a zombie survival game...

Cell 15 - Room BThe patient's convulsions didn't cease, not at first. Oliver could hear the general impatience in the voice over the speakers. But finally the infected man began to slow down. Lydia and Arorangi would have an easier time guiding him into the third room now... Oliver let go of the patient's wrists, as he no longer seemed in danger of chewing his own arm, and instead rubbed his hands together to warm them. His trembling was more from the chill than from fear now. "W-we're r-ready to g-go," he said to the other two, teeth chattering.

Nora made a face. She had one kid and that had been enough, but five? Woman was asking for trouble. And then got it. And then it got dropped off here somehow. Dear lord.
"I'd rather stay sick if that one's a doctor," Nora teased as they made their way back, each step away from the cell taking a little more of her unnerved state away. "But if you have to dream, at least dream big, eh? I don't have much in the way of specialization ideas, but s'a long way off for me anyway. Probably something with armor." She made another face. "We're lacking quality padding against these things."

Room CIan & Shiloh Shiloh raised a brow, not entirely sure that either of them were what he'd call hot, himself being covered in smatterings of blood and who knew what else, and Ian looking a little worse for the wear after tangoing with a patient that clearly wasn't interested in being subdued. He wasn't much of a help, but he forced a smile at Ian. "If we weren't busy holding this guy, I'd squeeze your hand. Rain check, 'kay? You did a good job." As it was, it looked like they were gonna have to alternate between holding onto the patient, and tethering down the chains, which left very little time for public displays of affection. 13 - AThere was so much judging.
Thankfully, Ripley took it in stride - which was to say that he didn't react to it at all. Nothing happened that was out of the ordinary (for him), and what did happen was to be expected (of him) when it came to a group (that allowed him to come along) handling a potentially dangerous patient.
Plus, it was more fun for him to not rise to Finn or Jack's bait.
Chel's though, that made him pause. Because it was out of nowhere.
"...What?"

"Well there was me. I'm a badass mother." Rep said with a smirk. "But okay I'll give you that. ******** though you got unlucky getting dragged in here straight from the portal getting back. Welcome to ******** zombieland. And sure, its just us two in this group, you can join us if you want?"
He raised a brow at Harrison, not expecting him to object. "We should probably get going though."

[ Room 25 ]
Lex nodded, chagrined at already showing what could be considered as incompetence. Of course she wouldn't get her hands dirty if given the option.
The chain came off easily with a not much fiddling, but stirred the infected patient enough to coherent words. Eat, eat, eat. Lex gave Ami a raised brow, inquiring her thoughts on the matter. He did have a granola bar in his coat..

Room B Ian & Shiloh
Ian just smiled at Shiloh, because it was much easier to laugh and joke about things than to remember that the both of them looked more than a little worse for the wear and that they were in the middle of trying to handle a partially deceased person as Shiloh had called it.
"Hang in there, babe," said Ian gently, his smile softening a little as he caught the weariness in his boyfriend's eyes. "It'll be good, we've got this."
Easier said than done, however, because as soon as Ian thought he had the chains down, they snapped free and the patient reared upwards, thrashing about once more as it tried to escape.

Room BIan & Shiloh It wasn't the patient's fault he was suffering from PDS but Shiloh was finding it harder and harder to be forgiving as it lashed up from its chains, looking both angry and ravenous and like they would make a good lunch. "Don't jinx it!" he whined at Ian, gripping tightly onto one of the chains as he tried to pull their subject back down. Countdown: 25

Room B Arorangi, Lydia & Oliver
Poor Oliver had struggled so much with getting the patient under control that by the time it had been subdued, Arorangi felt quite sorry for the pair of them. He gave the poor kid a reassuring smile, however, reaching a large hand behind him to grasp Lydia's wrist and tug her along as the three of them (and their "cargo") kept walking.
"You did very well, mate!" Arorangi said forcefully to Oliver. "Both of you! You both did well, you should be proud of yourselves. We will get through this together, okay? We are a team, and we can do this! Here, Oliver, you go over here and you hit that button, all right?"
In the meantime, Arorangi had gestured for Lydia to help him, kneeling down and fiddling with the chains.

[ Room 25 ] - Ami, Lex
"What are you waiting for?" Ami asked, irked that he was wasting time. Ami would have been irked by anything though. Everything was annoying when she felt like she was wasting her time. "There are three more chains."
She wrote something down in her book, taking notes on every aspect of the room, down to the very type of lighting.

Tuck'd been waiting for them to come back in. When they arrived, he gave the trio a terse look - quick and bristling. He said nothing, but immediately looked away. A part of him was relieved that they'd returned unscathed. Another part of him, a bigger part, was ******** livid.

[ Room 25 ] - Ami, Lex
Ah, of course. Her thoughts were general annoyance and grumpiness. Lex nodded and got back to work, humming to himself as a distraction from the frothing and the patient's convulsions and frothing at the mouth. He ignored the large snapping sound, or at least made it look like he did.
"Ami, if you could keep Junpei at the ready?" He requested, looping the second of the four chains around his arm. Hopefully she wouldn't need to use it.

Room B Ian & Shiloh
"I didn't mean to!" Ian said hastily, sincerely regretting his quick words almost immediately as the pair of them attempted to subdue the patient, which was rearing up and grumbling as it tried to drag itself free. With a monumental effort, however, Ian grabbed the chains and yanked them as hard as he could. They snapped into place with a clink, and Ian stepped back, wiping his forehead with the back of his hand and having a sigh. He moved to stand near Shiloh, offering him a weary smile.
"There we go, knew you could do it, hot stuff."
