Finally got back to the truck. Seeing more weres there then before. He also seen Athena shift with out shame. Then put on Kabir's shirt. Which was clearly to big.

May got into the truck, into that small seat. She still didn't shift back. She kept her head down, and tried to curl herself into a small ball. She looked at the floor, avoiding James' gaze. She knew this was what he wanted. Her to be submissive.

May's ears went down again when he looked at her. She looked away, staying behind his seat where he couldn't see her. She looked through the window to the back of the truck. The guys and Athena seemed happy.
Then she shifted, and put her clothes on quickly. That had to be the worst part of shifting. Having to undress before shifting. Unless, of course, the shifter wanted to tear their clothes. When she was fully dressed, she stayed in that corner. She may not be confined to the cage anymore, but she was still trapped by James. He now dictated her life whether she liked it or not. And she did not like it one bit.

He watched her shift. Clearly he did not shift in front of her to embarrass her. Which he was nice enough to do.

May's face was a bit red. She knew he had watched her. Even if she was behind his seat. She didn't know if he watched through the mirror, or if he stopped the car to watch her. Either way she was fully clothed and in human form now. She scowled, and ducked down, hiding her face from him.

Got punched by Athena. Frowning he gone and talked to Kabir. Who just growled and was annoyed.

May watched Athena punch James, and felt only slightly better. When she was spoken to, May nodded a bit. "I know...but it doesn't help to know how he looks at me...and that if he does anything, I'm not nearly strong enough to stop him." she said.

May looked away. "It still scares me. I've never been in a relationship. I was too busy reading books about tragedies." she said, with a slight smirk. When her hair was messed up, she smirked again, and tried to fix it when Athena took her hands away.

May sighed. "I sure hope so. I feel like a slave sometimes. He controls almost everything I do." she said. She leaned her head back against the headrest of the car, and closed her eyes. She was tired from the rescue. Shifting took more energy than she thought.

Soon got to his door. And Athena moved to the back seat carefully. When she sat by May. He and a few other males got in. Well most rode in the bed of the truck. Some shifted into their human skins and dressed others still in their furs.

Soon sensed James's eyes on her. Then she got into the backseat with May. Not saying much. Well were's loaded into and onto James's truck. Soon enough they were going around and dropping off many weres. She figured some of them were ones who were from the cages.

May flinched when James got in, and mentally scolded herself. She needed to stopbeing so afraid! He was just a guy. Same species as her. She frowned at herself. How could she feel less afraid?
Eventually they got home, and it was just her, Athena and James in the house. May went to take a shower. She was exhausted, but wanted to be clean before relaxing. The clothes she planned to change into were on the counter near the shower. She relaxed under the stream of hot water, and sighed. Finally. Athena was safe, other weres were freed, and nobody had to die. It was an example of a perfect rescue.

Was walking around the house when they returned. He did not notice May go into the bathroom. Sighing he was thinking of going to one. Which was his, the only one with a working head.
