Quietly on top of the waterfall, Max lied under a tree resting. There was something strange about him though before, his clothes were different, but his soul has completely changed as he stayed undetected. Why are they making so much noise? He thought to himself as he continued to listen to the conversation.

Texas ran to the side, dodging the blast that Vincent shot at him. Vincent was quicker than he had remembered. Well, he was a lot different than he had remembered. He seemed to have turned into some kind of madness-crazed monster. "I don't think he's your brother anymore MIrai!" Texas said in alarm as he saw Vincent launch another attack. He looked over at Mirai, expecting her to be a bit further away but somehow she was right next to him? Was this the time-altering power she had told him about? There was no time to ask since it was clear Vincent was on the warpath. Texas flashed a bright orange and appeared in Mirai's hand the handle of the flame sword. The lighter on the end quickly ignited in a burst of sparks and the flame blade itself roared forth, completing the transformation. "I'm guessing we're going to try and avoid fatal injuries...for the time being?" Texas asked as he looked up at her through the handle of the Weapon.

Hearing Mirai deny his accusations, Vincent would let out a powerful roar, "Liar!!!" Just as he did, Mirai would swing her sword, releasing a wave of flames at him, with Texas increasing the flames, making it even stronger. "You were the cause of it all!" Vincent shouted again before swinging his own sword, releasing a black wave of energy at the flames. The two attacks would collide and merge into a flaming vortex of black energy and fire. "Brother....brother died because of you." he added before swinging his sword a second time and releasing a second wave of energy. This time, the energy would collide with the vortex from earlier, causing it to erupt into an inferno of flames, madness, and darkness, all of which, he sent shooting towards Texas and Mirai.

As Mirai created the barrier to block the mixture of attacks, Vincent increased his soul wavelength and darted towards the barrier. Upon reaching it, he would release blast after blast of telekinetic energy at it. The power and force of the blasts would increase with each hit, making the barrier more and more unstable, hopefully with the enough blasts the barrier would be broken. "His sickness only worsened after those Machinists bastards took us prisoner and tortured us, all because of you and that traitor you're holding right now." It seems that Vincent's mind was coming back the more he and Mirai spoke, but his soul wavelength became more unstable as well.

Vincent watched as Mirai created yet another barrier to block his attacks, "Enough of your lies!" he shouted as Mirai began to walk towards him. Seeing this, Vincent began to step backwards, holding his head, still fighting back the madness. "When your family truly needed you, you weren't there. Brother died and you weren't there. You....didn't even come to visit mother." he added before stopping and looking over her. "Mother, was in pain. I was in pain, but you, you were nowhere to be found. You abandoned us and for that traitor." It seemed like Vincent was placing a lot of his hatred on Texas, rather than Mirai. "You both should have died in his place."
