Your degree is the same one my daughter wants. Which college did you attend? Why is it so hard for you to find work in your degree field? Did you get a BA or BSD or BFA?

Thanks for the heads up, Trance. I might give a reference for Skipjack such as Jas looking for him at the Inn as an assumed semi-regular. Have been plotting out with Tunz as you suggested and things there are going great there. smile
Jas' first post should be ready here soon. Hopefully by the end of this weekend. I just want to make sure I get his post sync'ed time wise with the arrival of the ships, so he's in the right place at the right time.
From what I've read plot wise, ships are set to start arriving today (game time). But which part of the day? Morning, afternoon, evening? This will help get those final details in so I can finish up the post. Was hoping to get more from the character posts in the story to finish, but this way works too.

I went to a school called Macintosh College. The school no longer exists, which is part of my problem. Where I live has limited some of my job potential, but the other problem I have is "MacIntosh promised" they would let me know were job openings where so I could apply to them. However, I was one of the last classes before they closed their door, so I was informed as my "tell you where the jobs are" to just go to monster.com... I have a Associates Degree in the field, which cost me over $30,000 of debt that eats away at my limited financial means.
Depending upon where you live, it might be worth going for the degree. I don't wish to move away from family, and the area I live in doesn't have very much Graphic Design jobs open (they are there, just not "open"). (I also keep getting hit with the "You need 3-5 years in job experience"... too bad 6 years of in school experience (4 in high school, 2 in college) don't count...)

The Grogram should be arriving either "today" or "tomorrow" , I haven't laid it out because I wanted to give people a little time to feel out their characters and any relationships to other characters . . . I figure either A ☠the Grogram arrives in the evening and the Absolute Bearing appears the following morning mid-fog , arriving perhaps at night or B ☠the Grogram arrives in the morning and the Bearing arrives in the evening / twilight time-period ( as the fog is setting in ) OR C ☠something totally different , possibly involving fog . . .
Hmm , I like fog , lol . I need to collab a little with Chef ( Grogram's captain ) and Dokuro ( Sanglante Ruth's captain ) to determine the specifics , but I won't leave people in the dark c: Certainly open to suggestions as well , but I'll be sure to announce the final decision C:

For what I've written out thus far, I like option A the best. It fits with the time in the scene. However, it really wouldn't be too hard to go back and make some minor edits to make it fit with B. But for what it's worth, I vote for A.

Hey guys, Sorry for what may seem like inactivity; weekends tend to get busy for me, so I rarely get a chance with a computer. On top of that, school's about to start, so the fam and I are still scrambling with preparations. I should have some time on Tuesday (my timezone; Monday, stateside) to read through all the posts, catch up, and reply.
No worries , life comes first . Thanks for keeping us in the loop ! C:

Sorry for not quoting (I'm guessing that people try to check in here reasonably often?), but I just wanted to inform. Seen as Gerald "predicts" (giving me some measure of control over) the winds, I was going to have the Absolute Bearing arrive in the morning. (Gerald's recent course alteration made it from tomorrow night to tomorrow morning.)
If this is a problem, just post in here and I'll see it.
I always feel my posts are too short... But I is tired...

A random ooc to fill the joy of being stuck in a pitch dark subway tunnel. Yay for graveyard shift. Well lucky i have a natural defect in my eyes to take in too much light. Well it should get going any minute.
I just wanted to share this because every time I hear this song on the radio, it makes me think of Fleur. I see her as someone who holds the crew together. The captain may tell us where to go. Roy may direct the ship. But I feel it's Fleur who truly holds the crew together when things get tough. It also made me think of a radio as I was listening to it... don't ask why. I also see the reason she is with the pirates sounds like, honestly, a misunderstanding. This song talked about miscommunication (from my grasp and perspective of it).
Overall, just wanted to share it. Don't ask why this song made me think of your character, it really kinda just does... ninja
