Eripse frowned. This dude was an a*****e... She shrugged, and nodded.

"Yeah, one problem. If you want me out by tommorrow morning I'm going to need that dog within the hour."

Daniel shrugged.

"Done."

He walked towards the door and casually opened it, his expression softening.

"If it's any consolation, none of this ever should have happened in the first place. If those in West Fall had kept their hands out of this mess, you wouldn't have to go out so quickly. But seeing as that isn't the case, something has to be done as soon as possible."

Hopefully, she'd understand.

Eripse actually smiled, as his face changed and his words.

"It's your human nature to interfere in matters of power, and war. Don't worry, I understand. If I was that worried about it, I could have just pulled up a couch rather than coming to you guys, eh? I wanted work, I'm getting work." She ran her non-glowy hand through her hair quietly, sighing. "There are those of us who go to War, there are those of us who cause wars, and there are those of us who end wars. Any chance I could get a sleeping bag? Sleep in here or something?"

Daniel sighed, scratching the back of his head.

"I'm sure there are other places to sleep..."

Then he shrugged.

"...But I'll let you in here, just this once. A bag will be up for you as soon as possible. Don't get too comfy, though- you'll be in a hotel or apartment next time."

Eripse paused, moving forward and

"Do you guys have a dojo?" A soft finger scritched her nose, quietly. "With decent opponents?" To be quite honest, after the entire ordeal, after all that, she wasn't tired. She could totally go for beating the crap out of some highly trained crap-beaters.

"Purty please?"

"Training facilities are in the lower levels, second floor. You're not entirely going to have an easy time with the security teams here, though the Special Operations Division down in Durem is better by leaps and bounds, admittedly."

With that, he nodded and tilted his head to one side.

"Anything else?"

Eripse frowned, and thought for a moment, glancing quietly around the corners.

"Mmm.... Actually, yes. Cancel the dog. I've got something better in mind."

A smile extended her lips, and she paused again, carressing his arm. "And the sleeping bag too. I have a feeling I won't be sleeping before I go." Energized sigh burst past her lips as she brushed past him quickly, only pausing to hold the door for him.

Problem was, he was holding the door open for her. Sure, he was sympathetic to Eripse for a moment, but he was still waiting for her to leave. Daniel raised an eyebrow and gracefully gestured out of the open door. It was a kind way of saying GTFOMO.

"We'll take care of it as soon as possible. If there's nothing else... I have business to attend to."

Eripse has already exited the door, and was extending the courtesy from the outside. Holding it so he could let it go to vacate.

After that, she'd wander off, before eventually entering an Elevator and attempting to climb into the shaft above.... Heehee.

She would eventually, if she actually asked, find her way to the medical department. They would find her a suitable treatment for her problem, and get her what she needed. Then, Eripse would go on with her day, continually preparing for her departure,

That was, if she had the decency to ask.

Unfortunately, she did not... and decided to go elevator climbing. What she expected to find there was unknown, but she would soon find herself opposed by multiple sensors that were invisible to the unaided, untrained eye. Silent alarms would go off in the security area, and she'd be tracked on her progress along the elevator.

Wherever her final destination was planned to be, she wouldn't end up there. She'd only end up back in Daniel's office...

Eripse adopted purposeful ignorance, and poked along with the curiousity and eyes of a child poking through the tall grass, hunting buggles. Often pausing when she finds a subject, but ignores it eventually, poking along... Her arm serves as a torch, lighting the way but harming nothing...

Eventually she comes upon her choice, a dark, subtle black, eight legged wonder roughly half the size of her palm. A nice, big, juicy fellow... Cupping her hands over it securely, she would jump, landing on the elevator nimbly. And here came the storm....

Their sensors , alarms, everything, would scream nuclear attack. By the accord of the sensors, the building should be decimated, a ground zero... The entire shaft would light a blinding white with the energy, the center a dark core, quite obviously taking the shape of a humanoid... But what could be seen, was black cracks framing a humanoid shape.. To any knowledgeable in the subject, Her curse was not of the flesh, but instead, skillfully placed upon her soul, her true form. For all that they read, the sensors told them that they were dead, nothing even changed. Not even a rise in heat. In the end, a black husk of a woman picked up the clothing, freeing the bird within and holding it neatly, as she dressed with one arm.

Intrigue? Bird was lost to a beast, Beauty taken to different eyes... She was pretty, no doubt, but with oddities. Where hair had been effluent, she now had none. Where feathers had ridged in eyebrows, she now bore three eyes, perched neatly over the main. Where wings once rested, Two limbs extended with their newness, testing their touch... Even drooling slightly, of a white liquid that solidified after time, producing young, virgin thread. Skin was silky to the touch, but could, at a moment's impact, solidify. She popped her neck neatly and would go back into the shaft, still coddling the bird...

An amazing specimen, A Peregrine, But a neat one at that, smaller than the normally small bird. She would make this top priority, for she respected the creatures offering to her, It's gift. Security would be ignored, shouldered past, the bird held to ebony breasts, shirt unbuttoned, but none the less on. One hand covered it's eyes, as she crooned and cooed to the creature.

The security personell just stared. She was indeed an interesting specimen. Their firearms were lowered when they realized who exactly she was, and called off the alarms. Those alarms were silent, by the way- her position was tracked, and there were no sentry guns in the elevator shaft. Heavens, no. Those were located in the lobby, just in case someone was bold enough to actually come through the front doors with weaponry, and got past the autocannons out front.

Those needed to be replaced.

In any event, all was well again and security stood down. For the moment. They were still on high alert (seeing as the building had just undergone a siege), but Eripse was the hired help. Still, she couldn't just go up an elevator shaft like that. Daniel stood outside his office, arms folded.

As she walked past (if she walked past) he called out to her.

"I see you've found your new form. Any reason why you looked up our elevator shaft instead of outside?"

Eripse would pause, carressing the falcon's head as she studied Daniel with milky eyes, a faintly yellow hue dominating the edges of her mains, leading to an almost perfect white core.

"Is there any reason you look to the oddest people for help, Sir? I do not question you, I find it odd that you should question me borrowing a pest."

She would murmur affectionately to the creature held protectively in her arms, seeming to speak to it. After a moment, she would hold it on her fore-arm, extending it forward to Daniel.

"For two millenia I have kept this creature, at his acceptance of my request... For two thousand years, I have held this bird willingly hostage, using it to my own vendetta. Do you think I could avoid the Interrogation long enough to let it stretch its wings?" A soft smile perked her lips, predatory. Extra, spindly limbs folded neatly to her back, body actually having grooves in the structure to allow them to do so, giving her the ability to easily hide them beneath clothing.

Predatory. Right. Like he cared. There were worse things out there than Eripse.

"Sure thing."

With that, he headed back into his office. Sometimes, his job dealt with the most irritating people, be they terrorist or townsfolk. Still, she did what she needed to do and the situation had been cleared. Now all he needed to do was inform Commander White about the situation in Aekea.

Only, he was nowhere to be found, and all his calls were transferred to his secretary.

I don't know where you are, but you had better be having a more successful mission than I am down here.

Eripse would vacate, release the bird to hunt and stretch and roost in silence, and return, knocking thrice before entering Daniel's office. She would take a chair and relax, looking at her finger. It was humanoid, ending in slightly pointed fingernails. Focusing as she talked, she slowly turned herself a hue of white, adding red stripes and marks as it progressed, weaving up her arm.

"So when do I meet Mister Evan White again, hmmm? Our last meeting was quite.... Interesting."
