-Frowns. She could hear the skittering. It was definitely the grunny. But it was also choosing safety over nourishment...That was bad-
This one's smar'. He's choosin' hidin' over eatin' even after not havin' food for a few days.
She pouted, crossing her arms, "Well he's going to have to eat sometime...lets just hope it isn't one of us."
She looked over to the barricaded door, teeth worrying her lower lip.
"Didn't Prince say he was coming back soon? It's been along time..."
Xashowd flew back over to Laetan. "Yeah, he did say he'd be back. Though considering that it must be a madhouse out there, I'm not surprised it's taking so long..." Xashowd looked over at Luck. He'd heard what she was doing while waiting for a response from Daenes. "Where did you hear the Grunny at? Maybe I can sneak around and blow him out from wherever he's hiding." Xashowd suggested to Lady Luck.

She quickly slips into the room before the door can be shut in her face again. She was far from calm, but she was now in control of herself, the boiling rage now a cold flame she had contained. "Trapping my legs won't keep me from killing it if I see it first.", she responds, voice showing none of her emotions as she keeps herself turned from Gypsy. She didn't want the other elf seeing her gore covered state. She ignores the idiot girl who had let the grunny in in the first place, not trusting herself to lash out at her.
She looks crestfallen at being ignored, and takes the pastry that she was holding in her outstretched hand and bites into it, the blueberry filling lacking in taste.
"Tastes like disappointment." she sighed, and placed half of it in one of the visible corners.

Xashowd looked back at Daenes, taking a moment to put the barricade back in place. "Maybe, but it'll certainly slow you down. And if that's not enough, I can compress the air molecules around your entire body, keep you from going anywhere." Xashowd informed her with slanted eyes. He'd promised to stay in Feline Form, but this woman was unpredictable. If needbe, he'd revert to his true form and show Daenes he meant business. "Doesn't take more than a second with how much I've trained to use the skill. Took months to make a self-sufficient version of the magic, but it's come in handy."
He looked back over at Luck and saw her signal. He gave a thumbs up and took a second to mold the wind around him so as to null any Wind Resistance, making it so that his flying made no sound. He flew around to where the Grunny had been heard, and sure enough he saw it. Prepare for a smackdown, Grunny! He thought to himself before sending out an Air Blast that knocked the grunny into view.
"GET HIM!!!" He shouted to his allies, one eye on the grunny and the other on Daenes.

-Seein' it was caught, she quickly flipped through her cards, findin' what looked like a journal on the face of one-
-She sent the journal out and almost immediately it turned into a bird cage, complete with an egg inside- Git outta there -Takes the egg out and sets it aside-
Always forgettin' about that journal. 'ere, stick 'em in this.

"To put it plainly, research." She replied with a smile, folding the hat so it was like a sack as she carried it over to Lady. After opening the cage, she carefully opened the hat and tipped Leppy into the birdcage.
"If we can study it, we might be able to find a cure"
She makes no move towards the grunny, simply watching with cold hatred for the thing. "Why do you even want the ******** thing alive?"
Xashowd flew back over, cheering at Laetan for catching it. He then heard Daenes question, and turned to her. "My Reason? Because it's her pet." Xashowd said, pointing his thumb at Laetan...well, what passed for a thumb in Feline Form. "It'd be rude to kill her pet, and I'd rather not see such an adorable face shed tears. Now I have to ask you...aside from the obvious reason of the majority of grunnies being mutated killing machines, why do you want it dead?"

Frightened and nervous about the lack of lights, the mermaid scurried around, looking for a safe place to hide. Coming across a door she couldn't open, she knocked on it nervously.
"H-h-hello?" She stammers. "I-i-is a-anyone i-in there?"
