Skylar's voice was quickly lost in the fray, and it was apparent that Singing the birds to sleep wasn't going to work. A pidgey dove straight at the swablu and pecked him. Skylar let out a loud screech, "" The tiny bird squawked. Sienna swatted at the wild pidgey with a gloved hand, "Shoo! Leave him alone!"
"!" Skylar screeched again, even louder, allowing the powerful echo to advance on his enemy. "Echoed Voice, good job Skylar!" Sienna praised the swablu, it wasn't like him to act in a battle without directions. Hopefully this attack would work better than the last!
Just as Valarie grabbed a slice of pizza, the announcement completely caught her off guard. She dropped it on the floor and stared blankly at it. Just when she was going to pick it up again, her hoothoot started pulling her by the scarf.
"What!" she whined, "Can't I just-- oh." The watcher watched the pidgey fly by, "Okay, okay, we'll leave..." She started to move foreward, then she suddenly ran back to grab a whole bunch of pizza slices and started to stuff it in her bag as she and Fois escaped outside.
Once reaching the deck and pidgey flew right into Valarie. Fois was furious-- only he could do that!
The wild pidgey ignored Skylar's cries and continued pecking him and scratching with it's talons. "Try an Ice Beam!" Sienna called out as she continued swatting at the birds with her arms. She didn't want to hurt any of them, but they wouldn't stop hurting her! On her head, Skylar concentrated energy inside his beak, the air around him grew frosty, and he unleashed a beam of frigid ice at the other bird.
"Ow..." Valarie rubbed her head, "These pidgeys can really pack a punch." Her eyebrows furrowed and she pulled out one of the rods that supported her tent. Of course she wasn't going to smack a pidgey with it-- it was only to block them.
Fois flapped his wings angrily and narrowed his eyes. He locked his eyes on one of the incoming pidgeys and started to fly right towards it recklessly.
A complete miss. These pidgey were fast! Plus, Skylar's aim still hadn't improved much. The one they had been continuously fighting scratched at Skylar with his talons once more. Another barrage from in front of Sienna left her with a nasty scratch on her cheek. "Ouch!" She exclaimed as she continued swatting. "Try Ice Beam again!" It was clear the swablu didn't want to try any attacks that required him to relinquish his grip on his trainer's head. The fluffy bird attempted to fire another icy beam.

In the midst of the chaotic battle, Sienna noticed a hoothoot, and her new friend Valarie! "Hey! Glad you guys are okay. See you on one of the balloons?" Sienna spoke quickly as she continued to defend herself against pidgey.
The pidgey dodged and Fois flew right into the deck. He slid across the floor and was slightly dazed.
"Why did you use take-down?" Valarie asked, a bit shocked at the move choice, "Try... Try echoed voice instead!"

When Valarie head someone call out a hey, she looked in the direction where she heard the familiar voice and waved, 'Hey! And sure, if we can get these pidgeys to leave us alone."
Sienna smiled at the other trainer, hopefully they could get these pidgey to leave them alone. Still no luck with the ice beam, the pidgey only had the faintest traces of frost on it's shoulder, nothing to deter it from attacking. "You can do it Skylar, just concentrate!" Sienna encouraged the swablu. He was getting frustrated by his lack of results, but tried again for the sake of his trainer. How could do such a bad job protect her?

Still nothing, just chilly air. "I'm afraid you're going to have to get off my head if you want these pidgey to leave us alone," Sienna said to the swablu, still firmly gripping her head with his talons. It was starting to hurt quite a bit, too. Skylar hunkered down, fluffy out his feathers, and took aim once again at a pidgey. If this didn't work, then maybe he would get up an fly around...
Finally! Skylar peeped in delight, he had finally got the pidgey to go away! But where there was one pidgey flying away, two more took it's place. "Please Skylar, I'll be fine, you need to fly around!" Sienna was also being attacked by two pidgey now, each alternating between pecking at her face and arms. He could do it, he could fly around...He loosed his grip on Sienna's head and flapped his wings into flight, striking at one of the pidgey in the air, and fluffing his feathers out as much as he could in an attempt to look bigger.

The pidgey quickly dodged Skylar's advances, and wasn't buying his 'I'm bigger than you' display. While the swablu was attempting to attack one pidgey, the other attacked him with a swift peck to the side. That hurt! But he had to protect Sienna, so he continued attacking the pidgey.

As another Pidgey flew at her, Fifi yanked out Alastyn's pokeball. "Al, Pidgey!" she called. A quick flamethrower from the Ponyta allowed Fifi to finally make some progress towards the balloons.
"Fois, Fois, Fois!" Valarie flailed a bit, "They are going to steal out food if you do keep doing this!"
That seemed to got Fois' attention. He was thinking about just leaving it all up to Valarie so he can take a nap. However, the food; the precious food. The hoothoot flew off of Valarie's head and started to call out loudly, each call becoming louder and louder.
