Abigail confusedly followed, realizing now that they were not in the base anymore. What the heck is going on? She stayed close to the people she knew (Allen, Cody, and Maddy) for fear that she might get separated from the group. Squirtle, however, ran excitedly ahead of everyone near the front of the group, obviously eager to battle some pokemon. "Squirtle, come back! Geeze..." Abigail quickened her pace to catch up to her pokemon.

Maddy turned to Noah.
"Well, if we're breaking in, I guess everything is fair game." She said to him with a shrug.

Dark follows the group with his hands in his pockets. He didn't really care for any Pokemon found in the Hoenn Safari Zone so he was going to keep watch and maybe just battle for some experience.

The group comes to a path that splits into three. All three paths seem to go over a large hill. On the other end of a hill is a cliff that can be slid down.
"Okay, here's the plan. The path on the left leads to a raised area with a few bushes. The center path leads to a dried up plain area. Finally the one on the right leads to a forested area."
He then pulls out what looks like a smartphone. Suddenly everyone's TADS beeps.
"I've sent you a map and the locations of Pokemon in the area. Now go on and catch what you want."
Archie then laughs and walks off.

Extra RP info:

Easy Mode: Fight 2-3 Pokemon and catch one if you wish, assuming it is allowable at your rank.

Hard Mode: Fight exactly 6 Pokemon and catch two if you wish. You cannot fight doubles, all 6 must be different Pokemon. Only catch what is allowed at your rank.

Dark heads down the center path. He slides down the cliff and looks around the area. For a good distance all he can see is rock and sand. He walks through that area and makes his way into the grass. After searching for a few minutes he spots a Heracross.
"Come on out Scarlet!" He shouts and throws a Pokeball. The ball opens with a flash of light and a shiny Magikarp splashes around.
"Okay, return! Diddy, time to fight!" He then recalls the fish while Heracross preps an attack. His second thrown Pokeball pops open and lets out a Chimchar. Chimchar is then struck hard by the bug Pokemon's horn.
"Horn attack huh? Well I've already got you beat. Diddy, Aerial Ace!"
The fire monkey chirps and uses a fast aerial attack. It hits the bug hard and it goes down.
"Hmph." Dark scoffs and recalls his Pokemon.

He searches the grass for another Pokemon and soon finds a Xatu.
"Oh wow... Come on out Brick!" Dark sends out a Larvitar.
"Brick, hit it with Stone Edge!" The trainer orders.
The Xatu uses Confuse Ray but Larvitar manages to hit it. Xatu hangs on with small amount of health.
"Now Brick, Crunch!"
The Xatu squawks and trips up the small green Pokemon in a knot of grass. Larvitar quickly faints.
"No way.. Grass Knot?" Dark is slightly surprised as he recalls Brick. "Well I still have the advantage. Go Polt!"
Dark sends Rotom into battle.
"Polt, Thunderbolt!"
Rotom strikes first and KO's the psychic bird Pokemon.
"Good job team." Dark cheers. He recalls Rotom and looks around.
"Hmmm... I got a bad feeling all of a sudden."

Maddy headed down the left path to the raised area. She started into the grass right away. It was nice to have free reign of the Safari Zone. After a few minutes, a Houndour leapt out of the bushes at her.
"Perfect!"
She threw out a Pokeball, unleashing Froakie. Froakie was the faster Pokemon and moved first.
"Froakie, Water Pulse!"
The little frog let loose a pulsating wave of water, hitting the Houndour dead on. Houndour took a great deal of damage and was left confused. Houndor yelped in dismay and hurt itself in confusion. It was left with hardly any health remaining.
"Might as well make a capture of it..."
Maddy tossed a Pokeball at the dog Pokemon and watched as it was encased in the ball.
Shake...
Shake...
Shake...
... Ding! Houndour was caught!
Maddy retrieved the Pokeball off the ground and attached it to your belt.
"Come on, Froakie. Let's continue."
She decided to make her way out of this area and see what else could be found. She was almost at the border between this area and the next when a Teddiursa jumped out to bar to her path. The Pokeman startled the trainer and her companion, landing a Seed Bomb attack and dealing a lot of damage to Froakie.
"Shake it off, Froakie. Go in for a Rock Smash!"
The blow did a decent amount of damage and made Teddiursa more vulnerable to physical attacks. The little bear Pokemon retaliated with a Slash attack, leaping forward and swiping hard at Froakie. Froakie barely clung to consciousness.
"Finish it and I'll let you rest, buddy. Another Rock Smash!"
Thanks to it's weakened defense, Teddiursa was finished by the next attack. Maddy recalled her exhausted Froakie and continued onward.

Maddy arrived at the next area and was welcome by a Natu. She sent out Axew to fight it, but Natu was quick and struck first. It focused it's willpower and slammed into Axew with it's skull, using Zen Headbutt. Axew was a tough little guy and shook off the blow.
"Counter!"
Axew attacked with double the damage of Natu's last attack, devastating the little bird. It flapped it's wings furiously, sending a cloud of feathers onto Axew and lowering his attack.
"No problem, it doesn't have much left. Axew, use Dragon Rage!"
Axew summoned forth the anger inside and struck Natu hard, knocking it out cold.
Maddy sighed with relief. The Pokemon here sure were feisty. But before she knew it, another was upon her. An Oddish stumbled out of the grass. The last battle must have awoke it from it's slumber, because it looked quite grumpy.
"Incinerate!" Maddy commanded.
Axew let loose a small torrent of fire, hitting Oddish quite hard. Oddish planted roots in the ground, healing a bit of HP. Clearly this Pokemon wasn't very skilled with battle.
"Outrage!"
Axew went on a rampage, dealing massive damage to the Oddish and KO'ing it. As the battle finished, Axew calmed from it's thrashing about.
"Come on, you silly thing. We have stuff to do."
They continued onward together.

They arrived at the area just outside where people would normally enter the park. Maddy spotted a Dodue lazily walking around and pecking at the ground.
"Let's surprise it, Axew." Maddy told her companion in a hushed tone. "Sneak up behind it and use Iron Tail!"
Axew rushed forward towards the unaware bird Pokemon, as silent as a shadow. He leapt up behind the bird, his little tail shining with a metallic sheen, and struck the Dodue square in the face with the appendage as the bird turned in surprise. The blow was a critical hit and the Doduo fell over, unable to get back up.
Maddy paused for a moment.
"Oh... Uhhh... Okay then."
Axew crawled back over to her, looking exhausted.
"I'll give you a chance to rest." She returned Axew and sent out Gible in his place. Gible hopped in place happily, excited to be out on another adventure.
"Calm down, little one."
Suddenly, a wild Pikachu leapt from the bushes. It's little fist sparked with electricity as it struck Gible. Gible stared at the lightning mouse, completely unphased.
"Earthquake!"
Gible struck the ground with ferocity, causing it to shake and deal massive damage to the Pikachu. Pikachu made copies of itself, hoping to avoid the next attack.
"A useless attempt. You're mine!"
Maddy threw a Pokeball at the mouse Pokemon, entrapping it.
Shake...
Shake...
Shake...
... Ding! Pikachu was caught!
Maddy smirked and pocketed her new Pokemon. She allowed Gible to climb onto her shoulder and went off to find the others.

Hunter decided to take the path to the right, heading into the forrested area. After just a few minutes he was under the cover of trees, with some moonlight breaking through for some visibility. At the foot of a large tree Hunter spotted a sleeping Sunkern. "Ok, I think Bagon can handle this," he whispered to himself. With that said, he released Bagon from his Pokeball.

The sudden move startled Sunkern. Without the sun, it appeared to be frail and weak. This fight wouldn't last long. "Ok," said Hunter, "hit it with an Ember." Bagon nodded, turned toward the Sunkern, and released a small flare from his mouth. Unable to defend itself, the Sunkern fainted instantly.

"Hooot. Hooot."

Hunter looked up. On a branch not far above stood an angry Hoothoot. It seemed that Hunter had intruded on it's territory. Before Hunter could react it swooped down and nailed Bagon with Peck. "Bagon, counter with Dragon Claw!" Bagon charged at Hoothoot with his glowing claws raised. After taking a couple swiped at the owl Pokemon, Hoothoot fell to the ground, KOed.

As he continued through the forest, Hunter began to have the feeling that there were eyes on him, and almost immediately the howling began. As he turned around, he could see numerous pairs of glowing eyes. A pack of Houndour had heard his battles earlier. Hunter turned and ran for his life.

After several minutes he came to a moonlit clearing, stopped, and turned around. Hunter wouldn't be able to outrun them for long, so this was where he would make his stand. Once again he called out Bagon to his side.

One of the Houndour emerged from the darkness and attacked Bagon with Bite. Bagon growled in rage, but didn't give in. "Ok Bagon, Dragon Breath!" Bagon emitted a red haze from his mouth. Houndour staggered, but recovered enough to repeat its previous attack. This time, however, Bagon fainted.

Returning Bagon, Hunter chose Larvitar in his place, but he figured that after the first attack, Houndour would be weak enough to capture. Pulling a Pokeball from his bag, Hunter threw it at the Houndour. It was bathed in red light and sucked into the Pokeball.

Shake, shake, shake... Ding!

Houndour was caught. As he walked over to pick up the Pokeball, Hunter scanned the forest again. The eyes faded into darkness and he knew he was safe again. With that, Hunter left the forest to meet up with the others again.
