Otto thought this whole thing was going fairly flawlessly, zombies aside. So when the telltale kaboom was heard from above, he knew trouble was coming. And apparently said trouble was going to drop right on his head.

Debris fell, and Otto tried not to get crushed by cheep flooring and falling bodies. The gross factor just went up by 50!

"GROSS! GET OFF!" He kicked at some severed body parts, curling his lip in disgust.

FLOOR 6

Distracted by the very loud crack from above, Kat stepped back to avoid the worst of the damage. "What the hell?" Dusting herself off, she spotted other hunters amongst the rubble, as well as plenty of the undead. Oh God, the smell of undead is never missed. Pressing the back of her hand to her nose in attempt to block out the worst of the smell, she then looked to the others with her. "Everyone okay? Irwin?" Though, with the room now filled with zombies, she sure hoped that would be enough motivation for everyone to get their asses out of here.

[ ALL FLOORS ]

The walls shook one more time terribly, tables, desks, papers and tiles cracking and falling apart -

- As the sixth floor finally gave away as well and everyone went tumbling down-

- Far, far down-

- Right into the lobby of the first floor. There were a slew of zombies that had just arrived from the basement, ready to harass the three Sun Hunters who had made it early, once again proving that the early bird does not get the worm -

- When in a moment of Deus Ex Machina, the ceiling caved in, debris, desks, tables, and papers falling downwards, landing right on the slew of undead, who oddly, ended up cushioning the fall from five stories.

Silence, as the dust cleared, a little bit. Everything within fall radius was stained a deep red, including those who had well, fallen. A few straggling undead had accidentally taken the dive too, but a little too lately, almost comically, like lemmings, plunging to their demise six floors down without any buffering.

A few things happened at this exact point in time.

First, it revealed to the new arrivals that they had arrived at the lobby, the exact point where they were supposed to meet Mark for a portal. This was great and all, if he was actually responding to the headsets.

Second, there was no armoured guy standing in the lobby, unfortunately.

Third, other than Allen who was still reading a comic and playing on his iphone at the same time sitting on the security desk, and a couple of lingering Sun Hunters, the lobby was rather empty.

Fourth, and probably the most prevalent, was the ground shook again-

- As two pairs of long, claw-like shapes protruded from the ground, right in front of Allen (who didn't seem to notice)-

- And a terrible screech shook the entire lobby.

The strange quite undead creature took a second to shovel a couple of lingering undead into its mouth before scuttling around, turning to face the majority of Hunters. It eerily had two sets of eyes and mouths, one on each side of its "body", singular claws at all angles ready to impale pretty much everything and slam it into its incisor-sharp mouth that was easily ten feet across. The entire creature was rather impressive, because in the Sahara, creatures were never not impressive.

And lastly a guy holding a bag of bagels that oddly looked like the not-Death lead looked right at the creature and them calmly resumed walking across it towards Allen, mindful of the tray of drinks and obviously, the bagels.

OOC: THE FINAL BOSS

WELCOME TO THE FINAL BOSS ZONE: HP ???/ ??? HP

- ALL HUNTERS ARE NOW IN THE LOBBY FACING THE BOSS. If you manage to defeat the boss, maybe finally, Mark will finally get a stupid portal up and you can go home
- ALL HUNTERS HP CARRY OVER, but there is a first aid kit nearby, and you are allowed to grab stuff from it. This will heal you back to full health, but you can only use it ONCE per Huner.

- THE BOSS DOES -5 AUTO DAMAGE A TURN. Runic weapons, artifacts, charge attacks, etc etc all apply. You need to do at least 100 damage to injure it, 200+ to kill it. Attacks are unlimited. HOWEVER:

- Every turn you attack, before you do, roll 1d6. This determines the effect of what happens. Keep track in your OOC of your TOTAL DAMAGE DONE

- TO RECAP: Roll 1d6, check the effect below. Next, roll to attack boss (if applicable). Repeat as needed until your char is out of HP!

- Rolling a 1: Not-quite Caelius is still walking without much regard with a tray of tea, coffee, and some bagels. He seems pretty oblivious to the destruction going around him as he tries to find a safe place to sit down and take his second break. This causes you to MISS your attack, as you end up almost swinging at him. (Take auto -5 damage from the boss that conveniently misses him but hits you)

- Rolling a 2: Not-quite H is still trying to find his zen spot as he has assumed his lotus position right in the middle of the boss fight in a pool of blood. You have to protect him by taking his auto damage, which is another -5. Which means you take -10 damage this turn (but may still roll to attack)

- Rolling a 3: Not-quite Allan sees that you're in trouble and has opted to help! He grabs a handgun and starts shooting randomly. This only succeeds in making the boss madder. Your next attack only does half damage to the boss.

- Rolling a 4: Not-quite Aria takes out her fire extinguisher, determined to help! She charges.... and obscures everything in front of you. Your accuracy decreases, meaning your damage modifier is now -8 instead of -6

- Rolling a 5: Not-quite Edith is also trying to do what she does, which is be a security officer and has joined the line of fire! She is very squishy and prone to damage, which means you should defend her. You take half the damage you do next round on yourself, in your attempt not to hit her as well in battle.

- Rolling a 6: Whew! You got out of there lucky! You manage to make a hit and it is a critical hit, doing double damage!

And then the world came crashing down... Jerry held his breath as he wobbled, wide-eyed, as the ceiling caved in, sending furnature and dry wall and other undead not to mention their backup all around him, and somehow managed amongst this all to stay on his feet.

In pure badass fashion, he gave a strangled squeak in alarm as the creature reared it's ugly claws.

[Rep used the first aid kit.]

He had only just managed to regain what damage he'd sustained from being hit by a ******** grenade when the ceiling overhead collapsed and the room went from being quiet except for the steady stream of zombies and crumbling plaster to being absolutely riddled with people and civilians alike.

Deep breaths. Trembling as the others groaned and gathered their whits, he flew on instinct, leveling his aim at one of the monster's legs with a sharp blast-

-not sharp enough. A flick of another clawed leg and he was sent tumbling backward with a yelp.

Hefting up Tracey, the gun was sadly forgotten in the rubble as the monster in the room became the sole focus of his attacks. At least there was no more ceiling left to hit and - for the time being, the leaders-gone-civilians were out of his way.

He leapt up and struck as hard as he could manage, Tracey singing his delights in his thoughts.

Not another rumble.

Otto grunted as he fell another few flights of stairs. It was a miracle he wasn't hurt, Fear shield or not. It was a terrifying feeling to fall so far, and fear what would fall on him afterward. However, his luck held out.

He gave a weary look around the lobby to get the gist of what was going on. Caelius was there, Allen....

And a monster.

Tenya was summoned readily.

Candace was getting sick of falling through this building, and by the time they reached the bottom she found it a miracle she wasn't knocked unconscious. She did try to check on Aria and Edith until everything went to hell again. As always.

Atropos was once again summoned, but before she could make any moves Aria seemed well enough to get in her way. Once again it made Candace unsure of if this really was her leader when suddenly everything was clouded in extinguisher foam.

(( Damage from falling to floor 6 ))

If the first two ceilings caving in on top of them was a shock for Ryan, the floor crumbling beneath him was even more of a shock. Fortunately for him even though he fell with the rest, he managed to land without hurting himself too badly, or without debris dropping down on top of him.

It was just too bad that that floor gave away as well.

And for the first time in a long time, things seemed to stay decent for him. He just needed to keep up his focus and keep way from people he could clip with the axe.

Use it.>

Otto weaved through fumbling Division Leads attempting to help and hurled Tenya with all his might at the creepy crawly on Zombie Steroids. As his weapon was airborne, he took a hit from one of the creature's leg's. The teen skidded sideways to avoid as much damage as possible, then running out of range to go and catch his returning boomerang.

Gale was still around somewhere, but had lost track of both the conversation and the rest of whoever he was with.

He did, however, manage to shout several obscenities in All(a)n's direction.

Rep saw no reason not to use his fear and let the fallen angel finally carry him onwards and upwards as the fear ran wild in his veins. It had been a while - too long - since he'd last gotten to use his charge, and the unfamiliarity only made it all the more intimidating as he ran forward, leapt and brought the axe overhead, the dagger around his neck glowing vividly as he drew upon its power at the same time. Even as he left the ground below him, feeling as if he could fly for those few fleeting moments, the twisting black of the artifact's effect slithered around Tracey like a nightmarish disease.

His anxiety held at bay the usual syncing between them both, and when he brought down the axe, it was with hesitation and doubt he did not usually display. It did the job regardless.

As he hit the ground, he remembered, with a pain in his knees, that Harrison wasn't here to catch him.
