Evelyn looked down guiltily. She felt in the wrong to even be moderately happy with her relationship at the moment. After this had just happened.. she'd forgotten to think about it. "Shortstraw..." She started. "Thank you. I know you don't like the situation between me and Colin, but you've chosen to accept it anyway." She nodded. "I really appreciate it." She shut and rubbed her eyes again. She then looked to him. "I know you won't want to hear another sob story about how my heart got broken once but," She went to sit by him. "This won't be the first time you feel like this. It will only get harder and harder from here. You already knew this before. But only now has the reality of it hit you." She looked away. "But there's even more strength in knowing you have plenty of things to live for. Things that Kiera left behind. Your kids, the kingdom, your family, even me if you'd count it." She let out a small smile. "It may be over for her for the moment. But that doesn't mean it has to be over for you too."

*Shortstraw nodded and a small smiled appeared as he tryed to man up agian, "the wisest thing i think you ever said to me." He hugged her again. "at least you where here for me. Without you i would be in alot worse shape by now..." He had to admitt it. "And your right. And if this... is how you felt all this time... i'm so sorry i didn't understand."

Evelyn smiled more. "People understand me so poorly that they don't even understand my complaint about them not understanding me. I won't judge a learner. You come to tolerate the people who don't understand because they can't possibly know what you're feeling." She nodded and looked back to him. "I'm plenty wise. You people just never give me a chance to dish out my wisdom." Her smiled faded a little. "I'm sorry I wasn't here sooner. I wish I could have realised earlier in the day."

*Shorstraw nodded, "yea everyone should bow to that wisdom, i learned my lession." He joked without a single chukkle. "Donte is now leading the country since veria cant touch it and eve dissapered as did hana. And i have conffused kids unsure they will ever see there mother again." He looked to her, "any more wisdom you might have to share before i mess up futher?" He ignored her comment on being there sooner. He knew, she couldn't always be there.

Evelyn smiled as she put her arm around him and gave him a little hug. "Permanence, perseverance and persistence in spite of all obstacles, discouragements, and impossibilities. It is this, that in all things distinguishes the strong soul from the weak. That is a sort of code that I've found this family lives by." She poked his cheek. "So stick by it." She smiled again before she stood up and walked to the other side of the room. "Beauty is unbearable, drives us to despair, offering us for a minute the glimpse of an eternity that we should like to stretch out over the whole of time." She glanced back at him before opening the door.

*Shortstraw looked to her with a nod, "thanks. I'll do my best." He forced a smile untill she would leave as he looked back down to the ring on his finger. He stood up and walked over to the window and looked out just like she used too do. He took a deep breath, "it's time for me to get back to work i guess. So the kids dont have to work as much tommorow." He mumbled to himself. He then reached into his coat, which he noticed he nevver took off since this morning and pulled out a pre-rapped gift. He stared at it and walked back to his and kerias room where he put some of her things in a pile. And a picture on the top of keria. He then unrapped the gift and slowly placed it ont he vary top of the pile, "I was hoping you would read this. Now i guess i'll never know if it's good." He bowed his head, "i miss you already keria. And I know your lisening somewhere, I love you and i'm going to try hard while your gone. But we will be united again... eventally." He turned and headed bakc out locking the dor behind him. Meanwhile the item on the top of the stack was a hard copy of a light brown book. THe title, "My Yokai Familiy."

After Kiiro had a little talk with Amelia she'd said she needed to go away for just the day while Dante was going to try and get Soflora back. If anything Kiiro was there for moral support. She would make herself scarce when Dante finally got there but for the moment she would try to be encouraging and calming. Especially after his older sister had just died. The event itself was crushing for Kiiro. But she wasn't the kind of person to let her feelings go first. Dante was her master, essentially. He went first. And even after offering to teleport Dante to Soflora herself he denied and wanted to go by foot. He'd only been there once and he remembered the whole way. If there was one good thing he had it was a good memory. Something he kept from when he was a Guardian. Being a human now had many challenges for him. He found he didn't have as much stamina so he kept having to stop more often. His feet hurt a lot more when he ran. And so it took until nearly afternoon to finally get to Soflora's home. The daunting hotel which had scared Dante a lot when he was smaller. Now Dante was very close to being fully grown and he walked up to the doors with the same kind of fear. "Where do you want me to be?" Kiiro asked cautiously walking up next to him. Dante panted a little out of breath as his head pounded in his chest. "Stay behind me." Kiiro nodded as Dante faced the door again, and finally let out a booming knock.

*It seem the door opend form the hotel as a large blob like monster slid out leaving a pile of green slime behind. But of course there was someone already workingon cleaning it up. Drakula was in the main lobby trying to sort out a mess with the rooms where he spotted donte at the doors. He suddenly in a burst of speed without even oving his legs appeared infront of Donte, "It's about time you showa up. You broke her heart, and i havn'ta the time to hunt you down myself fora hurting her." He glared at kirro, "and you dare bring another women here with you. You sir have some serious problems to figure aout." He was basicly glared over and down at donte, walking back out the doors backwords, almost to the point of pushing them back. Once they were finally outside and the doors closed behind him dracula point, "you shouldn't be ah here. If she sees you there will be much hell to pay." he hissed.

Dante frowned and looked to him apologetically. "No sir.. You don't understand-" There was a large crack that sent Dante off on his words. Kiiro's hand connecting with the mans face. Kiiro's expression was angry as she then huffed. "Who are you to judge so soon. This boy has been through hell just to get to this point and from the get go you put him down. Now I understand that Dante hasn't been the best the past few months and with what he did to Soflora but that doesn't give you an excuse to belittle him. His older sister passed away yesterday and a few days ago he was changed into a human. Have a little respect for what he's had to go through to do this." She huffed. Dante's eyes were wide in shock as he stared at Kiiro then back forwards. "This... This is Kiiro. I'm sorry, you must have got the wrong idea sir. Kiiro is a trusted friend of both me and Soflora." He knew there wasn't much hope in politeness after Kiiro had been so forward. He was going to have to go to his second plan without even getting through the first. "I am going to see Soflora now, sir." He said assertively with a glare of his own.

*Dracula blinked at kirro and ran a hand on his face, "hmmm... a trusted freind you say... theres only one girl i know who would dare strike at me." He shied, "I am only protecting my doughter. She told me not to let you into this place, dispite what you go though i have to protect my little girl." He frowned, "and sadly this is no place for a human type... there are many creatures here that you try to eat at you." He turned and with grumble, "stay close to me and i'll get you up to her room where she stays most of the time. From there your on your own, if she puts you through the walls though dont come blaming upon me~" He warned.

Dante blinked, surprised as he was to actually get this gar in the first place. He looked back to Kiiro who smiled sweetly even after looking so angry and stuck right behind him. "I really appreciate it. Thank you. I wanted to apologise to you as well, sir. I know I made loads of promises back then that I didn't end up keeping." He nodded. "I... Well I like to think that I have changed now. I just want the chance to clear everything with your daughter and ask her forgiveness. Because I've realised that from all my time that I've spent away from her I've felt a chunk of me missing." Kiiro admired the way that Dante now spoke of Soflora. Before she recognised that Dante didn't put much effort into much of a relationship. But since then he's realised how much he loves Soflora. Kiiro saw that first hand when he went to go and pick up the just finished engagement ring from the smithy.

They stopped at the highest tower door where dracula turn around, "it's not going to be easy~' He warned as he nocked on the door, "sweaty pumkin..." he opened it slightly and stuck his head through, "Theres two freinds here two see you..." He dodged something thrown at the door, "they came all the was from the yokai lands..." he dodged somthing else as she finally spoke in a angry tone, "Cant you see i'm buisy! Send them away!" It wasn't really like soflora but dracula pulled his head back and and closed the door, he then grinned eviliy and patted dontes shoulder as he startedt ogo down the hall, "it wasn't nice knowing you. Good luck though~"

Dante looked to Kiiro cautiously as he breathed in deeply. Kiiro nodded with a small smile, encouraging Dante to continue. Dante nodded back as he carefully opened the door and walked inside. "Soflora," He said quickly as Kiiro then walked inside. "It's Dante and Kiiro." He put his hands up in his defense. "Now before you say anything, I just want to explain myself a little first." He looked down. "No doubt you're angry at me. I don't blame you at all, Soflora. I wouldn't blame you if you were angry at me forever. What I did to you was wrong, and I acknowledged that from the second I did it." He swallowed. "But since then I've come to really realise how much I miss you. You might not want to hear it but also how much I really love you." He shut his eyes. "So if you need to let off steam, all right. Kick me, punch me, hurt me. Whatever you want. I just want you to know how sorry I really am. And that I've never stopped thinking about you."

*It seemed Soflora changed a bit. She was slightly taller, her hair a little bit longer finally past her shoulders. However she still wore basicly the same outfit. The only other diffrence was the 'i hat the world' expression on her face that she now usally kept, and it was realy starting to just stick like that. She crossed her arms, "hi Kiro. What are you doing here?" She asked ignoring donte compleatly.

Dante's expression saddened as he looked back to Kiiro helplessly. Kiiro seemed sympathetic for a moment before she turned her attention to Soflora. "It's been a while... Miss Soflora. We've missed you, you know. It's been so different without you around. I hope you've been keeping well." She said trying to be polite although knew what Soflora was doing. She felt Dante's hurt in her own chest. "Please don't ignore me, Soflora." He frowned. "You can do anything, just please don't pretend I'm not here." If anything that hit him even harder than any of her punches would have. Too many times had he been ignored by his family recently when he'd tried to reach out to them. It really got to him now.
