-- well. Success. Should he have felt more triumphant? Instead, Al-Janah was kind of disappointed to find it over, had been enjoying losing himself in the mess of battle, not worrying about anything but that dark-haired b***h --

And now he stopped and looked around, amber eyes hunting for Leto in the crowd. With a puff of a sigh, and limping just a little bit, he approached her.

"Pizza?" If she agreed, they could just slip away, before anyone else complained, to get a slice.

Falias found the Amethyst not far from where he'd seen him last, the Nega-Lieutenant sprawled on the ground unmoving and for a moment he wondered if that last attack that the Shade Queen had launched on them all had done the blond in.

He had barely managed to process that the blond Lieutenant was unconscious rather than dead when a cry had him turning wearily in the direction of the Shade Queen, his shoulders tensed against the thing's next move, although even as he did so he acknowledged that unless she pulled another teddy bear move that he was pretty much tapped out.

But instead he turned in time to see Shade Queen was fading out, the thing still managing to rant to the last.

His shoulders slumped as he realised that it was finally over, really finally over. Exhaustion setting in as every single one of his bruises and knocks started clamouring their hurt. He was still standing though, would somehow drag himself home.

He remembered Amethyst, bending down over the Lieutenant to give the other a shake. "Hey wake up" he said, pain and tiredness turned his voice slightly rougher than he'd intended, his hand reaching out to shake the other again as he added. "It's over - that big Shade thing is gone."

Maybe he should have just left the other, the battle was after all and that thing wasn't coming back - well at least he hoped that that thing wasn't coming back - but two things prevented him. The first was the fact that the other had stepped in to help him when he hadn't had to and the second was the fact that for a Nega Amethyst had come across as actually normal. Strangely normal given his experiences with those from the Dark Kingdom to date.

For a long time, Amethyst simply laid on the ground where he had fallen, motionless save for the rise and fall of his chest that indicated that he was still alive and not dead as Falias might have possibly feared. He began to rouse when the Page shook and called out to him, a grimace crossing his face the moment his body began to register the aches and pain from the various injuries he had sustained during the battle itself.

His eyes slid open, a soft sound that hinted at the amount of discomfort he currently was in coming from him as he offered the other a wistful smile, not at all trusting himself to have the strength and ability to stay upright even if he did try hence his decision to remain on the ground for now. "We... made it..? What happened to the Shade Queen..?"

Indeed it was as Falias had said, the Shade Queen was gone as was her aura and Amethyst allowed himself to rest easy knowing that she wasn't likely coming back along with her amassed army of clones. "That's good then. Good to see that you made it through too." He lifted his gaze to the night sky, confirming with his own eyes that the moon was back to normal and no longer stuck in the week long unnatural eclipse, heaving a sigh of relief that this all was indeed over as he returned his gaze to the Earth Page and politely declined his offer with a smile.

"I think I'll be good to go in a bit. You're not looking too hot your end so you should probably get going too. See if you could find someone to patch you up." If there was anything that Amethyst could take away from this, it would be that all of them - Senshis, Knights and Negaverse - could put aside their differences and work together towards a common goal when something on such a scale threatened all that they held dear.

It was probably wishful thinking on his own part but he certainly hoped that they wouldn't be at each other's throats should his path cross Falias' on another occasion in the future. For now though, as far as he was concerned, the truce was still on and he would honour it so long as the other didn't start showing any signs of aggression towards him.

"You too." Amethyst had a smile on his face when he saw Falias turn back to wish him well. It was weird having someone whom he was supposed to fight genuinely wish him so and that certainly gave him quite a bit to think about.

He waved the Page off, looking around to ensure that the coast was clear before he carefully got up and started hobbling slowly towards the cover the off beaten path could afford him to power down, all too happy to put the entire week's events behind him though he wasn't really looking forward to dragging himself to work tomorrow given the injuries he had sustained from the battle itself.
